George is a boutique shop for pet accessories, toys, and treats in the Bishop Ranch mall. I am the auntie to an adorable dog we lovingly call Mr. Meatball. Mr. Meatball joins us at Christmastime, so this year we stopped in to pick up a couple items for him from Santa. We loved that George had a nice sized selection of toys and tried to choose one that was tough while also being cute. The service was friendly and warm and we wrapped up our purchase being told should our second item not fit, we could return or exchange it. All in all, a great first visit to George! read more

What an incredibly cute store catered to dogs and cats! They have practically almost everything to make your fur babies happy. They have a curated selection of toys, clothes, essentials such as beds, clothes, harnesses, leashes, etc. They have a huge selection of dog treats to pamper your pooch! I came in to look for a rain coat for my Maggie but unfortunately didn't find one I liked. Instead, I bought her some baked goods and other fun treats that i'm sure she will love. We came by last week to get info on a cake for our dog's bday. Since the cake needs to be kept frozen, we let the woman who assisted us know we'd be back on Tuesday to purchase. We show up on Tuesday (today) at 11:50am to get the cake and they're closed. Their posted store hours state Tuesday to Sunday 11a-6p both on Yelp AND their front door. We call the store number and the recording tells us they open at 12pm. No problem, only 10 minutes, we can wait. It's well past 12pm now. We called again hoping maybe someone was in the back, unaware there are customers waiting (we weren't the only ones standing outside!) and no one is opening the store. My family has been here a few times just for dog treats. We usually get the salmon rolls or pig ears. They also have some unique treats like cow ears, duck heads and duck necks. Very nice setup of the store. Price is reasonable. Employees are always welcoming. A more recent visit, I had some questions and employee Brenton was super helpful and had the right answers. Friendly people + Free Petting of Giant Dog, Thunder! Happened to spot the store while sauntering through the mall. I immediately noticed the huge statuesque dog out front. That is Thunder. He is friendly and it's okay to pet him. I knelt down to pet him, and he sort of gave me a condescending look as though to say, "Here We Go Again." Oh well. The friendly and informative cashier described the history of the company and the various products they carry. There's quite a wide variety of dog products, including harnesses, collars, treats, dog food--well you get the idea. I took a minute to snap some selfies with Thunder. I'm going to bring my doberman to take lessons from Thunder. My dog is too wild. Why can't our dog be more like Thunder? read more

I stopped by on my lunch break today to get a new harness for my dog Mochi and the shopkeeper was friendly and welcoming, and told me about her own pets when I asked. I'm very pleased that the harness fits Mochi, and I got an alligator-shaped veggie treat at checkout that she's ardently chewing right now. read more

My dog insisted that I write this review to give George all the woofs and praise it deserves! George has a great curated selection of just about everything you would need for your dog, from treats, toys to essentials like beds and bowls. My dog in particular is a fan of their treats. There's a ton of variety from biscuits and cookies to chews. The pork bon bon biscuits get my pup's full attention, and they also have some great freeze dried treats. The toy selection is great too and there's good variety for what stimulates or interests your dog. I was (on behalf of my dog) excited to see snuffle mats this time. My dog isn't a huge chewer with toys but loves to sniff and it can be hard to find toys that engage her. These snuffle toys that let us hide treats for her to sniff out are perfect! They seem to have new items pretty regularly, so it's great to see a variety to pick from. So if your dog is looking for something delightful, George will surely have something to please them! Ok I thought this was a toy store from looking from the 2nd floor because of their bright colors. Upon close up I found out it was a pet store! Located near Salt and Straw and across from the Boba Guys, it is a small but bright store with lots of treat jars and toys. The sales person helped me to find a sturdy toy for our rough chewer and some chew sticks for my SIL's cats. So far so good with the sturdy toy. She hasn't torn it to shreds - yet. The cats like the chew sticks. It can get pretty pricey but I like that you can choose a couple of treats without buying a whole bag of it. Customer service was great and would be back in for gifts. read more

My dog drags me to George every time we come to train at The Hub. I always say she has good taste, so no surprise she always wants to come in. I have had my dog for almost 3 years & the first year we shopped at Pet Food Express. In that year we elevated her food b/c I could tell that my dog wanted higher quality food than the kibble the breeder recommended. Also, I want her to have a long & healthy life. Since we are always on the road & I don't have time to make fresh meals, I am happy to find Green JuJu & Dr. Becker's on this side of the bay. Now I don't have to tolerate the service at Bow Wow Meow. And they have treats by weight which I like so my dog can try a small amount before we commit. And I love that they have dehydrated white sweet potato & beef heart strip which is hard for me to find. They also have Tall Tails toys & our favorite Ruffwear. And yesterday I found out they started to carry Paw Patch Pastries. If you have never smelled their fresh desserts, it is amazing! We love the high quality & locally made products! read more

Fantastic service!! Called in to purchase a birthday cake for my pup. Gentleman who answered the phone was very kind. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly young lady who not only helped me with the cake but was also able to provide candles. I ended up also purchasing a birthday hat & some treats. My pup loved the treats even though he's a picky eater. She tried giving him meat treats in the store but he was too shy. Once we got home, he ate them all up & was asking for more. This place deserves more five-star reviews! We went here for the first time today to prep for our new puppy. Caroline was working the desk and greeted us right away. Whenever we had a question about a product she gave detailed, useful responses and recommendations. She even gave us a little tutorial on how to use some of the slicker brushes and toothbrushes. We were trying to decide on harnesses, collars and leashes. When she saw we were unsure about sizing she assured us that George has a good return for store credit policy. This place is great. I bought dried anchovies for my cat- who didn't like them, so I'm giving them to my friend's dog who will LOVE them. My cat is super picky- she's a cat, need I say more? So I will keep going back here until I find something she loves. I will probably have to spend 100's of dollars- but so what? She's my baby. The favorite child. She's worth it. Love to find that there is a pet boutique in this shopping center. Good thing I had spotted the sign that was posted at the end of the center walkway, otherwise I wouldn't have known about it unless I was aimlessly walking around. Bowl full of water right outside the front door, George is a small dog and cat boutique that has cute and fun toys. I saw Gumby figurines, Lamb Chop, and a lot of food / drink shaped soft toys, snacks, grooming, and essentials like travel bowls / bottles, beaded collars / leashes, for your furry friend or fur baby. I didn't get to see the front left side of the store for some reason. It was a fun store to walk through. Curious to take a closer look at the bath and health products they have. Cute stuff, but I didn't really see anything where I HAD to get it for my dog where it was unique enough to make that purchase. Didn't exchange any verbal communication with the worker which was kind of strange since the shop is small and I walked in with my dog, but maybe they were talking to another customer (don't remember). read more

The reason why I am writing a 1 star review is because at the time of visiting the person working there was very unwelcoming and unattentive, they were apperantly too busy with whatever they were doing on their phone to even acknowledge customers that come in. It was myself with my dog and a few others in the store, customer service was non-existent. From the time we entered the store and left, the person behind the counter not once acknowledged myself or anyone else in the store. It's a shame since this store looks to have a lot of potential and is located in a very nice shopping center and for it not to live up to the environment that it's placed in is very disappointing. read more

I came here a few weeks ago to pick up a small cake for my dog's birthday. It's a little hard to find, it's tucked away off the main drag across from Boba Guys, but so worth it when I actually found it. There's so much stuff in this small space! An abundance of treats, cute collars, and various supplies for care. As for the bakery items, they have small cakes and huge cakes as well as cookies, all dog friendly ingredients of course. The cashier that day was also so friendly! The cake was a hit with my pup, so I'll be sure to come back for more treats! read more
