I can't say enough great things about Andrew. He took a basic 10 X 12 old deck that we had and build out a beautiful wrap around 25 X 30 deck for our house. It has completely changed the way we relax, entertain and just fundamentally enjoy ourselves! I reviewed with Andrew my "drawing" that I had done and we sat down with each area and talked through what could work and what might be a challenge. Andrew is very creative and also so easy to work with. And he was VERY patient with me, working with me when I had to be out of town, and I totally trusted him to do the right thing with the smaller items, but for the larger items, he was willing to rearrange his schedule with other projects to allow for me to be here when he handled the them. (I know that wasn't easy on him!) He does almost all the work himself, and is very precise, with great attention to detail, very trustworthy and highly professional. I have referred him to a number of our neighbors - and always happy to give him a good recommendation to anyone who is interested in hearing more! Andrew did an AMAZING job on our downstairs basement apartment! He did all the flooring, fixtures, cabinetry and finishing work and it looks absolutely amazing. He is extremely reliable, works quickly but he pays attention to detail and doesn't cut corners. You can tell by the quality of work he does he cares about the job and the people he is working for. We will definitely hire him again, I highly recommend. I didn't think to take pictures when I visited the house but hopefully I can add them later. On a personal note we haven't had great experience in the past with this sort of work. People never seem to care about the work they do and cut corners whenever they can. Andrew fixed some poor quality work I had done on my screened porch and deck last year and did an excellent job. It now looks like it should have when the work was commissioned and paid for the first time. He handled the demolition and re-made the column wraps and drain wraps with boards that now look like wood beams instead of gutters, etc. The cuts and joints are exact and clean. Andrew is an artisan and problem solver. We gave him some random photos of a crazy front porch design, and he worked tirelessly to turn it into reality. He's CREATIVE. He also recently came over to swap our broken, original greenhouse style kitchen window, to a regular window. Andrew found a way to fix and repair the original greenhouse window instead. I was overjoyed because i love that feature of the house. He would have made a lot more money knocking it out and replacing it, but he instead had our best interests at heart.
