Also, do not pass on the jerky, fresh, delicious, and a wide variety of flavors! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restrooms were exceptionally clean--which is a huge plus on a road trip. I love how the restrooms have red and green lights to let you know if they are available. There's also plenty of parking and lots of pumps, so getting in and out is easy. Overall, Buc-ee's is certainly not just a gas station--it's an experience. Consider a free to visit attraction! We were heading up north on a road trip and even though we would be passing other Buc-ees locations, we decided to check this one out since it was new to us. I like visiting different locations to see what their themes are regarding designs based on the location. For example, the Daytona location has race car flags in their themed items. I did not find anything here that was distinct to St. Augustine though. I mean it could be because I was so distracted with the chaos that I didn't see anything. Like any other locations, this location also has several food options and is always stocked up. You can find almost everything here. They even have seasonal themed items for the holidays! I have been to this location I think 2-3 times and it is always busy, like all locations. The cashiers work very quickly so the lines move fast.

This Shell is competitively priced and the inside has the usual convenience store items though the clerk working deemed finishing her task far more important than dealing with the three people waiting in line. It was not a huge delay, but to be ignored without even an explanation for a few minutes was not the best way to offer customer service, at least in my opinion. The gas station is kind of small and the driveway is a little bit tight. However, the convenience that it offers from the Interstate 95 exit ramp makes it an attractive choice for gasoline. There is a KFC across the street if you want to combine this gas stop with a food run, as well. My first couple of times stopping by I was a little dismayed that the line to check out was so long. However I work directly behind this particular location so I'm kinda stuck with no other options unless I want to spend 20+ minutes at 13 different traffic lights just to get .2 miles away to the Wawa (which i LOVE) and that simply isn't always feasible. The people that work here are pretty cool tho so that helps. It also helps that they hate Daily's as much as I do!
