The person comes out, on Monday, and it turns out that the job was bigger than I knew. They had budgeted 1 1/2 hours, but they couldn't stay for the 2-3 hours the job would require, as they had another stop. Okey Dokey. There was also mold up under the sink as a result of the leak. I talked to Peggy (I think), and they could possibly get back to me on Friday or next Monday. Great, that gave me time to get the mold cleaned out. NEVER A CALL BACK. I DID get a bill for $125 for the guy who stopped out and didn't have the time to do the job. I called Hermann, and I recommend that you do as well.

All this for a fair and reasonable price. Also, on the phone he was able to give me a ballpark estimate so I wasn't left guessing. I see no reason to go anywhere else. PS I actually called them a while back when a "hair wig" broke in my new pipes and slid down the drain, I was worried it would collect debris and form a clog and they reassured me that it probably just went out to the sewer, but if it ever does clog, he gave me an estimate. Didn't charge me a "house call" fee knowing things would be OK, and they have been for 3+ years. I may have even called them a 2nd time without hiring when the valves to my outside pipes sprung a leak, but my BF fixed it... again Copper Pipe was patient and not annoyed at my calling without hiring, said I could get them in if we couldn't fix it. So when my hot water heater broke and I needed a professional to fix it, I knew who to call. It is a great feeling knowing I have a plumber I can trust (competent, fast, won't rip me off) who can help me tackle any plumbing problem I have, and lucky for me they are only 5 minutes away. For plumber #7, I called Sure Flow Plumbing and they could not have been nicer. David called back and I explained what was going on with it. He listened to me and cared about helping to figure it out. A week later, he came out and replaced the part in less than an hour. He was the only one even willing to try to work on this toilet so if you need a competent and reasonably-priced plumber, call Sure Flow because their customer service cannot be beat!

However, after allowing HoehnContracting to service my system I noticed the system had stopped running, and I had asked Paul to look at the system because it was not running! Paul took it upon himself to replace my $89 timer box with one of his choosing, and without my consent, and after which, he lied to me about the cost of the timer and told me it was $425 ! When in fact, it only cost $224 ... along with a service charge fee of $125 if that wasn't bad enough when I told him that he could have replaced it with an $89 timer, and that I did not want that timer for $425, he said he would take his timer back, but in doing so, he took all of the wiring for my timer, that was originally there and hardwired from the house, he now has it cut off at the bottom of the tank with a female plug and nothing from that point to the surface where the timer box is! He then left with his new timer in hand and the wiring for my system ! That wiring, was there before he decided to take it upon himself to do anything without my permission or consent The sad thing is, I had this done for my stepdaughter who is a single mother of two teenage boys and struggling to make ends meet, and now, with Paul taking the wiring, I am unable to put the $89 timer in to make her system operational. The only thing Paul chose to do was have his employee bring back a decrepit old rotted wire and dropped it on the ground and pretty much said here you go do it yourself. Even if the cord were long enough to reach the bottom, which it was not, it was far too decrepit to risk a fire just because someone got mad that they didn't make an extra $200 off of a 100% mark up , and then lie about it! Now I should mention that the system is a good six / eight feet underground! i'm in my 60s and completely disabled, and he expects me to crawl down in that hole and fix what he tore up A police report has been filed and I am awaiting that report for further action!

We have a Jet septic system that began leaking after a patch repair was attempted and failed two…read moreyears later it was determined the seal between the top and bottom sections of the cast concrete had failed because the top section had shifted. Trying to find someone who had done this type of repair work in Hamilton County was not easy. Luckily I found Paul Hoehn and he explained what needed to be done, that he had done it before, and while it would not be cheap the system would be able to be saved. What a relief. The location of the system was on a hill and not easily accessible. Paul planned out the correct equipment to complete the project quickly and safely. Paul made sure we were without septic service for the shortest amount of time(probably 5 hours) during the repair. He was in constant communication with us. Providing pictures as the job progressed. It took about 3 days from start to finish, be we are so happy to have a fully functioning system again. Paul and Scott were both very respectful of our situation and worked to get us back in service quickly. I'm sure this repair will last for many years. If you have an issue with a septic system give them a call. We can not say how happy we are that we did.

It sounded so realistic at first until I caught on, which made me feel a little silly for attempting to be friendly and make conversation with what turned out to be a robot. And after that whole call, a real person had to call back anyway to confirm a few details. She was super helpful, so I was left wondering why I even had to go through the AI ordeal. Everything from there was awesome. On the morning of my visit, I received a text with rhe plumber's picture and some of his interests and facts about him, as well as his ETA to my home. He was very friendly and wore covers over his shoes. I was very nervous and upset about the water leak and wanted lots of information, which he was patient to share with me. He was helpful, moving my toilet to a place where it would be out of the way and taking care to close up the area for my family's safety while I pursued next steps to avoid water damage. Their office staff was able to quickly email me the plumber's notes and photos. I will definitely call Blue Chip again.
