Food was pretty good but could have been a little bit better. I got a medium cheese pizza with ranch. The ranch was average but did the trick. Service took a little bit but in the end it was fine. I use to love this place, however their delivery options are less than I would recommend. I ordered a thin crust pie, when they didn't show up an hour later, I called again, I reiterated the order, and they assured me that the driver is on his way. It would be here within 10 to 15 minutes. When he showed up my pie was not thin crust, I called and spoke with management and he said they didn't offer thin crust. I reiterated that I had order a thin crust and would like a refund and to return the pie. The manager was not helpful and told me to just enjoy the pie that I had and be happy. Wow!!!! Surprised to see this place get 4 stars. The soups taste and look canned. The meat sauce was ok. Some of the other sauces seemed full of preservatives for the ingredients, and it was seasoned with salt on top of that which made it so salty it was almost unpalatable. Garlic bread was good. This is the best Italian place here. We always get a pizza from here during our stay in Ormond Beach. The pizzas are very large and we always have left overs. The Feta salad is excellent also. Tried the Tiramisu and was not disappointed!!! read more

I ran in and got some take out from here while staying on Ormond Beach. The food was not as good as the reviews stated. The sauce was awful watery and didn't taste good at all. I ended up throwing out the Frutta di Mare and just having some cheese and crackers in the hotel room. I will be back in the area soon but will not be stopping in here again. read more

The first pizza we ordered came out , it was very wet and runny from the veggies, so much so that the waitress said she wouldn't have eaten it. Ordered a bunch of stuff to share family-style with others. Ordered the Cafe Combo pizza, Chicken Fettucine Alfredo, Penne Amatriciana, garlic bread w/ cheese, meatball marinara, and a vegetarian salad. Salad was very fresh with sliced peppers, onions, olives, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, and a ton of different cheeses. Garlic bread could have had more cheese on it, but not bad. Loved the meatballs marinara and used the bread to sop up all that good gravy. Both pastas were bomb and the pizza was overflowing with toppings. While we did carryout, some of it didn't travel very well, and we should probably warmed everything up before we dug in. Oh well, too hungry for all that. read more

On Tuesdays, the restaurant offers two free toppings on pizza. My niece doesn't eat toppings so we asked for the toppings to only be put on half the pizza. The waitress said if we wanted it on only half, we had to pay for the toppings; if we wanted the toppings for free, it needed to be put on the whole pizza. We come every year for the races and with all the rain we decided to try a new pizza place. There are no shortage of ones to try in the area but we got lucky and picked a gem. Went about 8pm on Friday night and looked like the dinner rush was dying down but still a good amount of pick up orders. Wait staff were all nice and helpful. Garlic bread with mozzarella was yummy and we got a large pep and sausage pizza. I knew it was going to be good because as soon as I took a slice off the pan it didn't droop. I am shocked I haven't reviewed Genovese's before. This has been my favorite Pizza place that delivers to our place in Ormond by the Sea. I normally order a feta salad with creamy Italian dressing, an order of Meatballs and a pizza. The salad is their version of a Greek Salad. The meatball app gives you 2 giant meatballs, The taste amazing and have an amazing sauce. I love the crust and we normally get a simple pizza, cheese, basil and sauce. Last night we got in and saw a storm was coming in. I ordered online for delivery. It said it would take around an hour and a half. Well 35 minutes later the driver called to let me know he was outside. This is always a winner! read more

We had a normal cheese, a meat one and i made mine with banana peppers and bacon. The crust is GREAT, good flavor, good thickness and crisp. The sauce was good.. the cheese good... everything pizza related good. Get yourself some of this pizza and enjoy it! Can't really say much more. they have some beers on tap and others bottled. pricing was average for the area. The service was average, but we were there in the middle of the afternoon so it was a bit of an odd time. Just a bit slower than I anticipated. We ordered the Cafe Combo Pizza, Chicken Fettucine Alfredo , Veal Parmesan and Margherita Pizza. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful and filling!The large pizza is more than enough for 4 people and the small is great for 2. I really wanted to like the pizza from Genovese's on Granada in Ormond Beach Fl. After reading the mixed reviews I decided to give them a try. I ordered a large pepperoni and a Sicilian Venetian. The pepperoni was good but the Sicilian was disturbingly undercooked. The dough of the crust was gummy after about the first eighth of an inch. I currently have it in the oven in attempt to be able to eat it but I really don't believe that should be my responsibility. I did call the restaurant and ask to speak to a manager but to no avail. Really disappointing as I was hoping it could become my go to. I guess my search must continue. read more

Unfortunately being in Florida at this time of year is off-season and most places close at nine be aware of that. He did finally get to Genevieve say ordered a large pizza half pepperoni half mushroom. You'll be happy to know that his hand tossed crust and good cheese and sauce. The mushrooms a lot better than the pepperoni. We really enjoy the food. The girl behind the counter needed a little touch up on her customer service skills but all in all if you want pizza head over there. I really didn't like this place and I feel bad for it. Everyone there is extremely nice. They definitely give you a lot of food. They put a lot of sauce on your food which is good. My downfall with this place is that it just didn't taste well. The "garlic bread" isn't garlic at all or whatever bread I got with my meal. The meatballs were lacking in flavor and the sauce. The chicken was extremely dry. The soup wasn't something I would order again either The tiramisu was really good though.
