He also made us aware that our water heater is too big to take through the doorway if it ever needs to be replaced, and that a wall would have to come down to get it out. It's something a contractor did 10 years ago when he constructed a kitchen near it and didn't consider the water heater size that he was closing in. The one thing I did not appreciate is that when I called to schedule, I spoke with an AI agent. I understand some businesses use these, but what I didn't like was that I was not told I was speaking to an AI agent. It sounded so realistic at first until I caught on, which made me feel a little silly for attempting to be friendly and make conversation with what turned out to be a robot. And after that whole call, a real person had to call back anyway to confirm a few details. She was super helpful, so I was left wondering why I even had to go through the AI ordeal. Everything from there was awesome. On the morning of my visit, I received a text with rhe plumber's picture and some of his interests and facts about him, as well as his ETA to my home. He was very friendly and wore covers over his shoes. I was very nervous and upset about the water leak and wanted lots of information, which he was patient to share with me. He called me back to the room to explain what he found and my options. He was helpful, moving my toilet to a place where it would be out of the way and taking care to close up the area for my family's safety while I pursued next steps to avoid water damage. I'm grateful for Tyson's great work and helpful demeanor through this experience! After the visit, I needed a plumbing report to send to my home insurance for a claim. Their office staff was able to quickly email me the plumber's notes and photos. I will definitely call Blue Chip again. I hope they reconsider the use of the AI agent or at least have it announce itself before you speak to it so you are aware. But the actual plumbing work and professionalism is great.

The gentleman quoted me $1,695 in labor, as all the parts would be reused just refitted. I left work early, drove down there, disassembled, cleaned, and refitted them myself in 45 minutes. Duke came out inspected and turned the gas on. $1,695 for 45 minutes of work is disgraceful. You are taking advantage of people. I will be watching and reporting if you try to take my review down.
