I called and booked an appointment with them on a Friday. They originally said the arrival time would be 12:30 and it would take two-three hours, which worked for us as we were leaving town around 3 for the Christmas holiday. Three days before the scheduled appointment I get the reminder email saying that the arrival time will be 2:30. I email back to say I was originally told 12:30. They tell me the earliest they can be in my area is 2:30. I explain we will be leaving out of town and was told that we didn't have to be home for them to service my house. I then asked to reschedule to a different day because I want to be there when a company I've had no previous business with works on my house, especially if I'll be out of town in case something happens. So we reschedule. The day they are supposed to come out it's raining cats and dogs. I get a call from the company saying they will need to reschedule (which I completely understood and was expecting the call). When I asked when we could reschedule, guy I spoke with said he was driving around and would call me back later to set it up. 10 days later and still no call. They obviously don't want business. BEWARE: I used Geek Window Cleaning for over 2 years and the last quarter of 2017 they failed to show up. I called and emailed on 10 occasions (over 5 months) trying to either cancel, get service and/or a refund. At one point I was told my service would be cancelled and I would be reimbursed, but the company continued to charge my card without providing services. I had to contact my credit card company several times to stop payments. After sending 2 certified letters that were refused and returned, I contacted the BBB to help resolve the issue, but Geek Windows FAILED to respond to the BBB. I have learned to always read the less than stellar reviews because that is where truth dwells. Poor communication. It's great they are "busy," so they do not need my business. Everyone deserves a second chance, but not 4. I emailed the details to this company 2 days ago. They called back and left a message without a quote. I called back again yesterday and today. I was quoted $260 for a 1500 sqft townhome and then put me on hold which disconnected. I called them back, and they asked to put me on hold- AGAIN. In the meanwhile, I went online and they were running $50 dollars off, so why didn't they offer me $200? ( which is still way too high). Needless to say, I gave up. Kyle and team were detail oriented and perfectionist in window washing and pressure washing. We were putting our 1964 built home on the market. They pressure washed and used cleaners that took decades off the patio, pool deck and driveway. They really took their tone and did all the extras to make the house look perfect. On the window washing they did both inside and out. After pollen season and Hurricane Harvey it made a huge difference overlooking the pool and outside at the azaleas. I made an appointment with Geek Window Cleaning. They gave me an estimate of when he would arrive. On the day of the appointment they called and let me know they were on their way. They arrived within the time estimated. When they arrived they did all the windows that I had requested on the phone, plus they did extra windows and doors. Before they left, they said if there were any streaks that they missed they would return and clean that up! They were very professional, friendly, and courteous. Had the company come out to clean the outside of my windows. Unfortunately did not do what I would consider a very good job on the higher floors. They stated they had to come inside to take my screens off, although you could easily take them off from the outside. I don't know if they did not have a ladder or just do not want to use it. When I called to have them come back out, I spoke with Will and he was extremely nice. He said that can happen because it is hard to see the results sometimes based on where the sun is during the day. It honestly did make sense. However, when the guys came back out to do the touchups they were extremely unprofessional and came across very lazy. I asked them to leave. I called to let the owner know. He didn't know the answers to some simple questions such as "Do they wash the window sills?", and after quoting me $180 to clean the exterior of 10 windows in my cottage he told me that someone else would call me right back to schedule the service. From my initial phone call with Kyle to the date of service there was constant communication, including a meet us page so you could learn a little about the techs that would possibly be on your property. I also received reminders about the date and time of my service. Kyle arrived and was extremely professional and concerned about making sure I was satisfied with the work. He worked quickly and my home looks so much brighter and cleaner. He reduced my total bill from the original quote because one of the windows in on a second story ledge. The out side was a mess and now it sparkles. I didn't want Kyle to risk going up on the ledge. The window is out of reach, so no finger prints or puppy nose prints. He sent me a confirmation email with photos of his workers so I could rest assured that the people knocking on my door were from his company.
