We have tried their food multiple times now at the Ballard Farmers Market. We have gotten Sambusa's from Geni's multiple times, the last couple times we have also gotten the Pasteis de Nata too. We love both the Sambusa and the Pasteis de Nata.

Amazing food and great owners! A regular stop at the farmer's market! The food is so flavorful, and a decent quantity. The green chutney is quite nice as well, make sure you add it! The chai has interesting aromatics that are different from Indian masala chai, so that was interesting to taste. In the summer they have rosemary lemonade which is good too. The owners are very nice, one week they gave me free samples even though I already had food from another stall! Good people just trying to spread the love of great food!!

**vegetarian review** I went to Geni's in ballard farmers market. It comes highly recommended from a friend so i had to try it. I got the veggie option - which had 2 sides and one injera. Its. really delicious - i think i havent been to a bad ethiopian place ever. The only thing is its quite expensive, even for seattle area. I have been to other local restaurants which are substantially cheaper, so it didnt feel like worth the money. I understand however, the increasing price for ingredients etc farmers market location etc playing its roll, so I would still recommend trying it if you are in the market.

The taste is ok Beef sauce good soaked in oil But I never figure out why this costs 15 Not enough for an adult

    Meat entree

Had the food at the farmers market yesterday 7/14/24). Food was very tasty but the portion size is a complete rip-off. Meat entree was $16 for 5 little chunks of chicken and a couple pieces of potato with the anjera bread. Super disappointed. Oh also, don't forget to add tax and tip, so this portion could Mrs to about $20. I know prices are high at a farmers market but C'mon!

Amazing Ethiopian food. Their tibs plate is one of my favorite lunches in Seattle. That and their lentils are a little spicy, which I love!

There are loads of toppings to choose from, too, but the young man serving up the dogs recommended just plain for the first time to really get the classic experience. I think some light mustard and maybe some saurkraut would have been a great addition. Friendly service and good recommendations for a first-timer, though. Then outside the Clink after a game. It was an elusive Seattle street food treat- and in a lot of ways still is. They've expanded in recent years so sometimes you can find them at Microsoft campuses on occasion too. So if you're craving a Seattle Dog on a random Tuesday at 8:30pm for example... high tail it to the Thunderbird and get you one! Especially on a warm Summer evening: a Seattle dog with extra slaw, a glass of your favorite cold drink and a spot on the back patio - doesn't that sound so good right now?! And while plenty of vendors are more style than substance, the market is home to plenty of gems. A good bet is to follow the crowds, and few places boast the popularity of Daily Dozen Donut Company. This frill-free donut-ery has been around for nearly 50 years, and plenty of locals will admit it to be a guilty pleasure. Find Daily Dozen on the top floor of the Economy Market building at the southernmost end of Pike Place proper. Push your way through the crowd watching fish-slingers to find the fast-moving line of donut-craving customers. As you wait, you will pass Daily Dozen's signature "donut robot" mechanical conveyor belt, plopping dough balls one-by-one into an oversized ceramic bowl. Staff members shake paper bags of piping hot donuts to the beat of classic rock. My fiancee and I visited Pike Place on a weekend, and Daily Dozen was on our hit list. After a 15-minute wait, we excitedly ordered a half-dozen Cinnamon Donuts and a single Maple Bacon Donut. The ping pong-sized cinnamon-dusted donut holes were piping hot; I burned my mouth in ravenous delight. The light, crispy texture was reminiscent of funnel cake. They far exceeded the frosted, room-temperature maple bacon donut hole. The staff efficiently churned through the line that loops around the corner. A half-dozen sugar donuts retails for $6.50, and the additional maple bacon one was a $1. While the latter wasn't worth the appetite (much less the cost), the bagful of fresh donuts was a simple pleasure that would be worth a visit for any donut-lover.
