Completely disappointed in customer service. Tia and Tish were completely unhelpful and condescending twits as they had their phones turned off and put me in a tough position as I was to pick up pizzas for a party and could not get through since the phones needed to be "reset" and did not return my calls, I had to wait for my order 30+ minutes and was offered $5 off a $100 order and then treated as if I was the problem!! For an Italian type sports bar they really have the best taco Tuesdays in town. Wednesday they have spaghetti right now for only 5 bucks and it's a pretty good size most of the time. Last time I was at Genos the spaghetti portion wasn't that great. So it's hit or miss with Wednesday happy hour specials. Day bartender lady is really great at paying attention to customers but the younger girl never pays attention to new customers and favors regulars so expect to wait a while to get a drink even if you are sitting at the bar. You'll end up waving your hands allot like you're in class just trying to get a teachers attention. She's too busy talking and gossiping from what I could hear instead of doing her job. Really hard for me to tip bad service. Other than her the rest of the staff is wonderful. Also there are lots of tvs for sports but service is really slow if you're sitting at a table. It's nice inside for a sports bar, and clean. Like a said though, your portion size is not always the same as the last. read more

First off think you should start off by remodeling the place. Looks nasty and dirty when you walk in. Took the bartender 20 mins to finally bring us our drinks. Ordered the chips and cheese as an appetizer, bartender forgot and brought them out but the cheese was cold. We got to Genos a lot. Gresham has very VERY limited food options and Genos is fine. We really like waitress Tia. She recognizes us and is always so friendly and helpful. The food is meh. Some days its great, other days just ok. Some advice to the place: You need off menu specials. The menu is limited and needs some variety. Although I go there often, I am always staring at the menu, wishing there was more. A rotating beer tap would be amazing. The selection is ok now, but huge improvements could be made with an expanded rotating tap. Also, please provide more help on busy game days or weekends. Some days it is dead and the extra help is not needed. But on days that its slammed, having only one or two girls running around trying to make everyone happy is not fair for anyone involved. read more

Don't go to this place!! Live down the street, been in 3 times, take out three times. While dining things were fine, food was slow everytime but the last time the bartender, who i will get to later, comped my drink for the slow service. The first take out, ordered 15 wings, got 12 and 10 of them were drumlets, 2 wings, called, they made me another order, without hesitation, second take, cold nachos, didn't call, third take out, ordered 15 wings again, received 13 drumlets and 2 wings. Called when I got home, only to be rudely talked to and hung up on my whoever was bartending that night. I asked him aren't the wings supposed to be half and half and he replied with yeah but it doesn't always happen, sometimes they just grab 15 and throw them in, so i ask if it's true they lack consistency and he agreed that the kitchen does. So I asked for another side, on them since they messed up my order and he hung up on me. Said he couldn't comp anything for me as this wasn't a kitchen mess up, just an opinionated one...I will find out who was bartending in 5/13/2018 and make sure his ass knows how to treat a returning customer, a returning one even after several mishaps. There are a lot of stinky places to eat/dine in Gresham, but this isn't one of them. Yes, it is a sports bar and you can order "bar food". Yes, it can be noisy. Yes, the decor isn't special (it's a sports bar). If you want linen and atmosphere, go to the City Grill. Otherwise see Geno's for what it is: a sports bar with very good food, pretty darn good service and GREAT PIZZA. read more

Overpriced for what you get. I live close and have several friends who like Genos. I just don't get it people rave about the nachos when they are clearly just packaged chips with cheese melted over top and jalapeño slices. I could make better at home. I've had there sandwiches, burgers, and pizza. None of it was that great and I could get it cheaper and better else where. You also really have to work to get the bartenders attention as they are usually talking amongst each other ignoring you or hitting on patrons. They don't look at you twice unless you tip big up front or they want to hit on you. As I've stated I have a few friends who really enjoy this place but I have a low tolerance for crap service paired with subpar food and watered down drinks so if you're like me steer clear. read more

This is a great restaurant. I had a delicious taco pizza. And we had the best waitress ever. The best I Have ever met. For example she was so helpful when I needed help with the new tablets they have and she took it very seriously and took the most time she could. Then when I left I forgot my left overs I was just walking out of the door I remembered and turned around to go get the pizza and she came running out with it in her hands saying YOU FOGOT YOUR PIZZA! And she handed it to me. She had pretty hair and was very nice if you read this and you went to There you would now who she was. Great costumer service. I rate 5 stars by far. read more

Geno's grill is a mess that's been severely neglected. The owner doesn't care, the employees don't care, and theirs no management. Geno's is not a good place to eat or work, speaking from experience on both ends there. There are a very small handful of employees that care enough about customer service to try, the rest just spend their time gossiping and giving sub par service. The place is also dirty- in many places only an employee would see. I had a hard time keeping my mouth shut, but sometimes you just need to keep your head down and work for the money. There were many times there that I was bullied for no reason, and respected or given credit for my work ethic. Eventually my work ethic DID begin to dwindle just because of the negative environment. I'm a good worker, with great references and experience in high-end dining, but I guess that didn't matter to them. All that mattered was the next rumor to spread. Don't bother with Geno's- food is low quality and overpriced, and the employees will not give you much of their attention. read more

I live nearby Geno's and frequent it a good bit during football season as the wait staff is always welcoming and friendly and the food is not bad for bar food. Although a little overpriced, I would recommend the pizza myself. The reason why I am giving one star is that I stopped in last night to watch the NCAA Championship game and (as expected), it was pretty busy. I seated myself as there was no host in site. After being seated for some time and not greeted I looked around and saw that there was only two people serving in the entire restaurant, one working the bar and another working the rest of the entire restaurant. Seeing how completely overwhelmed the wait staff was I felt really bad for the people working there despite receiving horrible service. I asked to speak to the manager, but was told they were not there and that this kind of understaffing is pretty common. Having worked in the service industry, I found it unbelievable that management would only schedule two people to service everyone in the restaurant during a major sports event, and that they didn't even think it was important enough to be on site either. The server in the dining room was trying to juggle 20+ tables at one time. Pretty shameful for a place with a lot of potential. read more

We did order the take out a tad late at night around 9pm but considering they were open much later we didn't think anything of it. We walk in to pick up the food and it was so dead in there! Like not even one patron! Bad sign. Took a bit for the bartender to come out and take our card/give us our food. The whole experience was awkward. Got home and the gyros were on tortillas!! i went in with a groupon..never have been there, so thought i would try it out. first off when we walked in there was a guy there staring at his phone so i thought he was just some random dude, so we decided to sit in the bar. Then he comes over and wipes down our table and tells us he was the manager..Eventually a server came over and took our order..we ordered a drink and 2 chicken salads...we eventually got our drinks but the salad took at least 20 minutes..and it was 9pm at night..horrible service..we made the mistake of ordering a second drink before our movie, we should have know when we had to actually go hunt her down and order it..after 10 minutes of waiting for a drink the manager came over and asked us if we needed anything( a little late) we asked if we could either get our drinks that we already ordered or cancel..of course she had not made them yet so we cancelled..long story short...horrible, horrible service !! This place is to die for the Mrs and I had them delivered. We split their order of beer battered onion rings, they were so crisp and flavor full. I had their 10" taco pizza it's what a taco pizza should be. The crust was crisp like a taco and the bean sauce has just a lite zest to it making it taste amazing. My wife had the 10" Alfrado pie which looked so good. Nice crisp crust and generous on the toppings. she said it was the best she's had in a long time. We used to go there a lot but I after several experiences of terrible service, we quit going. The straw that broke the camel's back was when we sat down at a table and were ignored for 25 minutes. We used to go often years ago and decided to give it another try for a group of friends and what a huge waste of time! We showed up since the TV and seating is first come first serve...had people there at 11:30 for a 1:30 game (2 different games) we were assured both games on big screens and were denied one of the two once the games started. We were given a small tv with crap reception. When I received my drink (a coffee nudge) it was cold and asked that it be warmed up. We asked why we didn't have the games on since we came early and were assured our games would be on and were told 4 times the manager would be over to talk to us....that never happened. When the waitress came to take our order she asked what we would like to order then before we could give our order ran over to give a hug to some male customer that came in. Then since the service was terrible we decided to eat after the game....elsewhere and they charged an 18% gratuity. Never going back. Limited to 500 characters. read more
