I'm modifying my previous review. Since I bought this car, I've had to replace the plugs and coils, and perform a top engine flush at $1,946.00. Tires, brakes and wipers needed replaced at the time of sale, and I knew this, but I wanted high performance parts at a cost of $1,477.
At the time of test drive, I didn't notice that the suspension had failed. Literally, I feel every mother flipping bump in the rode, and the ass end of the car squats when you accelerate. Mechanic performed a full inspection of car, and noticed that the struts are shot. Estimate to replace $2,000 in parts, and $1,200 in labor. The CV boot is torn on both axles. Estimate to replace $500.
I feel taken advantage of because this dealership made sure to sell me something that needed so many repairs without a f*#&ing warranty of any kind. At this point, I guess the saying "I got f&*#ed at the used car lot" is applicable because did I ever. If only I could sue them, I sure as hell because it's complete bologna to sell someone a vehicle in need of so much.
I bit the cost of the previous repairs, but this is nuts. Warning: DON"T BUY ANYTHING FROM GEM RIDES. BEWARE IF YOU DO, TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC RIGHT AWAY AND INSIST ON A WARRANTY. TWO FACED!!!!!! read more
