I was informed that proceeding further through legal means would likely be more expensive than my current loss. I am stuck with a partially completed job at a financial loss. Jason communicated well through the entire process detailing when and what to expect. I had asked for bids from six contractors and York Concrete was the most competitive for a quality job. Most contractors wanted to pour concrete with only fiber in it for strength but Jason's bid was with fibers added plus metal mesh. He stated that York Concrete doesn't want their customers to drive on it with added weight such as a boat or RV five years later and have a problem. I also asked that he cut in the control joints as opposed to troweling them in when I ask for a bid, it takes more time but has better results in controlling cracks, that was no problem. York's Concrete crew was hard-working, cleaned up our property, and very friendly and approachable.

Recently used House Doctors Mason for a bath tile job and I am pleased with the repairs…read more Initially contacted them by phone and did some follow-up by email. Spoke with Melissa and explained that we had some loose wall tiles along the shower surround and we wanted to repair the issue. We were given a couple options depending on finding the cause of the loose tiles which included either replacing the tiles or replacing the tiles and the backing if damaged. We provided the supplies for this job, so we were prepared for the worse case in needing to replace the backing. The job was completed in the amount of time as estimated and it looks like the original. Only reason not providing five starts is because of some miscommunication / misunderstanding in the job to be completed. I was prepared to replace all tile regardless of additional work needing to be completed on the backing. So, I purchased new 12x12 tile. Well, at appointment time the technician was expecting to repair a section of tile and I didn't have any tile matching the existing. So, on the fly purchased 4x4 tile that is like the existing. Decided to replace the tile for the entire wall and it looks good. I'm a fan! and will keep House Doctors in mind for future repairs, maybe do an onsite review for any larger repairs.

Painter is here now and finding multiple other spots that need repair or replacement because he is up on a ladder looking. House Doctors was expensive and in my opinion not very thorough. Very disappointed in results.
