I am an I.T. professional and California Internet is the provider for one of my clients. Needless to say I am used to dealing with ISP's on a daily basis. Even ISP's that claim to be true "business grade" There was zero hold time for them to pick up the phone and to transfer me to two specialized technicians to deal with my issues. When you call any provider not just AT&T you have to go through an AVR system, tell the representative what the issue is, get transferred a few more times since no one knows what the deal is, all while waiting xx amount of minutes on hold and ending up in the residential side when it's a business account. I have had issues with some providers not even being able to locate the account for their customers. The fact that you have your own in house support team, and even allowed me to speak with the bonding engineer was FANTASTIC. While onsite, the internet was only down for about 1 hour while troubleshooting the bonder issue. You promptly assisted myself in getting them up and running by switching the internet connection to the wireless connection. When I said the internet worked, but the phones didn't work, you went above and beyond and switched the wireless IP to a static address to correct the issue until the main issue was resolved. I was with one AT&T tech for about 4 hours and could not get the connection up and running until way to late in the game only to have it go down the next few days. You exceeded my expectations on customer service and my customer was only asking for a 4 hour compensation, you without any quarrel are willing comp a full two days of service, it would be extremely difficult to get a credit on an account unless there is a history of issues that were documented in the providers notes. I own a tech heavy creative agency in Ojai. When I first opened I got a whopping $380 quote from Time Warner (also known as the devil himself) whom I have home cable internet with for $34 per month. I pressed the issue with them but they insisted since it's a business address that only business prices apply. I am a research fanatic, but Ojai only offers a few internet providers... I quickly found out about California Internet Solutions and contacted them. They efficiently described how their system works and I decided to try it out... although I must say I'm naturally skeptical. The day they came to install the rooftop antenna there also happened to be two Time Warner installers putting internet into the coffee house next door. We all sort of collided in the back alley and I couldn't help discussing the price difference with them and my neighbor. I found it funny that Time Warner called me the very next day to discuss & try and strike a new deal, and then even mailed me an offer of $36 including a phone line. I actually called them to tell them that I tried to negotiate a price with several people online before I went to C.A.S. and they were immovable. Now they are slashing the price by 90% - I found their inconsistency insincere and poor messaging to customers. They listened, but I haven't turned back. I only had brief issues with my service once... C.A.S. instantly diagnosed the problem and send someone out to install an even better system within a couple hours. Perfect Service. I have service with California Internet at a rural location using point-to-point microwave wireless, and in Los Angeles, using their unique bonded connection, and get more bandwidth for the dollar than anywhere else I could find. But it is a mistake to evaluate internet service, especially when it is mission-critical like mine, only on the basis of price. It is all about service. California Internet absolutely has the best service I have experienced anywhere. They are not a big mega-conglomerate. It's a small, nimble, locally owned company of fire-in-the-belly entrepreneurs. I have a "bonded" connection that they offer, which combines several bandwidth sources....in my case, two DSLs and one Cable Modem into a single high bandwidth connection. And if one of the legs fails, or slows down (in the case of the Cable connection) it fails over to the other two, seamlessly. Other companies offer this, but only after you buy a seven thousand dollar piece of iron! CIS uses inexpensive off the shelf equipment, and they manage it remotely. They will consult with you to come up with the best solution for your location. Really great guys. They feel like part of my company. I know I sound like I am someone's brother-in-law writing this review....but I'm not. I'm just very happy to no longer be at the mercy of the big providers who have sold out to Covad. They did a wonderful job and saved me from an awful experience! called Geolinks up after a few weeks of frequent connection outages from Spectrum. I was concerned because I hadn't heard of any installations in the Moorpark area, but Noah was quick to provide a response that I was in a supported area. They provided me with a Fixed Wireless connection, which were installed by Eli and Rudy. They did a professional job, and placed the antenna on a side of the house that was completely hidden from general view and ran the installation through a cluttered part of the house without any significant interruptions. Initial tests have seen uptime consistent with their agreement and not a single outage. I'm keeping a close eye on it, but so far I've had a completely stable connection. Thanks, guys! read more

We had been struggling with AT&T internet services for 9 years because it was the only company servicing our area. They promised 12mb download but we never got more than 6mb, and most of the time we got less than 3mb. GeoLinks is AMAZING. Our IT Administrator facilitated their installation of a small dish on our roof and within days we were in internet speed heaven. Our upload and download speeds surpass what was promised. We have had no interruption in service in any weather, including rain, fog or wind. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their techs were professional, quick and neat. 5 stars because I've literally never experienced this fast of Internet. My Netflix hasn't buffered once since I made the switch to GeoLinks! Great local company. It is rare these days to call a company and actually talk to a human. At GeoLinks, not only do you talk to a human, but they are polite and responsive, they return your calls, they answer questions with competence and patience, and they provide fantastic internet service with little to no interruption. I switched to CA Internet about 2 months ago (from ATT DSL) and I'm really happy I did. Not only is the connection much more reliable for about $30 less per month, the billing and technical support is FAR superior. I get through to a real person every time I call or email, no waiting in line. I've contacted tech support once, and even though the issue related to my hardware and not to their lines, they were friendly and helpful in walking me through suggested fixes. Before our business found out about these guys we had gone 4 years having to deal with super slow internet connection. This company has been great. I needed internet fast and they were able to come out right away. Easy work with, and great communication. Just had Alfredo Medina come out and he was super helpful. Even stayed while I had to run to Best Buy to get a new router. Made sure I was completely set up and happy with everything and went above and beyond. CA Internet just setup a 3rd site for our dental offices and have increased our efficiency drastically by giving us 3x the upstream connection speed we had prior on our VPN links. We also cut costs by 10% from telepacific. Beyond that though working with their team is incredibly refreshing. So far were super happy. I had a stubborn Wi-Fi connection problem with my new iPhone 5s that Verizon Wireless couldn't solve (although they were very nice and tried very hard).
