First service was good, came home to house smelling like fabulousa and clean. Second, I didn't smell the fabulousa and it seemed as though they did not clean the guest bathroom shower, third time, well, let's just say I was unsatisfied with the service all the way around. The house did not seem cleaned but yet picked up. I was referred to Katy Maid after and they are doing a wonderful and honest job. They make the trip from Katy to Hockley. read more

9/10/20- The first service was ok. 10/8/20- they were charging me every two weeks for cleaning both upstairs and downstairs when all they were cleaning was downstairs until I brought it to their attention. 10/22/20- I asked the office to update what is included in my bi weekly service, to make sure I am not asking for any services outside of the scope of work I pay for. I believe the cost I am paying every two weeks is on the upper end of the going market rate. I have no problem spending more in order to receive top-notch service. 10/23/20- I was very disappointed with the service. What was asked was not addressed, which the office said they would relate to the team. -THE CREW WAS CHANGED 11/5/20- company texts me that the new crew is scared to enter due to my dogs. They are both bougee indoor dogs. *recommends not having employees who are afraid of pets/dogs. 1/14/21-crew arrives. I ask the 2 person crew who is the lead/in charge. No response. Ask a second time, no response. It took me 5 times to ask until one spoke and said, "no, Habla English." I asked, "so nada englis." they replied with no. How am I supposed to communicate with a crew that does not speak English? I used my best broken Spanish to explain the shower situation. I have specified on numerous occasions the shower is my most important part of the house to clean. I would say roughly 50 words were said between myself and the two-person crew. About 40 mins later, the manager arrived, now making a 3 person crew; she spoke English. I was able to speak with her about the shower, and we both understood each other clearly, and that was that. I walked back upstairs, and the crew left. 1/15/21 We received a call from Anissa, saying they can not service our property due to the crew being yelled at..? Yelled at; the only instance I can think of in the entire time of the 50 words spoken was when I asked for the 5th time which person is in charge. I thought they were deaf, considering they hadn't answered my question the first four times asking. I reviewed my in-house cameras and replayed the communication between myself and the 2 person crew. No yelling whatsoever. I guess they are not used to a non-monotone man voice. As Anissa said, her main priority is the employees(translation to me, you the client, are not the priority). This entire situation would have never happened if they(or at least one of the crew) spoke English to communicate with me, the client. I choose this company due to the convenience of text messaging updates of arrival and ease of recurring payment every two weeks. Anissa, thank you for doing us the favor of canceling our service, as this was something I should've done from 10/23/21 when your first crew couldn't perform. To end, unless you speak Spanish and are ok with sub-par work, this is NOT THE COMPANY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE. p.s. I am very curious now on how the internal office handles hiring, workers comp, general liability. read more

We use MoreHands for bi-weekly home cleanings and I love that this business has an app that I can use to make scheduling changes and updates, and that they text me when they are on their way so I know what time they will arrive. I have noticed that a supervisor comes by to check on the work being done while the maids are in our home the majority of the time, but I have also noticed that when I pay for an extra upgrade to our service it's not always worth it. I feel robbed. We needed a cleaning for us to move into our new house, nothing was in the home. I added cleaning the baseboards, cleaning the windows, sanitizing, the fridge, oven. This was all on top of a standard cleaning. Which I would assume involved cleaning the floors?? And dusting obvious places. I spent $550 and it was all wasted. I'm going to have to redo half their work. I walked in after the cleaning and couldn't even tell it had been cleaned. It looked the same. There was dirt in multiple places on the floor, the baseboards weren't done in multiple places. They missed a window. The fridge still had crumbs in it. The oven had soap in it, like they sprayed and didn't even scrub? All the fans had dust on them (they were all on short ceilings except one). The light switches had dirt on them. The tub didn't look cleaned there was dust on it. Just everything, for 550 you except it to be CLEAN. We were robbed by them and they wouldn't even give a refund for half of the price. All they could offer us was for a supervisor to come out. And she did and she did a lot better, but still not enough to be worth $550. All the dust remained, the light switches weren't wiped down, nothing was deep cleaned like we payed for. I am going over so much. It was an empty house it just needed a deep clean. read more

They were very nice and efficient, but it was very expensive for them to be doing an average job. If I have to pay that much for services, I want my house to be spotless. Just as an example, couple of times they came they didn't get 2 big cobwebs in a corner of the den. The next time they came, we pointed them out. They still were missed. Nothing was ever dusted except the front of the furniture. Just seemed like more could have gone into cleaning. We ended up canceling since it was so expensive and they weren't being thorough. read more

I got my apartment cleaned professionally for the first time by more hands maid service. When they arrived they were very nice and got right to work. They were really nice but I think they could do a better job. They were barely dusting (I had to ask them to go back on places), and they way they loaded the dish washer was horrendous. Everything everywhere, not organized, terrible. Also before they left I noticed there was still dirt in the master tub, when I asked why it was still there she told me that it was stained and for me to spray bleach every day. I let it go.... but my husband came home and cleaned the tub after and it came up like it always does when we normally cleans it. Can I give 6 stars for this cleaning service? Extremely satisfied with the quality of work that was done in my home today. This service was completed by Team #5: Sofia and Mayra. I appreciate the team and name numbers provided on a card at the end of the service. This way if you have any concerns you can call the office and comment on who exactly cleaned your home. However, I had no reason to complain, and I only have great things to say! As I was leaving the house, they were walking in... both ladies were shy, but very sweet and began cleaning immediately even as I was locking up--so we were off to a great start. This company is very affordable especially for the length of time they stayed in the home to clean (I even drove by the house to come home and they were still there... so I just drove off and let them continue). Additionally, I paid extra for baseboards and blinds and the overall total cost was still very reasonable. They even cleaned more than I expected (example: swept up the panty and organized my laundry room... both of which I didn't expect them to even go inside... also scrubbed the drip pans on the stove).
