Walk in no reservations on a Tuesday evening. Great recommendations from our waiter - ended up with the 400g sirloin and the 500g speciality cut ribeye with chimichurri . Bottle of a nice Malbec Bonardo blend, sourdough bread, oyster mushrooms and spinach. All in All an excellent steak dinner/ medium rare cut with a butter knife. More than adequate size steak for 2 - could have gone a bit smaller but no complaints.

Busy restaurant, good food, yet one of our ordered steaks was over cooked. Manager came by and took the steak off the bill, superb service!

We came here on our last night in London. First, I loved the chance to escape over to the Battersea…read moreeveryone because it was so cute so location was definitely great. We did make a reservation for 4 people at 8:30 but honestly we didn't need it and the staff was very chill! We got some wine and beers to start and then we also got a little appetizer of the chorizo and the morcilla (blood sausage) which was yummy but the morcilla never compares to what you can get in Argentina. For dinner we got some of the steak to share with french fries. The steak was yummy and the fries were delish. We also got some bread which came which came with this STUNNING chimichurri butter. Overall the meal was delish! I really enjoyed the meal.

The staff were friendly and the decor was very nice. 1/4 Creamed spinach - did not like this - did not taste good 4/5 Fries - Cooked extra crispy and tasted very nice 3/5 Foccacia - served with balsamic and olive oil. It isn't your normal foccacia where the bread is thick and fluffy. This had some hard bread as well as a small round focaccia. Was okay. 4/5 Ribeye Steak - was great and cooked medium rare. Sauce was an extra fee which was odd but nicely cooked. 4/6 Half chicken - very tender and served with a chimmichurri sauce. Very good! Would come back for sure.

Tracing back to my Brazilian roots (born and raised - 10 years in Rio and São Paulo), I hold very…read morehigh standards for real Brazilian churrasco... ... and honestly, this place is pretty damn good. But I also somewhat regard it as Fogo de Chão's naive younger cousin. It has that authentic Brazilian backbone, but still needs a little bit of work on some of those finer details in bringing it to samba life. Pros: All-you-can-eat, great Picanha, good variety of meat, friendly Brazilian staff, Guarana, black beans, and you know it's true Brazilian when the farofa's out. Cons: Fairly pricey, missing some essentials such as palmito, pão de queijo, and coração de galinha (soo gooood), service can be a little slow, they replay the same concert on DVD over and over. There's also something not quite right with the way the caipirinha is mixed. I tipped over to four because it is the best Brazilian I have found in London and each time I go back I see some sort of improvement. High hopes for this one! PS. THIS PLACE IS NOT ARGENTINE

I had high hopes for this place. I regret to have had ignored my instincts to run out the door once…read moreI took my seat. The atmosphere was unpleasant, eerie, and cold. The staff didn't seem very welcoming either. Even the couple who sat down close by had walked out 5 mins later! Yet I thought, "C'mon, give it a chance". I was foolish. The menus were broken and confusing to follow. After asking the waitress, I understood that they had a buffet selection, including skewers of meat distributed by staff (£22ish), or a main dish (£12ish), which was said to come with potatoes, rice, salad, and your selected meat. My boyfriend and I decided on a main dish. When the food finally arrived, I was very disappointed to have waited for a dish that had two lonely baby potatoes, flimsy rice (looked like re-heated-in-a-microwave type of rice), coleslaw (that could have possibly been bought from Sainsbury's basic brand range), and 6 "cubes" of beef. I didn't bother with dessert, which is a rarity. Never again.

I don't typically like to go out to restaurants for steak as I feel like I can cook a pretty great one myself at home, but this place was highly recommended by my girlfriend's coworker. I'm very glad we came, because this was arguably the best steak dinner I have ever had in my life! We ordered the Steak Tartare, Liver, and 700g of the T-Bone steak to share. (This was way too much food for two people, but 700g is the minimum order for T-Bone). We ate so much meat today, I feel like I need to go vegetarian for a day just to balance my body out. Still, every single item was fantastic. The Liver with the roasted onion puree may have been the standout. It was incredibly tender and flavourful, and I don't normally even like to eat liver. The T-Bone steak was also amazing, buttery smooth such that I felt like I could have cut it with a spoon. Service was great as well, with the wait staff being incredibly attentive and kind. Will definitely be returning to Macellaio RC in the future!

The ribeye was cooked perfect and cut like butter. The flavor on it was also perfect. I liked how the potatoes were cooked but they could have used a little more seasoning. The lemon merengue pie was absolutely delicious too and came along with a nice presentation. I highly recommended this place.
