Coconut Donut, Mixed Berries Donut, Marshmallow Chocolate Donut

The cafe is designed to enjoy the surroundings because it's a beautiful spot. Lots of space, pretty interior and decor. Although there weren't many donuts selections. The taste of the donuts were alright. And because there weren't many donuts to choose from, the cafe felt empty and the service felt cold. Didn't try its coffees but will try them next time.

Such a charming little spot! I ordered a soy latte which was great. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. The shop itself is also adorable with a cute and relaxing vibe that's perfect for a coffee break or catch-up with friends. I'd say it's one of my favorite stops in the area, and the only downside is that parking could be challenging.

The vanilla bean custard donut is incredible. 10/10 no notes. Rich vanilla flavor and smooth custard. The dough was fresh and the sugar on top went well with bread and filling. The strawberry rhubarb was very flavorful. A little too strong for me but I can see the appeal, especially if you love rhubarb.

We came across General Porpoise while walking home one day and decided to stop in. It's a very elegant little corner coffee and donut shop. They've got a nice little cafe, servers with smiles, some local roasted bags of coffee to choose from, as well as their delightful donuts. The donuts have a slight crisp to them, almost like a croissant, and the filling was so smooth, but not overly sweet. I don't think I've ever had a donut quite like it in my life, but it was for sure one of the better donuts I've had. Can't wait for my next visit!

Very cute spot for a quick dessert bite. Staff was kind enough to give some recommendations and I ended up trying the vanilla custard. Pastries looked delicious and unfortunately I only got to try the vanilla custard. I'm from NY but whenever I visit Seattle again, I would come back and try other flavors. I would also recommend to anyone who is visiting Seattle as well.

This was recommended by a friend who lives out here. The iced coffee, lattes, and americano were all incredible. Super delicious. The donuts quite unique and incredibly delicious. A little on the pricey side; but well worth it.

The General Porpoise made me so happy! The restaurant is bright and beautiful. Staff were so friendly, even brining me out ingredients to check for my dye allergy. The donuts and matcha were delicious! Great location near the ferries as well as Pikes Place and the aquarium.

This is a very cute coffee spot. Coffee was good. Staff was nice. Was visiting the area and wanted to try the donuts and yum! That and the coffee was excellent. Wish I had found it sooner so I could have gone everyday

What a great little spot to stop in for coffee. The brown sugar lattes were amazing! They are located inside a space that also has a shop, so don't let that stop you from coming in. Also, they did just run out of donuts when we arrived late afternoon, so bear that in mind. Just love this spot!

We came here early in the morning so there was no wait. I ordered a matcha latte and it was delicious. The service was great in making sure to ask questions about the sweetness of syrups in the drink to make it right. It was quiet due to it being so early. I also got a pistachio pastry that was nice and fluffy. The filling was delicious and was not too sweet. Only down side is it is pretty pricey but that is normal pricing in the area.

General Porpoise is a mixed bag when I think about my experience every time I go. I got tempted when I saw their IG post about their strawberries & cream doughnut! The ambiance of the shop is really cute and Instagram-able, no doubt. Service is quick and easy, with no line going in at 9 AM in the morning. On to the doughnuts~ Let's start with the positive: these yeast-raised doughnuts are FLUFFY. It's what carries this rating. So pillowy with a satisfying chew. Definitely best texture for a doughnut! However... that's probably where the positivity ends unfortunately. You could tell from all the doughnuts from first glance the inconsistencies in quality. Even in my pic, the doughnuts are uneven. Glaze looks melted and doesn't cover the doughnuts evenly. And the amount of filling in these are a little sad... All that to say, didn't stop me from eating these. The best I ate was the maple bar! You get to enjoy the pillowy texture and the maple glaze complements it well. I honestly can't say this shop is among the best doughnuts Seattle has to offer. While the dough texture is stellar, there are some improvements that could be made... maybe my mind can be changed.

A delightful bakery and coffee shop in the middle of Pioneer Square. We had to wait about 20 minutes for Cowgirls down the street to open so we stopped in here and were delighted to see they also sold beer and wine. They were out of pastries as it was close to 2PM. I assured them that it's a good sign which means they're popular. I had a local canned beer while my wife had a mocha. The windows are very large and offer a spectacular view of the street and great for people watching. There is plenty of seating and even a separate dining room with sliding doors for privacy. As an added bonus, when we showed up there was a mini petting zoo in the lobby with bunnies and goats. There were several kids enjoying this treat. Overall, a fun experience. Glad to have found this location

This was the best espresso I had in Seattle. They had a single origin washed ethiopia, and the barista with the green glasses pulled it perfectly and knew what a one & one is. It was nice inside and had plenty of seating.

I ended up visiting the second time because of their very cool merch selection, and I regretted not buying a shirt I liked the first time. I only tried the espresso here, though they had many other tasty-sounding drinks and delicious-looking pastries. The espresso was not bitter, well-balanced, and at a great temperature. They serve it right with sparkling water on the side. Absolutely perfect! Out of all of the coffee spots in Seattle, Anchorhead Coffee is worth the visit for sure!

The employees are also friendly and helpful. Prices here are a bit steep, but drinks are high quality.

I first tried the turon matcha which I thought was good but had a mild banana flavor. I was expecting more of a caramelized flavor but I still thought it was good. The next day, I ordered the matcha einspanner. Their housemade yoka whip was so yummy and added the perfect amount of sweetness to the matcha latte. Overall, the matcha here is smooth and both drinks weren't too sweet.

We went around 11 in the morning, and it was PACKEDDDD. The inside was completely full, and there was even a line out the door, so I honestly didn't think our group of 4 would find seating. The line moved really fast tho, and we managed to grab one of the viet style low table and chair setups that you'd typically see on the street back home, I liked it a lot. The drinks and food also came out surprisingly quickly despite how busy it was. We ordered a lot to try! Drinks: 1 phe muoi $6.75 1 matcha einspanner $8.75 1 earl grey matcha $9 1 banana pudding matcha latte $11 1 hojicha latte $6.50 Their matcha was smooth, no astringency, I wished it was more matcha taste bc it's a little light but that's just me bc I like umami matcha. Food: Phe Sliders $13 MUSTTTT GET!! My group absolutely devoured these. The rolls were soft and airy, and somehow the sliders still felt light and not too heavy. The aioli was sooooo yum we scrape every bits of it lolllll. I'd honestly come back just for this dish alone. xoi chay $15- Really good breakfast option. The sticky rice was soft and chewy, and all of the toppings came together really well. Easily my new favorite spot.
