We had three jobs that Kham and DJ did for us in our backyard. First we needed to repair and stain our 450 sf deck. Second, our house had a small roof extension which had sustained water damage. Third we wanted to add an outdoor electrical outlet. Kham and DJ came out for an estimate within a day or two of being in touch. They offered us two options with the roof extension pending what it looked like when they got inside. They were able to start the job in the same week. Once they opened it up, it was clear that it had to be removed. The work they did was top notch, even going to multiple Home Depots and Lowes to match the exterior wood. This review is late. Kham and Deejay helped me with a bathroom vanity installation in June 2018. I had removed the old vanity myself it they helped me repair the drywall and install a small section of flooring underneath the vanity. They also had to do some plumbing work in the right space. They did a great job, and we're fast and pleasant to work with. I also appreciated them coming out on a Sunday. I will be using them for more projects soon. read more

On 8/4/22, I hired this company to mount a television and install a new gas stove. They sent two men who needed google translator to communicate with me. The television mount went ok but the stove install did not. I needed to purchase an adapter from Home Depot to fit my new stove so they travelled to get it along with tape. They used tape to seal the adapter to the gas line instead of sealant and the result was a gas leak. I texted DJ and was told that they have a meter to check for leaks as if it couldn't be possible that there was a leak. However, the men didn't test for leaks because I watched the complete install. On 8/9/22, my condo was still smelling heavily of gas 5 days later so I called Georgia Natural Gas who came out, confirmed and found the gas leak. They removed the heavy tape the installers used and made the repair using sealant on the adapter to connect to the gas line. I forwarded a copy of the documentation from the gas company as proof of the problem noted. End result is that I paid for an improper installation. There was no apology or offer of a partial refund for the bad service. Instead, when I told them that GNG fixed the leak all I got was, "At least that's good news". I was going to use this company to remodel my bathrooms. There is no way at this point especially after such a dangerous experience and poor response. Sharrion B read more

We moved into a new (for us) house last August. K&D did several small and larger jobs that included designing and building out a screen porch on our existing deck and cover. The job was done in a timely fashion and for a great price. To show the concern that they have for their work...the door to the screen porch was an off the shelf door and it began to fall apart soon after installation. Kham hand-built a new door and it has worked perfectly since installation. We had purchased materials for a series of pantry shelves and DJ and one of his crew knocked it out in a few hours. It looks great and functions perfectly. We decided to replace the tile in the second, tiny bathroom. The floor went down without a hitch but we hated the old, broken soap and toothbrush holders above the sink. Tuan talked with my wife and he figured out how to carefully remove the soap and toothbrush holders and replace them with two of the floor tiles. They gave me a decent price to do a job (light framing, some drywall and paint, and a garage door repair ) and stayed in the ballpark ( there were unexpected materials needed ) I feel like I got good value for my dollar as well. My kitchen sink faucet started making a whistling noise and then the water pressure started to get low. I had been dealing with the whistling noise for about 2 weeks but when the amount of water coming out the faucet started to slow down I texted K&D Services and he responded quickly. DJ came over and checked to make sure the water pressure was not low in the pipes and he removed the filter on the faucet to clean out any particles or debris and the outcome was he had to replace the entire faucet and it took him no more than 60 minutes and that included me going to pick out and purchase the new faucet. K&G Services has done another great job at my house. They are always so professional and knowledgeable. read more

Really wish I could give them a high review like the rest. Our biggest complaints are: Backsplash: uneven tile installation. The guy working on it said it was the cabinets that caused the tiles to be uneven. I noticed they did not use tile spacers. I was hoping when they were finished it would look a bit better. However that was not the case. We also noticed the grout lines between tiles were clumpy. Not all of the spaces were filled. Called them back to fix it but it still didn't look professional nor neat. Fans: The upstairs fans weren't programmed correctly. When someone turns on the fan/light in one room, the fan in the other room turns on as well. Called to ask them to fix it and Deejay said "it seems like an easy fix you can do it yourself" We stated we wanted them to come out and fix it and he said "that would be an extra service, we only get paid to install". So let me get this straight, not only did you ask your CUSTOMER to fix something your men were PAYED to do, you also pride yourselves in doing jobs INCORRECTLY, and it doesn't matter if it's installed correctly or not, as long as it's installed you've done your job? What kind of business is this? Once we moved into the house, that's when we noticed the fans. I really wish we had noticed it earlier then maybe DeeJay wouldn't have us, his customers, to fix it. Now we are out of money and left to try to fix it ourselves. I don't care if it's "an easy fix" do your job and do it correctly. During the process, there were other things that raised a red flag, such as when they were first "finished" with the job, they left depris all over our countertop, stove and sink. We sent them a video of the mess and tasks they did not complete. I believe we had to call them back a good 3 times to finish/fix things. Some pros: Deejay sounds like a nice guy over the phone. Communication was okay. For the most part he responded. Sometimes it took a bit. But near the end and especially once we paid and asked him about the fans he stopped responding. But hey, you got your money so what's the point of responding, right? read more

THE REAL TEA! According to their Yelp information, this company has a 100% response rate and responds in three hours. However, that must be for identified Yelpers only because I actually contacted them on Tuesday with a specific request for services and have not received a call back although it is Friday. If they called and did not leave a message, it doesn't count because what's the point! I don't like feeling like I get special services because I am a Yelper. I prefer to have great service provided because I am a customer and the company cares for ALL of their customers regardless of whether they are Yelpers. This is starting to be a problem. For example: As long as I was going into certain restaurants to eat in, everything was fine. Obviously they had recognized me as an outspoken Yelper and made sure that my meal was on point. HOWEVER, when I would order my food anonymously in my son's name and have it picked up, the food was substandard so obviously there was some intention regarding the preparation of the food. Needless to say, I no longer eat at these restaurants. Now, this company was not able to identify me as a Yelper because I decided to contact them through their website instead. I don't like going through Yelp because they sometimes will let you know that they are sending your request to two other businesses. I choose not to have my information shared with a random business that I have not yet considered. No I am not upset because I never put all of my eggs in one basket and I know that when dealing with contractors there is a natural filtering process which means less work for me. My most recent request of K&D Services was to install tile flooring in the dining room and family room. It is a large space that had been covered with fairly bad laminate flooring that had been installed by the previous owner. K&D Services did an excellent job. Part of this area is an addition to the house and the floor is not entirely even, but they were able to address that problem. The new floors look great. At some point I will be asking them to redo the tile floors in the foyer, kitchen, and bathrooms. read more

What a wonderful company! Nothing too big or too small. I needed my gutters cleaned on a very high roof. The clog was so bad that it caused water to overflow near an entryway. This caused my door some issue with appropriately shutting. They were also able to repair that door and a swollen crawl space door. Everything was so very thorough. They did a nice clean up, as well as checked the down spouts to ensure there were no blockages. I highly recommend them! read more
