Went there for a back and foot massage. The sign said deep tissue massage and acupressure. I requested deep tissue. The masseuse didn't know anything about acupressure. I should've read other low reviews. He pressed very hard on my back and not on any pressure points. Didn't release my spine at all. He didn't understand you start light and work into deep, so he had no sense of touch. Evident he had no training whatsoever. The foot massage drilled into my arch, but didn't do anything on the balls of my feet or my heels. I actually had a heel issue, but there was no mention or questioning if I had any issues. Foot massage was worthless. They obviously addressed the comments about the front desk, he was very nice and polite. Demanding a minimum $15 tip on a $60 massage seems over the top. Not sure what there is to like here but maybe others have different experiences. read more

They take walk-ins so I was able to get a foot massage right away. Massages are done in a large open room which is darkened, but be prepared to be disturbed when new clients walk in or leave as some people can be noisy. My masseur was OK, not great, I had read good reviews about him but he was gruff and his massage did not target specific points on the foot so it was not technically reflexology. Before I went into the room the man at the desk told me to tip my masseur inside, which I did, and then I was asked if I tipped the masseur when I paid, a little overkill. Maybe people have been disappointed and didn't tip so they make sure you do, which is fair but they should train their masseurs better and they won't have to ask twice. It was OK but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again. read more

I hardly ever write reviews but feel compelled to do so in the hopes that others don't have my experience. I selected the one hour foot massage. My guy literally slept for 75% of the massage. He would fall asleep with my foot in his hand, at one point he was lightly snoring. I kept looking around in disbelief. I would have walked out and left but didn't want to disturb my husband who was there with me. Then at the end, after sleeping for 75% of my treatment, the guy asked me for his tip. He was so pushy. I felt very awkward. I gave him a 20% tip and he was very clearly disappointed and super rude about it. This place was such an unpleasant experience. read more

The photos do it no justice. I've now been here twice. I came as a girls trip with my aunt and sister (we set appointments ahead of time) today i went on a whim and walked in mid morning on a Thursday & was seen right away. I've been having the worse pain in the balls of feet for months now so i figured this couldn't hurt to try. I came in and skipped the back massage and went straight for the feet. 110% worth it, i loved every second of my service and was actually falling asleep. So, here it goes... Scheduling the appointment was fine and the woman who helped me was easy to understand and very nice. Upon arrival we checked in for our 90 minute foot/leg/neck & back appointment only to find that this does not include a foot soak so we added on. Weird. They have you pay first, which is also weird but no biggie. It's just that if you decide to add on a service you're paying again. We were then taken to the next room where all the chair-beds are located. It's one large room, which is fine. I immediately noticed THERE WERE ONLY MALE attendants available; I'm intentionally not using the term masseuse because there's no way my guy was a masseuse. With the neck/back/arms service you first sit on an ottoman and soak your feet in a large bucket type thing. The entire time that's happening your legs are pressed against the edge of the bucket and it's pretty uncomfortable. My attendant was not good at all; his hands were rough and a nail or something kept scratching me. The worst though is that he was coughing a phlemgy cough and sucking what I assume was snot up through his nose, like he needed to blow it. This lasted the entirety of the service. I could actually feel the cough on my feet once I changed to the chair. The arm and hand massage included no lotion, oil or lubricant. Thank goodness it lasted only two minutes on each arm... You then move to the massage chair. Comfortable enough but instead of springing for a sheet or small blanket they cover you with a towel, two small towels on the leg that isn't being massaged. The massage was not good and he kept doing the same things though I did ask for him to please rub my heels and calves. Unfortunately he did not understand, apparently so that didn't happen . Bottom line is maybe choose another place, or take your chances and see how it goes for you. read more

Absolutely disappointed in my service. I requested a particular service and was given a different service. As I was hopeful during the service it would take a turn, it was over. Upon check out I informed the front desk lady of the service, informed her I did not receive what I requested (the man at the front desk also interrupted) meanwhile wanting to acquire the service I paid for they were quick to give me my money back (which is not what I was seeking)...what I was seeking was my request of a service I asked for. Sadly disappointed, I was hopeful they would provide quality service and assist me in getting the correct service but they were quickly say sorry, asked me to pay for an additional service and move on to the next customer. Wish this couple provided better quality service as it was their error. I was seeking relief, and all they gave me the difference in money back and poor service. read more

While many of the staff give great massages the atmosphere is bad. 1. They crowd everyone together even though there are empty tables a plenty. This means you hear and smell everything from the person next to you and I'm telling you it's often NOT PLEASANT. 2. They do nothing to control rude, obnoxious customers. They don't set expectations about not talking loudly, or that they will be woken up if they snore like a freight train, or that they will be asked to leave when being verbally abusive to their therapist. Bottom line - great massage for a fair price. But you will be listening to people complain that the pressure isn't good enough; you will be listening to people snore SUPER loudly and at times passing gas; and it is crowded because for some reason even if you request it and offer to pay more, they will not place you in a table away from others. Unfortunately, it's our neighbors here in Newport/Mesa making this place less than enjoyable. Shape up people! You're hurting a small business! read more

Great place to go for an easy 60 minute relaxation! The staff is good, the facility is nice and clean, and making an appointment was easy. The only drawback was the noise from the back room. Today was my first time visiting this spa. I told both the front and the guy doing the massage to please do most neck and shoulders. It was one hour of complete torture He mostly only worked on my back with such hard pressure I thought I was going to cry. The room is filled with people so I didn't want to be loud so I kept putting my hand up like please don't do this so hard He worked on my back and spine which was a little scary because he was pushing so hard. And would go down sides butt and legs he never did work on my neck and shoulders even when I kept pointing to them. Then he did my head like I was getting. a shampoo in a salon. When I went to leave I gave him cash and he held it up to the guy sitting next to him and shook his head I was really surprised when he did that. It was super rude and to be honest the massage was so bad I shouldn't have left him anything but I did give him $10 I guess he wasn't happy with that. So I don't think I will ever go back there again. Such a bummer because I was needing my neck and shoulders done so badly. But instead felt like I was beat up! read more

Sadly, I got lured in by the good reviews. The ambience is decent and the place was clean. The massage was horrible, at best. I refrained from walking out, but that was hard to do. The guy I got just kept rubbing lotion on my feet in the same place for an hour. He had no real massage skills, no knowledge of foot anatomy, and no reflexology skills. To make it worse, he sniffled the entire time. Gross Maybe it was allergies and not an illness, but for the costumer's peace of mind, please wear a mask rather than wiping your nose with your hands repeatedly and touching my feet. I immediately went to wash my own hands and then got a pedicure to wash my feet. I wish I had never gone. read more

Even though I mentioned it to the therapist and manager they denied and could care less. When a treatment starts at 12:55, and it is an hour long, you shouldn't be back in the lobby at 1:40. Gave several chances to continue to support a small business, but I will not be going back sadly- you want to walk away feeling good, not irritated- and in addition the therapist never touched the bottom of my feet, just me knee caps and top of foot, speak up if this happens to you. Im leaving this review because no one should ever go through a situation like this. I went to this place to get a combo massage this past Sunday and paid $65. I never imagined that instead of a moment of relaxation I was going to walk out of there with a horrible experience! During the massage, I could feel that the person (Bill) was a little out of place with the massage. I honestly feel his intentions where something else and not give me a clean and relaxing massage. And to confirm that Bill the person who was giving me the massage disappeared during the massage because he had to go to the restroom. Really? I find this disgusting and unprofessional! Once I walked out of there I told Leo the front desk person about how dissatisfied I had been with the massage and expressed my concerns. Leo was so rude and honestly did not care! After speaking to the owner which her name is Yu Fei He offered to return $10 and kept on making unnecessary remarks. He shut the door on my face and said the B" word. Please be careful If you go to this place. This place only cares about the money and it's a disgusting and dishonest place!!' First thing they ask when you walk in is do you have cash for the tip? I could choose the amount of pressure and the masseuse was very skilled. He found all the sore muscles and tendons on my feet and I felt very refreshed afterwards. I have been here many times. Good service at the reception. Massages are great. Each therapist has their own technique. Recommend you quietly advise your therapist the level of pressure and any sensitive spots you may have. I also wear noise canceling headphones. Everything is clean and comfortable. I asked them politely hey, I drove 20 minutes to get here, took time off work I want you to please give me the special since it IS on your website and if I like the massage I'm happy to pay full price when I come back. Always have a great experience. Recommend wearing ear buds as the place can be a little noisy but the massages never disappoint.
