Went into order take out and was greeted by friendly staff members when I entered. There was a decent crowd and we were all greeted by a friendly staff. Ordering was easy and got my food pretty quick as well. It's your typical diner fare: burgers, soup, breakfast. But it's still darn good diner fare. You want burgers for breakfast, bam, you got it (which I did). Got the pub burger, pretty darn good. Or if you want breakfast as well, they got you covered too. Really good George Webb. Would come to this location again.

Friendly staff busting their humps to service the full house. Food met expectations. I'd go again if in the mood and neighborhood.

Placemat. Looking for coupons.

Basic sit down counter service. Placed order, wait for food. The waitress was nice, smiled and looked at us once. She served the drinks; water and coffee. Food was slower than expected. Food quality and service were standard. Pretty much a same thing here. Our server took the check, credit card and cashed us out. She was very helpful. The highligt of the visit. My wife's hash browns were over cooked, too crispy and crunchy. They should be soft, lightly browned and chewy. Thanks server lady for taking care of us.

Your typical MKE 24 hour greasy spoon. Cheap, good food. Great late night that is always open. Good luck trying to get refills on anything.

I had hair in my food, the waitress didn't ask how was the food. My omelette wasn't cooked all the way my toast was burned.

While visiting Milwaukee, we thought we'd try Don's TV & Repair before heading out for the evening…read more The exterior of the building definitely indicates a repair shop and restaurant. Once inside, the friendly host staff will ask you for the password. Heck, if I can figure it out, anyone can. Then we were shown to the table. The ambiance is certainly 80's feeling with the music and the relics of the era. Even though the menu is limited, the restaurant still offers great options. Riley, server, had greet us shortly after arriving. My friend order an Old Fashion (when you're in WI...) and I had ordered the Shamrock Shake with a shot of whiskey (we visited Milwaukee near St. Paddy's Day). Both of us ordered the Fish Fry. The drinks were delivered within a few minutes. The Shamrock Shake was certainly well worth it. Then few more minutes, the entrees were delivered. The three pieces of fish were very meaty and great crust. The well seasoned fries were very tasty. Riley had checked in couple of times with us. Great service, great food and great 80's music. Enjoy!!

We got a 1pm time slot for lunch on Saturday. We waited in the small crowded lobby once we checked in. Once our time came up we gave the password (I must have missed this part but I googled it while we waited) and were led inside. The concept was fun as was the decor but I thought it would be even more kitschy than it was. Our waiter was enthusiastic. The food menu is small but the milkshake and the boozy milkshake menu is big and interesting. The salted caramel milkshake was very good. I got their smash burger basket with the fries. I don't order smash burgers often and this was a reminder why. It was overcooked and dry. The fries though were excellent. My wife got a breakfast meal and she thought it was solid. The prices were reasonable but be warned they automatically tack on a 20% service charge. I was not surprised since I saw this in reviews. If it was on the menu I missed it. Worth one visit.

This was my first visit to Blue's, it's been on my places to try for a couple years. Finally made…read moreit and I was not disappointed. I chose the daily browns... aka, loaded hash browns and added a couple eggs. Every flavor worked. The best hash I've ever had. My gripe is too much good stuff to choose.... So I'll be back.

Did you know that Blue's Egg serves a fish fry on Fridays during Lent? Until last week I didn't…read moreknow that either. Their website has a popup on the home page saying it comes with fried haddock, potato pancakes, applesauce, and rye bread, but the popup doesn't list the price and it isn't available through the online ordering function. I ended up calling in an order to go, substituting wheat bread for the rye, and also added a piece of lemon ginger coffee cake. The lemon ginger coffee cake tasted fine, but man was it dry. Like Sahara Desert dry. Maybe this was an anomaly and their other baked goods are better, but I'd be hesitant to try them based on this coffee cake. Even though the website says the side is potato pancakes with applesauce, my fish fry came with fries. They ended up being the best part of the meal, which I certainly wasn't expecting. Still, I was disappointed cause I prefer potato pancakes and was given their inclusion as an expectation. The wheat bread itself was ok, but the butter was oddly unsalted. The fish, of which there was three pieces, was battered with a hint of beer, but like the butter for the bread there was no salt to speak of in the batter. As much as I didn't enjoy the unsalted butter for the bread, not having salt in the batter for the fish managed to be more unpleasant. Maybe Blue's Egg should just stick with serving breakfast items instead of adding something temporary that they clearly aren't pros at.
