I recently contracted with Rodriguez Painting to re-do my exterior painting trim on my 3 story home, they started on July 24 with a good pressure wash. Over the next few days the job was completed with professionalism and timely. The crew was very detailed and completed the job to my satisfaction, I also plan to contract with them to do my interior home in the near future. I highly recommend this company to anyone seeking professional painting services. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. The 1st issue began with the crew replacing rotten wood with hardly plank. The crew arrived began tearing boards off. The contract with the company stated 3 boards on the left hand side of the home. They ripped off 1 board and replaced it. On the back of the house the contract stated 3 boards they ripped off 2 and replaced them. This was the pattern the entire 1st crew. I stopped them and showed them the contract. They stopped work and said our boss will be here in 2 hours and left. The boss arrived "Gabriel" and walked around the house with the contract on his phone. He then stated I was correct and had to run for hardly plank Because they did not bring enough to actually complete the contract. I paid for a better grade of sherwin williams paint btw. They painted the exterior of my home and it was a shotty job to say the least. Sloppy caulking and nails not punched in properly. Fast forward to a year later. The paint is pealing all over the house, even the new hardy plank has pealing paint. I contacted the company via email and they requested photos. I sent over 20 photos of the paint pealing and their response was this is not under warranty. Their response stated it's not under warranty because the boards were swelling. A proper paint job would created a barrier over the boards hence why we paint homes! Go with a quality company because this is not it. read more

Completed painting on our kitchen and dining area. They previously painted two bedrooms and master bathroom. All work was completed with high satisfaction and priced within our expectations. I would recommend them without doubt because they met or surprised my expectations with their work ethics. read more

We had Rodriguez Painting repaint our kitchen cabinets. There is overspray on our epoxy garage floor coating, our appliances, on our baseboards, a cabinet door not put back on properly, and more. For over a month now we have received excuse after excuse for why they have not come out to correct their shoddy workmanship. Stat FAR away. read more

House paint looks great. however, I requested a specific stain and confirmed with the quoter it could be used. I also sent an email with the a picture of the container and link to it on Home Depot. I showed the painter a picture and verbally specified the brand and color. Instead they got cheap stain in the same color. Now the two parts of fence don't match. The part I painted looks great and they part they did looks like orange crap. read more

zero stars, trash service!!!! sloppy work, late, rude crew, total scam!! do not hire!!

WORST company to deal with. Requested an estimate for interior painting - person was running late and unable to make it during the requested time (I WFH and had call/meetings to attend to). Rescheduled to another day and the estimator NEVER called nor showed up but claimed he called me and it went right to voice mail....NO MESSAGE left nor did he showed up for the confirmed appointment. Rodriguez Painting - Painters Near Me - Kennesaw, Georgia

Just to update, I tried unsuccessfully for over 2 years to get Rodriguez Painting to complete the work. I would call to set up dates for them to come, and they'd never show up. They even told us a day that they could actually make it. My husband took off work to stay home to be there. They never showed that day either. So...... if you want a shoddy, unfinished paint job that never gets completed, call Rodriguez Painting. On a side note, I hired a former student of mine who now does housepainting. He finished the work and did a beautiful job for a reasonable price! read more

Horrible experience. No communication between company and homeowner. Hidden costs. The guy who did the estimate wasn't honest about what was needed or be . Would not hire again read more

We hired them to paint the inside and outside of our house. While the outside was done beautifully, the inside was not so nice. They painted my FLOORS, BATHTUB, and TOILETS too! You can actually see their paint strokes on the walls, and they missed an entire section of the kitchen ceiling. They did offer to come back and "clean up," but we didn't want them inside our house again, after the mess they left us with. Consumer beware!!!! These are just two of the pictures, I have many more. read more

Seem very good at bidding jobs but not so much in follow through of actually doing the job.. they are just a marketing firm and a bidding firm all of the painters are random subcontractors....smh read more

I saw their truck driving down the highway and decided to give them a call for an exterior painting estimate. I set up an appointment for 2 weeks down the road because it isn't easy for me to get time off of work so I scheduled ahead of time when I knew I would be home. They didn't show up. I called at them at the end of what should have been my appointment window and was told that the estimator tried to call me and cancel the appointment due to rain. It wasn't raining here during my appointment window and I had no voice messages or emails from them. The best they could do is schedule another day and time but I can't be here due to work, I wasted so much time waiting on them and I'm pretty furious. Who can't provide an estimate due to a little rain (when it wasn't even raining and when it did start raining after my appointment time, it was a light rain.) It's not like I was asking them to paint my house today. read more

I hired them for interior painting in April 2022. They completed the painting project on May 6. I was EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the front door, exterior to be sanded, restained, and varnished. I contacted them REPEATEDLY throughout May AND June and was told that the issue would be resolved. After paying the company the FULL AMOUNT of nearly $6,000.00 they never bothered to adhere to which they deceitfully advertise, "Satisfaction Guaranteed." DO NOT HIRE Rodriquez Painting! read more

I don't recommend this company. I had an onsite estimate scheduled for today (4/19/2021). I received a confirmation call on 4/16/2021 for today's appointment. Not only were they a no-show. When I called I was told they do not service my area. I was told this by the Supervisor. I read reviews and noticed that they serviced a city outside of the Atlanta area that is 30 miles south of me. I called back to speak with the Supervisor. I asked 3 times but the Supervisor refused to get on the phone. The service rep instead confirmed that they service my area, stated the Supervisor was too busy to speak to me, asked to reschedule my appointment to 4/30/21, and would notate a discount on my account. He also he was sorry for the confusion because there was a lot going on. Yes, it is called confusion and disorganization. I declined the offer. read more

WE used Rodriguiz Painting to paint the exterior of our home and they did a great job. The crew was on time and finished right on schedule.

This is the worst company. They will give you a quote, not show up for the job, (multiple times) and when they do show up, they will change the WRITTEN QUOTE to up the price. You would do better with a company that takes pride in its work, along with customer service along with honesty. Too many options out there to settle on a questionable company. read more

Please do not waste your money on this company. I received weekly phone calls from Rodriguez Painting after I received a quote, and I decided to give them a try. As you can see in the pictures provided, the quality of the job that was done on our house was pathetic, and Rodriguez Painting has not been responsive to any phone calls or emails regarding resolution. The underneath of boards were not painted, paint is already peeling off, and the house was not caulked properly. Terrible people, terrible company. read more

We had several estimates for painting our house and replacing some wood on our chimney. Out all of the estimates and the response of getting the estimate quickly to us Rodriguez seemed the one to choose. We did not regret it all. The estimate was a reasonable price for what we needed. I used this company to do interior painting and i won't use them again. I had to complain to the manager to get the job done the way it should be to begin with. The art of lying perfected not the art of painting!!!! The absolute worst experience ever!!!!!!!!! we had been working on our house to get it on the market to sell and from all of the contractors we had to deal with they were far and away the worst!!!!!!! They specifically delayed us from getting on the market by five days plus A sloppy paint job They continue to lie, they did not meet their commitments They only use subcontract painters and the subcontract painters used day laborers who did not know even how to paint. I had to put on over 50 switch plates after they completed the interior but to this day they still have not completed the Exterior work that is supposed to be done. What should've taken a four to five day job took over a ten day and they are still have not completed the work. AVOID this company at all cost it is not worth your time OR aggravation read more

STOP NOW! Do not use them! I had my house painted on outside and within 4 months it was pealing all over. I called them multiple times and sent pictures! They even back dated the contract a year but I caught that. They had excuses every time I called them time after time and about 2 1/2 years after painted they sent someone out and then said they would get back to me and after calling multiple more times they told me it was my siding and in contact it said if something wrong with my siding they are not responsible! He argued with me as if I had no idea what I was talking about! All of the office people lie to you and they have some good stories why someone can't come to phone! I caught them doing that too. What ever price they give you do t do it! I wish I knew before I hired them! read more

I found this company by doing a Google search. I contacted them for exterior painting services for my residence located in Fairburn, GA. I was told that Francisco would be out to give an estimate on the job. Francisco did come out as agreed. Francisco called while on the way to my residence. After looking at the residence and taking photos, he advised he would get over an invoice by the close of business or early the next day. Once the estimate came in and I decided to go with this company. My job was quoted at about 4,500. I scheduled this job to be completed by this company. The next day representatives from Rodriguez painting came out and began pressure washing the residence. They also were told that we were going back with the exact same color of the house. The next day the paint crew came out with ladders, plastic etc. I went out and moved cars out of there way and had a brief conversation with them. The entire crew spoke very little English. I left to go to work. While at work I got a TEXT not a phone call from a member of Rodriguez Painting. I was told that the price would have to increase by $1,800. Initially the representative who told me this said because we were doing a color change. Once she was corrected to the fact it was the same color then she said the price increase would be because there was two small areas of the house that would need additional coats of paint. I was shocked, appalled and felt slighted. Why wasn't I advised this during the professional quote and site visit by Francisco?(owner of company). Well the answer is simple. It was after I signed the contract. At no point, prior to agreeing to the contract, was I advised there would be an 1800 price increase. I asked the rep to have Fransiconto give me a call. It was funny Francisco calls and says that he is now in Mexico. He did admit that he screwed up and did not see that area. However, because of his failure, it must be at my expense. Really? So Fransico had three chances to view my home. The first was to give me the initial quote and do a walk around of the residence. The second opportunity was when the pressure washing crew from Rodriguez painting came out. Third was Francisco physically saw the residence and took photos. So the real intent was to defraud me as the customer. Francisco then began to play let's make a deal. The additional 1,800 went down to 1,500 then to 1,245. All of which I denied. Because of this deceptive practice I told the paint crew to leave. Francisco called me back and said he wanted to do business but he could not eat the cost of this own mistake. Francisco stated he was the only person that could rectify this problem but he could not from Mexico. Actually there is no problem to rectify. I will never use this company and suggest that no else will either. Additionally I recorded my conversations with Fransico. If anyone would like to chat with me, please look me up by my business name on profile. These recorded conversations depict Fransico saying that he made the mistake and didn't see the difference on all occassions (initial visit, pressure wash day and from pictures). By the way, the pressure washing job was terrible also. I have photos of the piss poor job of that as well. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE UPCHARGES AFTER THE QUOTED PRICE! VERY SIMILAR TO OTHER REVIEWS ON THIS PAGE. Do you own research! If I could give them negative stars I will. Also check with Better Business Bureau. I will file my complaint with them next. Fransico, said he prouds himself taking over his dad's business of 25 years. He definitely does not believe in customer satisfaction. Call other companies. read more

First time leaving a yelp review and it's to hopefully save someone else the trouble. We used them for the entire inside and outside of our house. After delays and then the painter trying to get us to cancel and pay him directly they messed up multiple things and we are still fixing problems that they caused. Paint is peeling off all over the house and it was just done less than two months ago. Would give no starts but it won't let me. read more

Critical: Quality, Responsiveness, Value Worst painting contractor I've ever dealt with. However I must say they are very nice and polite. I was a little sceptic about hiring them because of their past reviews. They brush painted an area on our foyer ceiling and it looks terrible. They rolled the center of the ceiling and walls, and brushed the edges. Looks terrible where there is sunlight!!! We called and called. They scheduled an appointment date twice. Once no show. Second time - painter arrived and said he doesn't do ceilings. WHAT! If you use these guys you better hope you don't have any issues because they will not return to fix them. Rev. Please save yourself the heartache and DO NOT hire these fools. They have good advertising that says one price but the estimator will show another price that's double to triple. They have no idea what they are doing. They are obviously hiring unqualified contractors to complete the work. The workers are not well trained and incompetent to say the least. I have had multiple teams come out and they consistently cause more problems then they solve. They are fairly cheap but that's because the quality of the painting is terrible. There were dozens of examples of overspray, paint on my driveway, paint on the stone (front of my house is stone) missed spots, wrong color, and sloppiness. They acted like they were done on several occasions when they obviously were not while demanding payment and threatening late fees. It took calling the office, taking over a hundred pictures, and uploading them several times for the office to believe me that they screwed up so many times. I have wasted an incredible amount of time on the phone and texted the managers at this place. They never showed up on time or when they said they would. They also showed up unannounced several times. Seriously these are the worst contractors I have ever used and will never use again. They still haven't cleaned up all the huge messes they made. I will have to fix myself. read more

WISH I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS!!! This company has horrible customer service. I would not recommend them! I initially had made an appointment with Rodriguez painting for them to begin the job on the week of July 19th. After having heard no communication from them all week, I called them on Friday and they rescheduled me for August 4th. Due to a family emergency, I had to cancel with them and we rescheduled for August 27th. When August 27th came around, they were a no call, no show. They were supposed to show up between 11am-3pm and I never saw nor heard from anyone! They did not communicate anything (like what paint color I wanted, when they would get the paint, when they would actually start painting, if I needed to move anything, etc. No communication whatsoever!) After them not showing up or calling me on August 27th, I called them and asked to speak with Mr. Rodriguez, the owner. I was told he is "impossible to talk to and is never in the office". Really? What kind of business practice is this? Since it has been over a month since my initial job date and I had never heard back from them, I decided to hire a different company. read more

Great work, reasonable rate. I received estimates from 5 teams and am happy I chose Rodriguez. They painted a number of rooms for me pre-move-in, and were efficient and professional. read more

So very disappointed in this company. We got 3 quotes and went with Rodriguez as they where middle of the road price wise and they offered a warranty on their work. We have come to find out that this is not worth the paper it is written on. After 3 months of scheduled appointment to come back out and look at the work that was peeling and bubbling. They finally showed up and informed me that the problem was the paint under "their paint" and therefore they would not honor their warranty. I am getting new estimates out to assess the situation and I am seriously thinking I will take them to court. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

This company is now also doing business in San Antonio, Texas. The young man who did the estimate was very professional and explained everything well. We finalized the contract and scheduled the painters for the following week. Next day, office calls telling me they have a crew available now, so here they come. Five people all scraping old paint (sort of) and prepping the pressure washer. Mid day the weather changed, so the work stopped - thankfully. It was at that point we realized they had already started painting OVER the old paint instead of finishing the prep work. Caulk was set over WET wood, painters on the back side of the house had started with the wrong color, areas where estimator had said the sprayer would be used to ensure a smooth finish were being painted with a paintbrush. Should probably have stopped the work then but decided to take the situation in hand when the painters returned two days later. Delay was due to weather. The two painters who returned acknowledged the poor work and assured us they'd sort it out. In their defense, some of the issues were addressed and resolved but the "rush, rush and hurry up because we have other jobs to get to" quality of the work was pretty evident. The third day only one guy showed up and he was obviously under pressure to get finished and get the money. In all fairness, parts of the house look okay and the paint will probably hold up for at least a couple of years, however, the sloppiest work will have to be redone in a year or so, no doubt. Perhaps the most frustrating part of all this mess is the trash they left behind, the damage from the all the paint they spilled and/or poured in my yard and the large patches of dead sod in my yard from the paint thinner they poured in my grass. If you choose to contract with this company, be sure you are at home and don't mind monitoring all of the work that is going on. We will not use Rodriguez Painting for any other jobs. read more
