Excellent Argentinian steak house located a stones throw from Her Majesty's Theatre. The inside has a few floors and can accommodate large groups . I had Ancho Ribeye topped with Chimichurri sauce . Quite a full bodied flavor all 300g and I ate every bit of it ! The tomato salad was a nice accompaniment as well as the chips with thyme salt . I also had my new favorite drink - Lychee Blush ( Tanqueray gin , lychee, lemon juice, rhubarb and Peychaud One thing that most steak houses do is charge extra for a bread basket. For me this is not a big deal if I feel like having a slice of bread or a roll I will pay as it is normal at many steak restaurants. The waiter was very attentive, and I can't say enough about the entire dining experience.

Amazing restaurant and selection of beef (all carbon neutral and responsibly sustained) . The restaurant is many levels and beautiful with a great wine selection. Very upscale.

The classic burger with cheese, chips, and watermelon Americano.

Gaucho has a warm ambience and the food is amazing! Staff provide excellent customer service and my server Diego was fabulous! The watermelon Americano non-alcoholic cocktail is a sweet treat. I definitely recommend the baby gem salad, Americano burger and mac & cheese. Delissshh!

I was there with my family from the USA the meal came to us cold. The meat looked great but it was lacking any kind of taste and tenderness. For what we paid it was a waist of money.

Tira de Ancho - spiral cut ribeye marinated in garlic, parsley, and olive oil. Medium Rare. Can cut it with a butter knife!

Gaucho is back! Our group of six had a virtually flawless dinner tonight. Everyone raved about how perfectly their steaks were cooked - filet, sirloin, ribeye, rump - it didn't matter. Everyone was satisfied. I personally got the ribeye - the 500g tira de ancho (spiral cut and marinated with olive oil, garlic, and parsley) cooked medium rare. I was able to slice into it with barely any effort with a dull, serrated butter knife - beef that tender is definitely a mark of superior quality, and perfectly seasoned. Being the last night for business dinner, our group splurged on appetizers including a 5-piece sausage platter (beef, pork, chorizo, etc), empanadas (beef, mozzarella), seared scallops, and a bunch of sides including baked root veggies, fries, asparagus, and French beans. The free bread they served was also good - lots of shapes and textures but I recommend the flat pita-like ones and the balls (like a light garlic cheese puff bread). As for wine, we got a 2011 Malbec. Very good red wine that goes with beef. Yes, they mark it up like 400% compared to the retail price listed on the Wine App, but hey we're in London and the wine was excellent. For dessert (skipping dessert made no sense since I blew away the daily recommended allowance already), I got the sticky toffee with ice cream and kumquats. Pretty interesting contrast of tart and sweet from the various elements - with some added citrus from orange flavored toffee. Definitely will recommend Gaucho again, and look forward to returning here to dine again sometime in the future. Have to recover from my meat coma first

This was my second visit to this Gaucho location, and as usual, they did not disappoint. On my last visit, seated in the dining room on the second floor, our waiter said that we should sit in the third floor dining room because it was "the place to be". On this visit, I was able to reserve a table up there. It was indeed very nice. And as usual, you are escorted to the upstairs dining room by the front of house staff, and when you arrive, the upstairs staff greets you by name. The coordination at this place is simply amazing. At the table, we started off with cocktails and when the waiter mistakenly brought my drink with a lemon instead of a lime, and called it to his attention - he removed the drink and brought me new drink - again with the great service. Our steaks were perfect as usual, as were the frites and the béarnaise sauce. Here is where they never cease to amaze me with excellent service. We each had glasses of malbec with dinner and after we paid the check, our server came over with little cards with the name and vintage written on them. Seriously, it was that awesome.

    The wine is just ok...

The steaks are great, very tender and juicy. The Rib-eye and Fillet are great. The starters are a but disappointing as the salami and Jamon are quite low in quality and very dry and tasteless... The Argentinian wine is not my favourite... the Cabernet Sauvignon is just ok... risk a little a bit to order... but with such price, you can have much better Cabernet Sauvignon... Not sure if I will visit again...

    Tuna appetizer- pretty good

The interior is definitely a cool theme. They have the cow hide everywhere which makes for a great ambiance to a steakhouse. I will start out by saying the bread they give at the table is awesome. The chewy bread was my favorite! We started with the sun dried tomato empanada. Wasnt the best i have had but wasnt bad. The tuna tartare with the avocado was fresh and well made. The risotto cake was a little soggy for my liking and was very salty. The olive tapenade helped cut the salt but overall the dish fell a little flat. All the steaks were also very salty for my taste. The sirloin was a little chewy due to the fat content. The filet mignon was probably the best steak of the bunch. Order that if you come to gaucho. For dessert, The malbec sorbet wasnt a table favorite either. Overall, it is a cool experience due to the ambiance but I would guess there are better steakhouses in london. In my opinion we had a better food experience at Mash.

This was by far one of the best eating experiences I have ever had. The service was great we were seated right away. Our table of 8was served both sparkling and still wanted. Our waiter was sure to explain the specials and the streak(although we are aware) We were given an assortment of bread while we waited paired with herb oil, salt, sea salt and butter. Our orders took a little longer to come, but I'm sure it's because they were made to order. I got the lamb shank pie, a side of chestnut roasted mushrooms and a cafe de leche cocktail. We paid a total of 350. The food was well seasoned and full of flavor! I truly enjoyed myself.. a must go.

The vibe, staff and service here was perfect. Loved the bread and garlic butter and corn they gave as a side, tuna ceviche looked great but wasn't exceptional, and the steak was very well cooked but maybe a little too salty for me. A solid place to dine, but not something I would crave to come back for.

    Excellent steak. Definitely.

The basement has a bar, lounge and restaurant. It was a little noisy. But we could still talk. The roasted scallops were cooked perfectly. The green sauce was tasty. I love the presentation. The Bill Marrow was also good. It was very rich. There were two kinds of Sunday roast a sirloin and a rump. Three of us had the rump roast dinner and three had the sirloin roast dinner. It was hard to tell the difference. All the dinners came with roasted potatoes greens and of course, Yorkshire pudding. It was all delicious. I have to say my favorite part is always the Yorkshire pudding. I also have a green salad, which is basically just lettuce with a light dressing. It was very fresh. We were too full for dessert. The service was excellent. We were seated right away and given water. In the UK, you can order sparkling, still or tap. Sparkling and still come with a charge. Tap is usually free. Our server was attentive without hovering. It's a good idea to make reservations at Hawksmoor especially for the Sunday roast. We got there at three by the time we left around 4:30 some of the roasts were already sold out. Just a note: Sunday roost is usually a late lunch not a dinner. It's good to go between two and four especially if you don't have a reservation.

A really great way to try their variety of meats. First, the portion was absolutely huge - I definitely appreciated how much vegetables there were, the roasted brussels and carrots were delicious. Sides were all good - including the roasted potatoes and yorkshire pudding. The star was the meat of course, my favorite ended up being the lamb which was super tender and flavorful. Loved the crispy pork rind that comes with the pork roast slices and the gravy and sauces on the side really rounded out the meal, added a ton of flavor and made it fun to try the different sauces with the variety of meats. Having visited several of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants before--including Bread Street Kitchen,…read moreGordon Ramsay Burger, and Hell's Kitchen--I came into Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill in Mayfair with fairly high expectations. Thankfully, it lived up to them. One thing that immediately stood out was how intimate the restaurant is. It's probably one of the smallest Gordon Ramsay venues I've visited, which gives it a cozy atmosphere but also makes for a different experience compared to some of his larger restaurants. The service was memorable, although not in the way I expected. When we sat down, I already knew the Beef Wellington was the signature dish and was prepared for the advertised 45-minute wait, but I wasn't quite sure what else to order. Our waiter enthusiastically declared, "I've got this," started saluting us, and proceeded to recommend--and seemingly order--the Beef Wellington, T-bone steak, and steak tartare before fully confirming what we wanted. We had to flag him back down and explain that we probably didn't need an all-meat feast. After some adjustments, we swapped the T-bone and steak tartare for gnocchi, Caesar salad, and green beans. In the end, those changes turned out to be the right call. The Beef Wellington was everything it should be--perfectly cooked, rich, and worth the wait. The green beans with pine nuts were unexpectedly one of the highlights of the meal, packed with flavor and executed beautifully. The gnocchi was also excellent, with a great texture and comforting richness. By the end of the meal, everyone at our table agreed that this was the best meal we had during our time in London. That's saying a lot considering the city's incredible dining scene. My only real complaint is the restroom situation. The bathroom is tucked behind what feels like a hidden doorway, and there are very few signs directing you there. Overall, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill delivered exactly what I was hoping for: outstanding food, memorable service, and a meal that stood out among everything else we ate in London. If you're debating whether the Beef Wellington is worth ordering, the answer is absolutely yes.

This gives us a reason to come back again.
