Tried a single donut. It was okay but lacked flavor in my opinion. It tasted like sweet cake that's been fried in oil that had an even sweeter glaze on the outside. I can't tell what flavor it's supposed to be. I'm glad it's not too sweet but it was very plain. IDK maybe the other varieties would be better. They say it's organic if you are paying attention to that. Not as smooth or sweet as Krispy Kreme but also not as greasy. Not as good as my all-time fav -dunkin. I could taste there was a small hint of yeast maybe. I wouldn't go out of my way to get a box, but that's just me.

Cinnamon and Sugar donut and a latte!

This is a great location to get Seattles Best donuts and coffee. It's right near Seattles Convention center. Its walking distance to the Seattle art museum, cruise boats, pike place market. It's now on the G bus line so it's an easy stop. They are only open Monday thru Friday since downtown is not that busy on the weekends. Go here for a box of yummy organic specialty donuts. They are one of Seattles first operating over 25 years!

I visited Mighty-O Donuts on a recommendation from a friend. They offer vegan, organic donuts that come in a variety of flavors. I was pleased to see that they had so much to choose from. These weren't just typical flavors either. I limited myself to just two so I eventually decided on a blueberry cream cheese and a lemon poppyseed. The service was exceptional. The woman working the counter asked me about my weekend plans. She made suggestions for hiking (when I told her we planned a hike) and talked to me about T-Mobile Park (when I suggested I might catch a Mariners game). She wished me well on my day. Total, pleasant experience. The donuts are not the light, airy ones I grew up with. They are the cake variety donuts. These are fine, they were done well, but they aren't my favorite. I thought the blueberry cream cheese had nice flavor without being overpowering (some vegan cream cheese is too much!). The lemon poppyseed had a subtle lemon flavor. Neither was too sugary tasting. I thought the price of these donuts were on par with other vegan donuts I've had in other cities and even some non vegan ones my family enjoyed in Seattle. Considering that they are organic and plant based, that seemed like a win in my book.

Some of the best vegan donuts I've ever had. So good. The place is tiny and not much room to dine in, but a Seattle staple. I bought some little donuts for breakfast the next day and they held up well and still tasted fresh! Hope to go back one day!

The coffee and the donuts were on point. Went with a group and got a few donuts, we all split them trying a few flavors. Nothing was disappointing. The coffee was also super fresh and so so good! I'd suggest stopping by. The area is good, but lady's keep your purses in front of you. Seattle ain't what it use to be :(

Ethan has been an amazing barista! And Caitlin also I have had so many interactions with her and she has such a warm and welcoming presence. Mighty has been go-to for the last 1 year and I love everything about it- donuts here are my most favorite

Friday Donuts!

After walking by Mighty-O Donuts multiple times while working in the downtown area, it was time to celebrate Friday with a few treats for the day and to enjoy with a lazy Saturday morning coffee. A bit of a line , but it moved fast, service was great, filling orders of donuts and coffees fast and friendly. The donuts are organic, sustainable, and fair trade, maybe helps alleviate a little guilt for the indulgence? Lol I was hoping they had some gluten free options for one of my coworkers, but no luck. The shop itself is set on the corner of the street, with options to sit inside, very comfortable and inviting. My choices for the visit, which was challenging, cause they all looked so yummy! The peanut butter chocolate, blueberry fritter, French toast, and devils playground. All proved to be delicious choices ( of course! Their donuts!!) a little breakdown, the peanut butter chocolate had plenty of chocolate flavor, could have been a little more peanut butter taste, for balance, but still delicious. The French toast was so good.. plenty of cinnamon and maple syrup flavor, great with coffee! The blueberry fritter.. lots of organic flavorful blueberries and frosting, a filling and tasty fritter. And the devils playground... chocolate donut, chocolate frosting, and rainbow sprinkles... a playground of chocolate decadence... truly Nom nom nom worthy. Mighty O has locations throughout the Seattle area, well worth a stop by for some great donuts and friendly service. Happy Yelping and dunking! Cheers!

So many options!

It might be Monday but donut worry! Mighty-O is nearby for your morning or afternoon pick-me-up. :) Recently opened on 2nd Avenue, Mighty-O brings a fun variety of tasty donuts to office goers in the area. The shop is bright and clean with a colorful display that showcases all the flavors that are available. So far I've tried the Grasshopper and Lemon Poppyseed, which were at complete opposite sides of the flavor spectrum (chocolately vs. light and citrusy). I've always had great service when I've gone - the last time I went, they even had a few mini donut samples available for customers to try. Did you know that you can preorder your donuts online for in-store pick-up? So convenient! It's almost dangerous that Mighty-O is nearby - it's way too easy for me to swing by on my way to work. :)

Fresh donuts galore! Newly opened location

Bright newest location of Mighty-O downtown! On a sunlit corner of 2nd and Madison. Gleaming pastry case featuring solid line-up of handcraft vegan donuts. Loved the French toast ($3.25), the lemon poppyseed was a hit as well and chocolate peanut butter if you've got a sweet tooth! Donuts run $2.50-$3.25 each, with a variety dozen running $25.50. Current seasonal donut is the Ginger Spice - molasses & ginger spice cake, coated in ginger sugar. Serves Caffe Vita ftw.

I love how the doughnut is a chunky-looking rectangle very reminiscent of a poptart! Special- Raspberry filled- covered with a generous amount of powdered sugar on top and filled perfectly. And then a coffee doughnut which has coffee-flavored icing. The icing is very sweet and the sugar overpowers the coffee flavor. Mighty-O Donuts seems to be one of the few vegan donut shops that actually tries to make yeast…read moredonuts - most places are cake only. We decided to drop by after eating lunch in the area for a sweet treat afterwards, then ended up picking up a whole dozen... Some notes for a couple that I tried: Maple Bar ($4.99) - Hmm.. Not that fluffy or light. Instead or being airy, it's more dense and has a kind of springy chew. The glaze is sweet and gives off a heavy maple fragrance, an indication they use real maple syrup in the glaze. Maple bars from other places are usually disgustingly sweet with basically no maple flavor - this one is sweet but more well balanced. I think the texture is definitely different from a typical yeast donut. I wonder if it's just because it more difficult to make vegan yeast donuts vs cake donuts? It's a different type of yeast donut, but still very good. (4/5) Chocolate Peanut Butter ($4.45) - Good peanut butter flavor in both the topping and glaze. I think the donut base is also peanut butter but it could be contamination from the glaze. The base isn't very sweet and is kind of almost savory in flavor. The donut is dense but not crumbly and instead very moist. Not really crusty, so not too much textural difference. I think it's baked rather than fried. Still very sweet. (4/5) Devils Playground ($4.45) - The donut base is dense with rich chocolate flavor, and coated with a chocolate ganache of just the right thickness. I hate it when donuts just have a smear of topping to make the donut look attractive, but does barely anything flavor wise. This one, on the other hand, is richly flavored. (4/5) Chocolate Raspberry ($3.65) - This is my favorite, same chocolate cake donut base as above but with bright berry notes and specks of seeds. The tangy berries do wonders to temper down some of the sweetness. (5/5) French Toast ($3.65) - My least favorite by far. Covered with peanuts (which is fine), but the cake donut base or perhaps the glaze tastes heavily earthy, like an overload of cinnamon and nutmeg. (2/5) People who expect the exact same texture as a non-vegan donut, both the cake and yeast types, will probably be disappointed. If I just think of these donuts as their own thing, they're actually quite good. There's another donut shop that I prefer down the street, but Mighty-O Donuts certainly isn't a bad choice for a sweet treat.

I tried the passionfruit creme brulee donut, and though a bit pricey ($6), it was worth the money. The top of the donut had that perfect creme brulee torched top, and the passion fruit inside was perfectly tangy, which offset the fattiness from the donut itself. It wasn't very sweet, but I kinda liked that. The other flavors on the menu also looked great. I hear they rotate their menu often. There is nowhere to sit here, so be prepared to take your donuts to go. The shop does sell some beverages, like water or milk, to help you get in the donut mood. The service on my visit was fine.
