Great work. I was able to get ahold of Greg at about 9:30 pm when my kitchen sink started leaking pretty badly. Once we came to a agreement as to what time he could come by to give me a free estime on the repair he had Armando come down within the time frame I was told. Armando was very friendly and explained everything that needed to be done to repair the issue. Very satisfied with the service and wouldn't hesitate to give him more work, although I do admit I hope I don't need to lol. read more

Greg was our Sunday savior.. One of the pipes on the outside of our house busted; the only way to get it fixed was to call the first plumber that showed up on our Yelp. I am very glad Gava's Rooter was the one we called! Greg was not only efficient but he was very honest. He did not overcharge us. Or try to add on a Sunday fee, like most do. Goodness gracious what a life lifesaver thanks Greg! .... I originally called the drain dudes to come and clean out my bathroom sink... The tech that came out told me that I needed to replace my whole sewer line. I was told that I couldn't use my bathroom or kitchen sink until the line was replaced. I called Gavas for a 2nd estimate. Greg came over promptly ..very polite man, after explaning the issue he gave me advice as to what repairs were necessary right now and what could wait. Turns out I could use bathroom and kitchen! He beat their quote and actually unclogged the drain that I needed unclogged in the first place. Now he agreeded with the other plumbers; in that the main sewer line needed to be replaced soon. But not then and there. One of the biggest difference being that Greg actually came and fixed my drain. While he was rooting my drain he accidently broke the p trap.... he said ,dont worry I'll replace it with heavy duty abs plastic you'll never need to worry about any plumber rooting your sink drain again!... I feel like alot of contractor's take advantage of people in desperate or dire situations and of course want to maximize profits but in a sneakily way. Not Gavas! He got me up and running. Thanks a ton! I got a plumber for life I hope :) read more

I called Gava's Rooter because of their high Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, I don't share the same opinion. Gava's was able to fix my broken faucet and main water valve. I do feel they charged a premium for the visit also. However, the reason I'm giving them only two stars is because i was told that they would arrive by 3:45 and they eventually showed up at 5:45. While I was waiting for them, I called the office intermittently. I kept being promised different arrival times, but the plumber didn't show up until two hours later. If they had just told me that time from the beginning, I could have avoided taking time off of work. It was a very frustrating day for me.. read more

I wanted to share my experience with Greg. It was a Sunday morning and I was expecting about 20 people over to my newly purchased home. My wife calls me to tell me that that all toilets are plugged including in the back guesthouse. It turns out that my main was clogged. After reaching out to numerous plumbers and hearing excuses such as I'm out of town, I can't make it today, I don't have that equipment etc.. Greg answers and says "no problem I'm right up the street and should be there In 15 minutes." He gets there and immediately walks the property to inspect. He asked very good questions that I couldn't answer as I don't have that much history in the home. My home has a very large lot and the clean out was towards the back of the property. Greg ran his 150' snake and said let's hope this gets the job done. He seemed concerned as if it was his own home. Towards the end of the snake is when we finally got to the problem he and I were both relieved as I was expecting company very soon. He proceeded to put back all his equipment and surely I was thinking I was in the perfect situation to get gouged price was as it was an emergency and it was a Sunday. I was shocked when he told me the price and even more shocked when he said he would give me an additional discount just because. Great business man Greg was as I've already referred him to my family and also to a property management company I work with that manages 1200 units. I good honest plumber is hard to come by. Don't hesitate to call Greg read more

We had a re-occurring clog event in our guest bathroom. After getting two quotes from separate plumbers, Greg from Gavas Rooter gave me a alternative approach that was FAR LESS intrusive, with no demolition as prescribed by the others. His solution was to clear the clog by digging from the outside (we are on a concrete slab), and replacing the trap and pipe that actually was clogged. Not only has this solution worked, it saved us from breaking open the walls as advised by the other two plumbers, it also saved me approximately $1,500.00. Great job, and many thanks to Greg and his assistant. read more

Really helpful and really fast service. Would totally recommend him! Oh and he brought pizza so that's a plus lol.

Prices for plumbing these days seem to be outrageous, and especially when you are on a fixed income. Greg with Gava's Rooter was truly a Blessing. His price to clear our main line was very fair. It was a Monday about 1:15 p m when I called and he was busy, but found time to get to me. He solved our problem and was prepared in case there was further problems. He is a Keeper and will definitely use him again. I know when I was looking for a plumber I was reading reviews and it help me find someone I can trust. read more
