    The trainwreck

This was probably one of the best meals I've had in a very long time! The restaurant had a very friendly environment and I loved the openness. We started with an appetizer special of garlic crab claws (I didn't get a picture of these). The quantity and quality of food was superb! My husband chose the train wreck, which consisted of two beef, fillets, pork belly, fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese grits, and conecuh crab sauce, and topped off with a fried egg. It was delicious. I chose the shipwreck as my meal, which was two beef fillets, conrcuh creamed , two crabcakes, green beans topped with a delicious shrimp sauce. The flavors were absolutely delicious! I think I would choose this meal every single time! The service was great and next time we're in the area, we will definitely be eating at the gather!

The food was amazing!!! A tender filet, silky mashed potatoes, and a chocolate butter cake that you will dream about tonight!!! The service was excellent!! Emily kept our drinks full and was warm and friendly! Perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. The ambience was sweet and romantic with a modern twist on older decor. Beautiful and inviting.

The hours drive was worth it! Let me just say the service ....top notch! From the hostess, manager, Chefs and waitress amazing. You enter and to the right is a quaint little bar with a nice variety of drinks. The main room has plenty of comfortable seating with pockets of cozy areas to sit. I loved the round tables as opposed to the basic long table. Makes it feel more personable. The open view to the kitchen /Chefs area is amazing to watch the meal prep process and the attention to detail on the presentation. The decor is fun, industrial and comes with plenty of history. Private outdoor area for group gatherings. Loved that the manager took her time to walk me around and told me the history of the restaurant. Now, let's get to the food. I cannot say enough about the food. Very generous with their portions. The Brussel Sprouts are a MUST! Everything placed in front of us was amazing. Filet Mignon made just right. We just passed around the plates for everyone at the table to try. The collards were by far the best I've had. We just won't tell Gran that. The Wine selection for dinner was very good. A lot to choose from. The desserts were ridiculously good. All in all worth the drive! Looking forward to going back. Parking: Plenty Price: $$$ (worth it) Drinks: Good Variety Bathrooms: Clean Service: Outstanding

Went to honor our Dad on his 88th birthday. Our server Eric was very attentive to our table, the Chef's Table. When our food came two of the steaks were over cooked, when the manager came to the table she was rather condescending upon hearing our concerns. When returning with the corrected order, she remained condescending. Other than the manager's attitude, our time was enjoyable and the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Inspire of not seeing the Chef while sitting at their table.

The food exceeded our expectations. We ordered the filet and the red snapper, and both dishes were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. Between the exceptional service, incredible food, and great atmosphere, this was a memorable evening. We can't wait to come back!

We look forward to coming back every year, and it never disappoints. Aaron was our server a few weeks ago and was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to explain all of the specials thoroughly, gave us some great recommendations, and was incredibly attentive throughout our entire meal. You can tell he genuinely knows the menu and wants his guests to have a great experience. As for the food, the miso scallops are an absolute must and, hands down, my favorite thing on the menu! My boyfriend always gets a steak, and they are consistently cooked to perfection. Definitely make sure to try the salmon crudo and oysters as well- they're both delicious. And whatever you do, save room for a dessert cocktail! The limoncello carajillo is absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. This is one of those places we come back to year after year, and it's always a highlight of our trip. Great food, great service, and such a memorable experience every time! Side note- please keep the Dolce Vita martini on the menu forever!

She took the time to go over all the specials and let us know that everything is made in house since it's a scratch kitchen, which was a nice touch. We arrived right when they opened, and the restaurant filled up fast, so it's definitely a popular spot. We ordered the George Fries, and they were absolutely loaded! The portion was huge and could easily feed two people as an appetizer. For my entrée, I had the Truffle Chicken Alfredo, and it was delicious. The noodles were thick, chewy, and cooked perfectly, and the sauce was rich without being too heavy. It also happened to be my boyfriend's and my anniversary, and the staff surprised us with a complimentary chocolate cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We were so full that we had to wait until we got home to enjoy it! Overall, the food, service, and hospitality were all amazing. Definitely a 10/10 experience, and we'll be back the next time we're in town!

I was so impressed by the wine and libations menu. I had two glasses of a nice French Sauvignon blanc. My husband enjoyed the whiskey selection. We all enjoyed appetizers- heirloom tomato and burrata salad with yummy bread and a special of the day- crab claws in a white wine butter sauce with grilled lemon. Both divine. The lamb burger was perfectly seasoned and everyone enjoyed my truffle fries. The homemade tzatziki sauce was perfectly balanced and just delicious. The lobster rolls were stuffed with fresh, sweet lobster and the basil aioli the perfect compliment. Such a great value. My girls' likened it to lobster rolls we get in Maine. The blackened fish sandwich had a nice, bold Cajun flavor and the pickled cucumbers were the perfect match in acidity. Overall, one of the best meals we had on our entire trip!! I'm convinced anything you get here will be fantastic.

It honestly feels a little like you stumbled into a hidden spot on vacation. The food was solid across the board. You can tell they actually care about what they're serving, everything tasted fresh, not heavy or overdone. The menu has a great mix, from burgers to pasta and seafood, so it's easy to find something no matter what you're in the mood for. The shrimp and grits and the pasta dishes are delicious , and even the appetizers were on point. Service was just as good, friendly, attentive, but not hovering. You don't feel rushed, which is rare these days. What really makes this place though is the vibe. Whether you sit inside or out, it's got that relaxed, slightly upscale but still comfortable feel. If you're in Fairhope and want somewhere that feels local (not touristy), this is it. Easy 5 stars. Will definitely go back!!

The only negative was the meatballs were a little dry. Would definitely go back though.
