Because it was a huge job spanning multiple rooms across the entire house, he originally estimated the job would take 2-3 weeks; the job ended up taking only 1 week to complete! David Johnson brought in more workers and even had them work on the weekend to complete the job sooner, which I was very happy about. David Johnson was very easy to reach via phone or text, and provided a detailed estimate via email before we started any work. He worked with me to keep costs down and very generously did not charge me for some more minor aspects of the work. Also, while he's located in Cobb County which is an hour away from me (I'm in a closer Atlanta suburb), he met me at my house to create the estimate just a few days after our initial phone call. I received a response the next morning, a phone call from Russ Melton. He assured me a member of the team would arrive soon with an estimate and even invited me to call him personally if I didn't hear from the team soon. There was no need, I received an email and a call later that day. Russ showed up the next day and provided an estimate for the project. While I had him there, I showed him some other issues with the house that had been on my "to-fix list" and he provided an estimate for those projects as well. The cost was exactly what I expected, and I gave him the go ahead to schedule workers ASAP. They came within a few days, even though it was all happening around the Thanksgiving holiday. Jose and another roofer (sorry, I didn't catch his name) showed up early for the appointment but waited out front until the appointed time. They were courteous, kind (even to my very excited dog), and had the problem fixed in no time. They even installed additional flashing to the second skylight (which hadn't yet started leaking) just as a precaution, free of charge. The office staff were just as kind and professional as the roofers. I worked with Deb Burris who helped me with billing and scheduling. The interface for billing was simple, the contracts and estimates were clear and easy to understand, and she was very knowledgeable and responsive over texts, emails and calls. We didn't feel it was right to pay an additional $1,000 for that and other items addressed in the estimate. As for changing the scope of the project, the recommended paint did not perform as described by Intown. We could not see our way clear to pay an additional $1,400 on a $14,000 job. We used to be one of those 1,400 satisfied customers. Sorry we could not work this out.

It looks great and functions perfectly. We decided to replace the tile in the second, tiny bathroom. The floor went down without a hitch but we hated the old, broken soap and toothbrush holders above the sink. Tuan talked with my wife and he figured out how to carefully remove the soap and toothbrush holders and replace them with two of the floor tiles. It looks amazing and looks like it has always been there! Every project got the same attention and great work.

Under a previous business name, Rushing renovated my bathroom with disastrous results. A job that…read morewas supposed to take a week dragged on for 29 days. Drywall tape marked "this side faces wall" was installed incorrectly, so it peeled off the wall after a few months. My expensive shower enclosure was melted when Reggie used a heat gun to speed the drying of the drywall mud. The shower plumbing was done incorrectly, so I had to hire a plumber and cut open the brand new wall. The wrong size window was shimmed into place using interior grade pine. The flooring was installed incorrectly (LVP, which Reggie lined up like square tiles instead of staggering the planks) and had to be torn up and redone, so the pieces don't line up correctly and the warranty was invalidated. When everything was said and done, Rushing sued me. (The case was tossed out of court, since I had ample evidence of clownish incompetence.) After my experience, I'll always do a Google mugshot search before letting any contractors into my house. Could have prevented myself a lot of grief and wasted money.

There was PAINT all in my hardwood floor and it would not come out, so I had to get the ENTIRE redone!!!! 6. He got paint ALL OVER MY WALLS. He was supposed to only paint the cabinets... 7. He got paint ALL OVER my blinds... 8. He got paint ALL OVER my dishwasher, which need to be replaced as he tried to clean it and removed the finishing off the dishwasher!!! 9.
