BIG MISTAKE!! We had our basement built out by Mister Ladder in 2021. At the time, all the contractors used were professional and honest. We had a minor issue with one of the contractors drinking beer while on the job, and we only found out because he left the beer can in the basement. I immediately contacted Bobby Hayes, and he took care of it. Fast forward to 2025, we had a leak in the basement bathroom that they installed. When we went to repair it, we discovered from another contractor that the plumbing had not been done up to code. We called Mister Ladder, and they informed us that Bobby was no longer with the company, so I needed to contact him directly, which I did. He said he would send a plumber to our house to fix the issue, but I haven't heard anything since. I have tried to call him several times, leaving messages, and he is nonresponsive. I called back to Mister Ladder, and they said that they were never contracted to install the plumbing, only install the items for the bathroom. They were contracted to install a sump pump and ejector pump, but the installation was done incorrectly. They are not assisting with getting this resolved, and the integrity I thought this company had was all smoke and mirrors. read more

I was considering using Mr. Ladder (Bobby) to come out to my home and do some minor repairs and painting. After reading several negative reviews and having a close friend that used him I am going to go elsewhere for my home repairs and paint. My friend has been dealing with Bobby for months now for him to come back out to his home and finish the work he has been paid to finish. I am not going to take my chances with this business. read more

DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID! Do not make your final payment to them until the work is 100% complete and do not trust that Bobby Hayes will do anything he says after payment is made. We hired Mr. Ladder to completely rebuild our deck, fix our fence, paint our interior walls, ceilings & cabinets, replace some lighting, and replace our kitchen countertops. As agreed, we paid them 1/2 of the total amount due at the time the work began. The overall project took a little less than 2 weeks. Not bad, considering the painting "crew" of 1 person with the supervision of a paint foreman, who has no sense of time, basically completed the entire painting project on her own. At the walk thru, several issues that needed to be addressed were pointed out and listed. Bobby Hayes wanted the final payment at that time, saying the workers wanted to get paid and promised us that everything would still be done right away. I was hesitant but agreed to do so. That was on June 21,2023 and here we are, a year later and the punch list was never completed. After numerous texts and phone conversations with Bobby, telling us that they will be here, never to show up. Bobby made so many promises to finish the work but for every promise there was an excuse on why he could not honor his commitment. Mr. Ladder came highly recommended. At this point, I would not hire Mr. Ladder to change a light bulb. read more

Mister Ladder replaced and painted the siding on my chimney and deck. This was the second time they have done work for me, and both times the work was exemplary. The crew is on time, skilled and meticulous, friendly and polite. They kept at it in the hot sun, answered my questions when I had any, and even showed me some construction tips, because sometimes I do my own work. They cleaned up after themselves, so much so that you wouldn't even know they had been there. But the best part is, they closed the back gates behind them because they knew I had a dog. read more

Friends had horrible time with Acworth Mister Ladder and were totally stressed out from all kinds of mistakes, delays and continual false promises and no help. Best part was the windows and painter. And they spent about $40,000. read more

I used this company to do a project for me to build a pavilion at a playground, which was not built correctly had an engineer look at it. It was suggested that it be tore down, told Mr. ladder, and it took months for them to tear it down, and then it was a battle to try to get them to rebuild it, so I had to pay out-of-pocket to get it rebuilt from another builder. This company does not stand behind their work. If there was a zero star, I would put zero. read more

Had gutters cleaned and gutter guards installed on my house. Great service and gutters look great! I am so pleased with their work, that I'm having Mister Ladder come back out to replace and paint some damaged cedar siding on my home. Will definitely use them in the future for additional work that needs to be done! read more

I hired Mr. Ladder to do several jobs. Some were smaller (like installing a new kitchen faucet, washing the exterior house windows) and others were larger (like painting the exterior of the house). All of the jobs were excellent. I then asked for a door to be installed on my deck over the septic tank so that it could be removed if needed. The first attempt was not done well. The construction person's job was sloppy to say the least. I contacted Bobby who I had been dealing with for the abovementioned jobs. I explained my dissatisfaction. Bobby came and agreed that the job was subpar and agreed to redo the job. Mind you, I had already paid for the previous attempt. Bobby said it would be redone on his dime. While I had to wait a while for the job to be done, Bobby kept his promise. The door was redone by another construction worker, and this time the job turned out to be excellent. Bobby is a man of character and integrity. He is honest and fair. I would not hesitate to call him for any future jobs that I may have. read more

Hired Mister Ladder in the beginning of August to fix cracks in driveway, garage, walkways. They destroyed all of it. Filled my garage, garage door with a ton of dust. They made all the cracks a lot wider with a concrete saw. It looks like they messed it up on purpose. They went into my garage and used a pail of my concrete mix without asking. I now have 2 different colors of grout on my driveway. Besides that, all the cracks the (fixed) are all cracked. I can't believe a company could do such horrible work. I'm now going to have to pay another contractor a lot of money that this company did. Please do not use this company, they will do a very bad job and you will also be told several not honest statements. read more

The first project they did for us was good 2 years ago; replaced upper deck. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the French doors that were installed. The doors never closed properly and I was told the "sticking" would resolve over time. I have had 2 contractors look at the door since and both have confirmed that it was not installed properly which has resulted in water getting into the house. Also, the tile floor they installed at entrance to door is coming up. I have left 2 messages for someone to call me back but that never happened.. Very disappointed. read more

Love them. I am a Realtor and use them for any work I need on any of my listings. They are my go to for all the fixins around the house. They are kind and responsive. Justin has been my guy for both projects. I don't always hang out the whole time he is working because I don't have to, he keeps me in the loop. He lets me know how long he will be and even sends me picture updates when he is all done. I trust their work and will continue to use them for any projects around my home or my clients. read more

Had them come out to do 6 items. 3 I am happy with. The other 3? meh. I was told the reason rain runs down my front porch facia is that the gutters need cleaned. Gutter clean=tossed the pinestraw and debris into the flower area in front of house and left it. Rain still runs down the facia. Satellite dish was mounted to roof and we no longer used it. I expected them to remove and replace the shingles that were drilled through but just a bunch of large globs of black sealer sticking up from the roof is what I got. I was told they could fix the tub faucet drip. They did attempt it, but I was told the parts were too old (25 yr Kohler) and could not be fixed without cutting a hole in the wall and costing a couple thousand to repair and repaint. They put it back together but instead of a drip, I now literally have a pinky sized stream running out of it constantly (hot water of course) that won't stop and the whole assembly is now loose. If there was a chance this would happen, I should have been warned up front. read more
