To do that, they installed a projector, built-in retractable screen, all new AV equipment, and in-ceiling speakers. Glenn ran the show, and was great throughout the whole process. He kept in constant contact, providing updates and suggestions that struck a good balance between performance and cost. With his decades of experience, he knew where I should save money and where I should spend it. Even when the inevitable snafus occurred (which they always do), Glenn handled them with professionalism. Alex and his crew built a custom enclosure for the retractable screen, and ran new wires for a whole bunch of things. It required cutting holes in the ceiling and building a custom ceiling box, but when it was done, it looked as if it had built into the house the whole time. Josh and team did the installation of the AV equipment. They were professional and friendly, and paid attention to all the little details. Everything down to the cable management looks neat and tidy. I'd Valley Home Theater again in a heartbeat!

We have had SO many issues with savant. We have had issues with the HDMI connection, the remote, etc. We have had so much trouble getting anyone out here to fix the system, and we've gone weeks without a working tv. The latest is that our remote isn't working. It's either $150 for them to troubleshoot it or $1000 to replace it. I would never go with Magnolia again. There is zero customer support. For that price tag, it makes no sense.

The Sales people are very helpful and their free in home consulting is worth the time. The sales people we've met at various stores are pretty good, Jeff, in particular in the El Camino office is an excellent source of information and suggestions on how to set up a home audio system, speaker recommendations and home network in general. He's patient and has even provide answers to our question on off hours when we were in a hurry to evaluate components for a home remodel during the "after stucco and before and during drywall stage" which can be a crunch time in a remodeling/addition project when wiring for audio systems can be done more easily. We appreciate their service in helping us make decisions for which components to buy and how to wire for a system we needed.

He not only fixed the URC system but wound up installing a new sound system and speakers. I had a terrible experience which lasted for years and years with a sound / control / wireless system installer who left me with a URC system that was unworkable and constantly dropping off the network. Every wireless device in the house constantly lost their ip address. After years of spending a lot of money and switching between different internet providers, switches, modem's and equipment I decided to give Brian a try and I am so glad I did. He was able to correct all the previous ip protocol issues that were screwed up. It took no time at all and, after years and years of frustration my problems went away. Brian is knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, creative and skilled. He replaced the in-wall speakers with hidden speaker's, and installed a new receiver. He removed redundant equipment I never needed. The sound system is incredible and it makes me enjoy watching movies and listening to music even more. I appreciate Brian for his excellent service and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a sound system installer who knows what he is doing. When we met Brian the first time we realized that he was a fit. We spent more time taking about the music, artists and the composers than we did about the system and weather or not he could get me up and running. There was no doubt in my mind that he would be able to diagnose and fix the problem. Fantastic Brian and thanks for taking on my problem. John & Collette....

The technician took the time to properly diagnose the problem instead of making assumptions or replacing parts unnecessarily. I would definitely use City Master Appliance Repair again and would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, knowledgeable appliance repair company.

I originally wanted to give Lev 2-stars. However, Lev is the type of person who stands by his work…read moreand that's **really rare** nowadays so he deserves 5 stars. Read on... I have a three column Thermador fridge setup: A freezer, a wine cooler and a fridge. My wine cooler broke down after only 6 years. Lev agreed to come and replace it with a new one. When he took out the entire unit, we found that huge amounts of rust had formed between the wine cooler and the freezer. Lev told me he has never seen anything like this before and could be due to some leak. He fixed the rusty part of the freezer (still working) for a nominal fee and installed the new wine cooler. Fast forward 3 weeks, I did a small test by sliding a piece of cardstock in between freezer and the new wine cooler. Low and behold, it came out all wet. It turns out when these fridges are installed less than 6 inches apart (which is the case for almost ALL column installations), they need to have either insulation or a heater kit in between to avoid condensation. Thermador did not tell me this (because they don't know how far apart the fridges will be installed) but they said Lev, as an installer, should have known. When I talked to him, he said he has never seen that part installed but since it was causing problems for me, he would come back and install it for free! That's why he gets 5 stars from me. He was the only good part of this whole 3 month ordeal with Thermador.
