The selection of food, snacks, drinks, and Buc-ee's merchandise is impressive, and the breakfast sandwiches are definitely worth grabbing for the road. Also, do not pass on the jerky, fresh, delicious, and a wide variety of flavors! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restrooms were exceptionally clean--which is a huge plus on a road trip. I love how the restrooms have red and green lights to let you know if they are available. There's also plenty of parking and lots of pumps, so getting in and out is easy. Overall, Buc-ee's is certainly not just a gas station--it's an experience. Consider a free to visit attraction! Great food, great service, a fun atmosphere, and some of the cleanest facilities you'll find on the road. I'll definitely be stopping here again!

We were heading up north on a road trip and even though we would be passing other Buc-ees locations, we decided to check this one out since it was new to us. I like visiting different locations to see what their themes are regarding designs based on the location. For example, the Daytona location has race car flags in their themed items. I did not find anything here that was distinct to St. Augustine though. I mean it could be because I was so distracted with the chaos that I didn't see anything. Like any other locations, this location also has several food options and is always stocked up. You can find almost everything here. They even have seasonal themed items for the holidays! I have been to this location I think 2-3 times and it is always busy, like all locations. The cashiers work very quickly so the lines move fast.

It is also across the street from Adamec Harley-Davidson. This Shell is competitively priced and the inside has the usual convenience store items though the clerk working deemed finishing her task far more important than dealing with the three people waiting in line. It was not a huge delay, but to be ignored without even an explanation for a few minutes was not the best way to offer customer service, at least in my opinion. The gas station is kind of small and the driveway is a little bit tight. However, the convenience that it offers from the Interstate 95 exit ramp makes it an attractive choice for gasoline. There is a KFC across the street if you want to combine this gas stop with a food run, as well. Its location is impressively convenient, sitting just a short glide from the onramp, which takes all the stress out of topping off or grabbing something to go when you are trying to keep your day moving. There is plenty of room at the pumps, and the whole forecourt feels open and easy to navigate. I especially liked the covered walkway that runs from the pump area to the store. I did not need it on this clear morning, but it is exactly the kind of thoughtful feature that will come in handy on a rainy or sweltering Florida day. There is a covered dining area outside as well. And since they're a Shell products distributor, you'll get a fuel discount with your Shell Rewards card at the pump. Inside, the store is bright and well stocked, with a wide range of snacks, drinks, sandwiches, and even hot food ready to go.
