Each of their sauteed meals come with either egg drop or hot and sour soup, which are classics. We got their egg drop and it comes with carrots and peas, which was a nice touch that adds more depth to traditional egg drop soups. We would for sure stop here again if we find ourselves in Baytown again.

Ambiance was spacious and inviting with lots of tables and booths and someone greeting you with a smile as you walk in. Our waitress was very nice and attentive from start to finish and gave excellent recommendations. We ordered appetizers; pork pot stickers and green onion pancake, soooo good! The pot stickers came with black vinegar and the pancake with sweet chili sauce. I recommend double dipping the pancake in the black vinegar and then the sweet chili sauce, it's chef's kiss! Our entrees were sesame chicken and double cooked pork. The sesame was crispy and saucy (but not overly sauced) on the outside with juicy white meat chicken on the inside. It had a couple of pieces of cold broccoli which was refreshing between bites. Very delightful dish! The double cooked pork was actually thinly sliced pork belly and cooked and rendered so well with lots of veggies. Both came with rice or up charge for fried rice. Excellent food and experience we won't just DoorDash anymore but drop in when we have the time!

The drive-thru can be very long and slow around rush hour so I'd consider calling it and picking it up. We particularly love the dinner portion of the General Tso's chicken which comes with two large scoops of fried rice and a LOT of chicken. It isn't too sweet and it isn't too spicy. It is just right. I was full after eating about half and had lunch the next day! This re-heats very well in the microwave. We also love the lo mein and the pepper steak even if the pepper to steak ratio is way off. I don't exactly feel as if I get my monies worth with the pepper steak. I wouldn't order this again as the "steak" part wasn't plentiful enough. The ladies at the drive-thru are always extremely friendly and we've never been handed the wrong order. They greet us with a smile and it is very nice after a long day. Highly recommended!

I ordered the sesame chicken with white rice, veggie eggroll, and wonton soup. The wonton soup was the best broth I've ever had at an American Chinese restaurant, it was similar to miso soup but with wontons in it. The sesame chicken came with big pieces of chicken lightly battered and covered in a sweet sauce. The bf ordered kung pao chicken which was slightly spicy as always, he gave the whole experience 5 stars. Would recommend this place if you're hankering for American Chinese food.

I felt bad but it was so unsanitary. For starters. The servers are on their phones eating while serving and allllll touching the same disgusting door to enter and exit the kitchen. You can see so many nasty splatter marks on the door I was appalled. The chef (what I assume) then walked out. Used the restroom with an apron on, and then when I seen him remove it he was covered in paint covered clothing as if he just left a drywall job. I didn't take any photos unfortunately. I wish I wore my meta glasses to show you just how. Haptic and nasty it was

**This is a 3.5 star review based on a to-go order.**…read more I'm a sucker for old school Americanized Chinese food, and this place hit the spot on a recent Tuesday. I don't get across the bridge very often, but I knew that this joint is a beloved local dive with good food. So I took the bait and experienced quick, accurate, and polite service. This place is not expensive, but I'm still not used to paying over $10 for lunch. (My problem. Not the restaurant's.) The egg rolls here are decent. I'm willing to bet that they aren't rolled in-house, since they aren't the short, fat versions that are overstuffed with cabbage. The fried rice is average, but fine. The General Tso's Chicken is seasoned very nicely and came out hot and fresh. My only issue is they actually use white meat! This is actually a great thing for 99% of the population, but I'm a dark meat guy. Finally, the hot and sour soup here is way above average, with velvety strands of egg, crunchy bamboo shoots, fresh mushrooms and a broth that someone actually gave some attention to. If I lived or worked around the corner, I'd very likely be the Yelp Duke of this place. Their recipes are really solid, and the service is spot on.
