The gentleman quoted me $1,695 in labor, as all the parts would be reused just refitted. I left work early, drove down there, disassembled, cleaned, and refitted them myself in 45 minutes. Duke came out inspected and turned the gas on. $1,695 for 45 minutes of work is disgraceful. You are taking advantage of people. I will be watching and reporting if you try to take my review down.

Most recently, with all the bad weather we've been having, my drains started backing up and my sump pump failed. It was pouring rain on a Friday, and Bob showed up at 6PM to make sure my house was taken care of. That kind of dedication and response time is hard to find. Customer service was absolutely fantastic and Tyler W. was accommodating and gave us clear explanations as to what was wrong. We received a text message with a picture of the employees so we knew who to expect and what they looked like. Arlinghaus has to send another worker out to discuss prices on a new furnace. Tyler was able to get our furnace working temporarily as we look into buying a new furnace. It cost $89 for him to come out and diagnose the problem. They will remove this from any extra work they may need to do. Unfortunately, in the end we could not afford even the lowest option they had for a furnace. They use a top furnace line brand and are more expensive then the national average. This was the only draw back for me that it was to expensive and I did not want to enter into a loan for a $7,000 furnace when the average homeowners pay is $3100. Regardless, they were transparent and did not pressure me into anything we didn't want to do. I highly recommend Arlinghaus for their professionalism and honesty with their customers.

I reached out to 3 plumbing companies referred to me by friends, but they could not get to me until the afternoon. I wanted someone sooner. I went to Yelp and found Bruce. I've been burned in the past, so I really wanted someone referred. After reading all the 5 star reviews and not one bad, I thought I would take a chance. Bruce answered. He was on a morning job but said he would finish by 11:45am and could be at my home by 12:30pm. My expectations were high after reading the reviews, which usually means I would likely be a little disappointed at best. Was I ever wrong! Bruce arrived early at 12:15pm. He introduced himself and said he would do some discovery work . I showed him the bathroom, and he went to work. I was thinking he would have to cut into the opposite wall, but after a little while, he found the problem. It was a bad valve that turned the water on. He did not have that specific valve in his truck, so he ran to the plumbers supply and got one. He got it installed, cleaned up, and wrote me an invoice for a very fair price. He checked the boxes mentioned in the reviews and exceeded my expectations. I have added Bruce to my contacts, and he is now my go-to plumber. He should be your also. He is the real deal. Fair, honest, and a great family man with a great heart and sense of humor. Like me, you will be glad you called him.
