Professional, Quality and as promised. When my husband & I decided to remodel our kitchen earlier this year, the first one company we thought about is Genuine Custom homes.because this company was referred by our daughter who had her kitchen remodeled 2 years ago and was very happy for the job done. Without hesitation, we ask for the job discussion and quote, Brian ( the owner ) speedy responded, we agreed with the contract. Brian and his team crew quickly start the job. Brian and his crew ( greatly appreciate foreman Melvin, he's very knowledgeable and responsible, great leader), all his workers including carpenters, electricians, flooring, fabrication, plumbers are fantastic and easy to communicated with. specially thanks to the fabrication company who spent time and patiently layout the quartzite stone with beautiful patterns on, without their patient, we may easily spent thousands of dollars for the 3rd slat stone. Brian even try to match our schedule during our 2 weeks vacation when we were out of the country, for security reasons, they stop the job temporary and restart the job when we came back. we're thrilled to found Genuine Custom Homes. Now te remodel is completed on schedule. we sit around the brand new island built with fabulous patterned quartzite with waterfall at one end and feel such joy and appreciate all the hard working people. Genuine Custom Homes is highly recommended.

I wanted to add some photos of my completed kitchen! Very happy :) Thank you again, Brian

Brian and his team were fantastic to work with. The end results were stunning, I only wish we had done the renovation sooner. He stayed on budget and on schedule and was very transparent throughout the process.

We recently worked with Brian and his crew to replace the countertops, install a new sink and remove two window openings in our kitchen. We were amazed at how much work they did in such a short amount of time. In 10 days, our kitchen went from closed off and outdated (hello tile countertops) to modern and open. Brian helped advise us on the materials & design and was there every step of the way. With many workers coming in and out of our home daily, he always gave us a heads up as to what work was going to be performed. Brian was readily available by phone/text and was super communicative throughout the entire process. If you're looking for superior work with an amazing, friendly team, Brian & Genuine Kitchen and Bath is your match!

I had met with 4 contractors about re doing my kitchen. When I met with the owners of Genuine Kitchen and Bath, I knew they were right for the job! Brian was so professional and helpful! Dianna was awesome too! It was so great to have a woman's touch and opinion on everything I needed help with (most contractors I met with were male, and I sometimes did not understand their construction lingo). They both really seemed liked they cared about me and my project. They were both always timely and kept right on schedule throughout the whole project. They never hesitated to take time out of their busy days to help me through tough design decisions or explain to me different processes and options available to me. My kitchen turned out to be everything I had ever dreamed of! I am so happy with it and the work they have done. I have received tons of compliments and I feel like I'm living in a whole new house now. I am planning to do my bathroom next year and will definitely use them again for that project. I highly recommend Genuine Kitchen and Bath!

They just completed our DREAM kitchen, including floors throughout Kitchen and dining room. We could not have possibly had a better experience! This team is out of this world. Our kitchen went from old and outdated to perfection. I always dreamed out a white kitchen but along with our two young children we have two dogs (and a potbelly pig) so white cabinets just didn't seem realistic. Brian and Dianna (the owners) suggested we go with two tone (dark cabinets on bottom and white on top) and it turned out beyond perfect. I can't even imagine having the all white now because the two tone look makes our small kitchen look so much more open. This team is not only creative and caring but also efficient, our entire kitchen transformation happened in two weeks. If you've ever had to be without a kitchen you know that having a company that cares about getting your home back in order as quickly as possible is so important. We love this company so much, we will only ever trust them with our home and recommend them to everyone we know. If you want a company you can TRUST, look no further.

    a clean and modern kitchen

Brian and his entire team were fantastic! The entire process and timeline were communicated and scheduled nicely. The quality of the work provided and special attention to every detail were impeccable. I truly am thrilled by the final outcome of the entire renovation. Work involved entire kitchen remodel, new flooring, demolition and reconstruction of wall removal and fireplace facelift. Everything turned out beautifully.

Brian and Dianna are a wonderful, responsive and helpful team. We've been talking about remodeling our two bathrooms for nearly eight years, and every time we started the process we would get completely overwhelmed. Brian met with me promptly after receiving my quote request. He provided ideas, assured me that it was not going to be as difficult as I feared and coached me through the whole structural engineer, city permit and product purchase process. Six months from when we signed our contract our two bathrooms are complete and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Our home was built in the 1930s so many hiccups came up throughout the remodel process, but Brian and Dianna were always calm and matter a fact, assuring us that it would all work out. We definitely recommend Genuine Kitchen and Bath for your kitchen and bathroom remodel needs!

Such an awesome experience, I had to write about it! I had been searching around for someone to do the addition/remodel project that my wife and I had been dreaming about for years. We had been wanting to expand our home for the last few years, and remodel some of the living area, to better suite our growing family's needs. My wife and I met with about 10 contractors over the last year or so, and we decided to go with Genuine Kitchen and Bath, and we are so glad we did! Brian and Dianna were so friendly, down to earth, professional, yet easy to talk to and very helpful. This was the first time we had ever had any construction done in our home... and we had A LOT of questions going into it, and throughout the project. Brian and Dianna almost always answered the phone, or text, or email immediately with answers, and were super helpful when we had to change a few minor items around. They provided us numerous options whenever there was any kind of issue ( whether the material was running late due to covid, or we last minute wanted to change the paint color, etc...) and worked around any small hiccup that the covid factor brought upon us, that was of no fault of theirs, to make sure we were completely happy and that construction moved along the best it could considering the circumstances. Construction had been shutdown by the county for a period of time, and during that time, Brian and his team still made use of the time well, so that the expected completion date stayed on track. The cost of the project stayed within the original quote we received, and was reasonable for how much work they did. We had received other quotes as well which were extremely too high for the work we wanted done, but Genuine Kitchen and Bath came in right where we had anticipated price-wise, and seemed like a good deal with everything they were going to provide, both materials and labor. They also helped with the design of the areas we remodeled. I really would recommend using Genuine Kitchen and Bath for any type of remodeling or addition work, big or small. They proved they could handle it all with a smile on their face. We now have the space we have been dreaming of in our home. (209 SF Addition, 450 SF Remodel area including kitchen and 2 bathrooms)

The only useful thing Brian provided during his visit.

TL;DR: To all potential shoppers, please avoid Brian who was rude and unprofessional during on-site visit. He also tried to upsell us and wasn't helpful at all. Long version: I wouldn't write this review if I thought all contractors nowadays would be like Brian. Apparently not. So we are looking to get quotes for remodeling our kitchen and 2 baths. We scheduled about 4 contractors to do on-site estimates and the owner Brian is the most unprofessional one based on our experience. When writing a review, we look at 2 things and only 2 things: data and facts. During other contractors' visit, they were carefully listening to our needs, taking notes, taking measurements, proactively providing ideas/feedback and trying to sell their business. While Brian was here, the whole visit must be about less than 10 mins. My family and I were talking about what we want to do and our ideas but Brian was staring at us as if there was a bible printed on our faces. He was quiet the whole time. When we stopped, to our surprise, the first thing he asked was: "what's your budget?". Of course we didn't want to give away our budget in this early stage. He then continued: "Well, roughly say, this is gonna be a $100,000 kitchen. If you guys think it's only a $50,000 job. Then we can revisit when you guys are more serious about this." Excuse me??? First of all, what made you assume that we don't have the budget? Maybe we're so young and beautiful that he think there is no way these guys can afford this! Secondly, our whole conversation didn't involve what materials we want to use or anything like that. How would you assume it's gonna cost that much when material cost plays a big part! Even though he was quiet when we were talking about our remodel plans, he definitely did not forget to sell his cabinets business. Attached is the picture of catalogs he gave us. He said if we wanted to start, we can start with cabinets first and let him know. Interesting, he already made the assumption that if we wanted to get kitchen done and we will order cabinets from him..... He even said cabinets alone will cost $20,000 - $30,000. Again, we didn't mention what kind of cabinets we want at all or where we want to get them from. That sounds like he assumed that we'd spend at least $20K-$30K on cabinets alone with him if we want to get kitchen done? Then he also took a look at our bathrooms and provided estimates: $50,000 for the big one and $20,000 for the small one. So that's a total of $170,000 quote he provided. Comparing to other bids we received so far, this is about 30% - 40% more than the other ones. The other contractors itemized each item with clear pricing and we know exactly each item cost, which we really like. I encourage you shop around to get quotes and don't waste time with Brian!

What was going on and what was happening if I had any concerns, he addressed them immediately and make sure that they met my expectations. I would use Wise Builders again and I would request Marc to be my project manager again on any future jobs that I had. He worked really well with our designer Jocelyn, I appreciated having a designer. Having a designer to bounce ideas off have her expertise on fixtures and toilets was amazing. Jocelyn did an excellent job working with me and when my daughter had some changes to this design, she was very receptive to those changes and helped me update the changes in our design The only thing that could have been better is, if the tile supplier had communicated with Marc that the tile for the guest shower floor was backlogged. Marc worked really hard to expedite the tile and was in communication with me along that process. In order to give us options besides waiting for the tile, Jocelyn, our designer gave us an alternative tile. Looking at the tile floor now I like it better than what I had originally chosen. I have done other remodeling projects and I would have to say that working with Marc has probably been one of the easiest remodeling projects that I have done. I appreciated that I did not have to be so hands-on in the project because I trusted that Marc would get it done.

Vendors: Artistic Kitchen (Mike Ryan), HomeWise (Janelle), Bedrosians (Jenny), Rubenstein Supply Wise team: The 3 A's: Aaron, Alex and Allen. Israel was our day to day supervisor. Estimated Time: 3.5-4.5 months. Wise met this timeline. Positives: Demo: Quick and efficient. They had the place cleared out in 2 days. Prior to demo, their team helped us move our large pieces of furniture into our storage pod. I consider this above and beyond helpful. Flexible: As they started the prep for electrical and plumbing, we made changes and add-on's. For any unforeseen issues, they were responsive. Media niche: The team built out the area exactly to my husband's design. The owner dropped by to view the project and gave us an idea on how to build out the space for our TV mount. We are happy with the result. Fire place: The stone ledger was installed by Oliver per the design. The final product is gorgeous. Kudos to Oliver! Bathroom: Although small, the demo process was challenging as we have a concrete subfloor. It felt like they were grinding for days to prep for the shower. Once we selected our tile, their installer (Jesus) helped us with the layout and it came out beautifully. Kitchen: The prep work for the cabinet install, plumbing and electrical was completed in a timely manner. Wise's cabinet installer, David guided the team through the install process. David is meticulous and skillful at his craft. Allen: This was my first large remodel project and I wanted to have a designer to help guide me through the process. Allen came out to meet us and learn about our style choices and helped us with the challenging process of picking a lot of materials. He kept a spreadsheet which we could update ourselves. I had inspiration photos and he collaborated with us to bring it all together. Allen's design drawings gave us true picture of the final product. So much so that we ended up changing our bathroom tile because we didn't like how it looked in the drawings. Allen was patient, helpful, responsive and has a keen eye for design. Areas for Improvement: Communication, Attention to detail, Slowing down. These things came up throughout the project and mostly corrected to our satisfaction. I will list a couple of examples: Flooring installation: We were considering having our floor vendor do the installation but the savings in our Wise bid was not that much and Aaron assured us that his team was experienced with installing engineered hardwood. We asked the team to pick the planks with the least blemishes and lay them in the open areas while the others could be installed under the cabinets or closets. I don't know if there was a language barrier during communication but my husband ended closely watching the team and picking out the planks himself. This took a fair amount of his time and shouldn't have. We also noticed in the front entryway that some of the planks squeaked and flexed. We could not accept this because it was in a high traffic area. The solution they came up with was to drill small holes and inject enough glue so that the planks would not flex. We were nervous about this but figured it would be better than tearing up a portion of the floor and reinstall them. Thankfully, it worked and there is only a tiny hole which is not noticeable. The ovens needed to be wired for 240V but was wired to 120V. This was clear in the oven's instruction manual. It was corrected. We purchased very expensive outlets for our kitchen island and requested that they be installed flush to the panels. My husband even sent a PDF with instructions in WhatsApp to be communicated to the team. Either it never made it to the team, or they didn't follow instructions. We couldn't redo them because the damage to the panels was not acceptable to us. A couple of cabinet doors had the wrong size hole drilled for the handles. I did map out each door with specific handle size. They corrected this at no cost to us. I created a final TODO/correction list after final inspection and they completed everything to our satisfaction. Overall I am excited with the final results, especially with my kitchen. The Wise team were cooperative, courteous and professional. See my before/after pics.

Eli walked us through each and every step with detailed weekly updates, keeping us entirely in the loop. We were actually out of town for two of those months, but because of his proactive communication, his team made lightning-fast progress while we were away. We are thrilled with the final result. The craftsmanship is excellent, and Eli personally ensured that everything--from the foundation up--was executed to the highest standard.

From start to finish the interactions had been very professional, respectful and timely. What sets this company apart was that they knew what they were doing, very experienced and had made the best use of our time in the two in person meetings that we had by answering all the questions we had and giving us exactly what my husband and I needed. We started out thinking we wanted an ADU extension but Nir gave us an honest take on what would work with our home and we were impressed. Out of several handful of people we met we would have gone with Level up if we decided to start the project and hope they pick up our call when we are ready again in a few years. Thank you Nir, Ruth and the rest of the team.

They also discovered dry rot and mold growth on multiple stories of my house that likely resulted from the leaks. They were able to quickly and efficiently repair the leak, open up the drywall to repair all the mold damage, and then replace the drywall and repaint/retexture the wall. Oh, they stayed on to re-deck my aged and rotting wood deck with some modern synthetic decking. Yes, quite a bit of repair work, yet all done within a couple of weeks. Well, it's been about two years since they've done this work and I'm sitting in this season's first major rainstorm thankful that the repair work has been holding quite well. Thanks to Alex, Ilya, and their hardworking crew for the excellent repair work. Regarding the original windows that I needed repaired, well, that turned out to be more complicated. Fortunately, Ilya and Alex were good on their commitment to complete the job until the leaking completely stopped. Yes, what a relief now that the rainy weather has picked up again this winter. In summary, easy to work with, fast, versatile, wide range of services, committed.

He was at my house the next day spent most of the day replacing and perfecting the wood so it matched the surrounding frame - really cared about doing a good job. And the cost was reasonable. As far as United Pro Handyman Service, pleasantly surprised that they got back to me the very day I called them about my job. I can't say that about other handyman services on Yelp. I will definitely be using their service again and will recommend them to others.

From the start of the design project, they used high quality sub contractors for design, engineering, and all the trades in the house. Fernando, our project manager was incredible. He approached the project with a keen eye for details and took total ownership over the sub contractors. He would stop by almost every night to ensure that the subs were performing their work and not leaving or damaging any other contractors' work. Sarmad is a problem solver. He sees an issue and thinks through how to solve it, then presents clear options to choose from. Throughout the process, we were not surprised by unanticipated expenses - all changes were clearly explained and we had the option to make changes via clear change orders. EDR uses Buildertrend for all program management and billing, which made payments, change approvals, and scheduling tracking seamless. While this sounds like a basic requirement in 2026, not all contractors use these services which just adds friction to the process. We couldn't recommend EDR more for the quality of work on our house, the schedule execution, care for detail, and just taking care of our project. Along the way, we never felt nickel & dimed, and the value of their services definitely exceeded our expectations.

We visited a gorgeous property they remodeled and it was designed impeccably and the quality of work also looked very good. It was also clear how much the owners loved Eddie and Sarmad and let us spend a long time visiting their home. We're grateful to Eddie and Sarmad for their patience with us as doing a first time ground up build is a huge investment for us and we had a lot of questions and concerns. They also went above and beyond their normal bid process when we asked for a more detailed bid for our budgeting purposes. Highly recommend reaching out to EDR!
