I am late to review but I really wanted to say these girls were amazing! I called them for an appointment while I was in California visiting and they took us in last minute and the experience was amazing and so relaxing. They were sweet and let us choose a movie. I loved the vibe, when I visit my mom again, I will definitely be stopping by! They gave me everything I asked for and I loved how she cleaned up my nails after. Some nail salons leave you with the stuff and ugly but she cleaned up my nails after which I love!

I cannot say enough good things about this nail salon. The staff communicates if they are running behind and takes the time to really do a good job on your nails. There isn't anything they can't do. My pedicure was so relaxing and the massage was amazing. My nails came out so cute and so did my daughters. It is very quant nails salon which makes it very relaxing. I loved my experience there! They were all so kind and welcoming. They let me choose a show to watch, lol. I had an image of the nails I wanted and dm'd them on Instagram. They were quick to respond and took me in the same day. My nails came out so pretty. I feel the prices are very reasonable. They were very gentle, especially after I told them that it had been many years since I got a full set. My nail tech did it better than the picture I sent her, they both did a great job! I also got a pedicure with gel. The place is cozy. I wish they had a better chair for the pedicure because I was kinda fighting for my life to sit up, but other than that, the entire experience was lovely and I will continue to come here. I forgot to mention, they did a cute photoshoot after with my nails loll it was so fun read more

This review is long overdue! I came into Gemies Nails exactly a month ago, and the retention has been amazing. As someone who works in the service industry, scheduling appointments--and actually making it to them--is always a gamble, especially with nail salons where you never know how long services might take. Last month, my roommates and I decided to get our nails done last minute. I called, and they were able to accommodate all three of us and our requested services within the same hour. When we arrived, the ladies working were super welcoming and sweet. They even let us choose a movie to watch during our services, which was such a nice touch. Jade was my nail tech, and what really stood out was how she took the time to explain everything she was doing during my acrylic overlay fill. Since I wear acrylic overlay on my natural nails, my nails tend to grow downward as they get longer. Jade explained how she placed the nail apex to support the longer growth while still keeping my nails aesthetically pleasing. I really appreciated her taking the time to explain this--otherwise, I would've had no idea. The services were completed in a timely manner, and the quality and pricing were both great. I got a fill with designs, and my two roommates each got full acrylic sets. We all finished at the same time, which was an impressive bonus. The nail techs here are super nice and I've been coming back every month ever since I discovered them! The space feels super welcoming, calming, and is also aesthetically pleasing. They have a ton of nail polish shades to choose from and they've been able to replicate any design that I bring inspo of. Prices are fair and they also have deals periodically. I am late to review but I really wanted to say these girls were amazing! I called them for an appointment while I was in California visiting and they took us in last minute and the experience was amazing and so relaxing. They were sweet and let us choose a movie. First time coming here and the service was amazing! First of all, they were the first to message me when I inquired on yelp and I was able to set my appointment with them. I arrived about 20 minutes early and they accommodated and saw me right away. Jade did my nails and she took her time with them! She really paid attention to details. Ava did my pedicure and the hot stone massage felt so good! Also, the chair was very comfortable so that's always a plus :) Overall I had a great experience and am very satisfied. Amazing place ! I went right after work and got attended right away . I went in for a pedicure and was very relaxing. Jade attended me and had a berry positive attitude and amazing service. 10/10 would recommend. a bit pricey though but if you dont mind paying quality over quantity I'd highly recommend! So glad I found this place! The ladies here are so welcoming and nice. The place is cute and clean and had lovely presentation boards to show the myriad of colors and options they offer. I was glad to see the sterilizer at work, which made me feel comfortable about the tools they use. Mia, my technician, explained every step as she went and told me what to expect, which was great service. That they offered me water and the remote to select what I wanted to watch was a lovely bonus. I got gel-x with extensions, and it took about 40 minutes and cost $55 (plus tip). i had a friend that follows this place on insta and they kept showing up as recommended on my feed as well. my previous salon has not been giving me consistent good results for what i'd pay. this place has been very good ever since i booked the appointment. good communication over price ranges and design. reminders before my appointment. and when i walked in i just knew i was in good hands. Mia did such a good job with my nails. she was very friendly and kept making sure i was ok with the design throughout the whole process. will most definitely be coming here from now on. the price is fair for the quality and availability that's given. read more

Trying out a brand new…read moresalon right before my big day made me a little nervous, but looking back at the results, I'm so glad I did! Getting to the salon wasn't too difficult, some street parking wasn't too difficult. The salon had a cute and modern vibe to it! I was instantly seated by Tammy and she got to work. They had an iPad at each station, which really made my experience here relaxing. I had a hard gel set on, and Tammy did mention how they'd have to start clean and remove this set. I was charged for removal, which I wasn't the greatest fan of. I asked Tammy for a classic nude, white ombré with a bit of glitter on top, and she delivered! This is probably the best set of ombré nails I've ever had done!!! I've had many nail techs say how ombré nails look better on longer nails, but Tammy made things work with the nail length I was comfortable with! I was a bit skeptical of the longevity since it wasn't the hard gel I'm used to, but this set legit lasted me over FOUR WEEKS (with the exception of one nail that had gel-ex on because of some previous nail damage)! If I were in the area more often, I'd go back to Buttercup in a heartbeat!!!! They are on the pricier side, but you'll be paying for quality IMO.
