The location of this store is in front of Gate Headquarters, so it has no choice but to be top notch. The store has all your convenience store essentials like blunt wrappers, malt liquor, condoms, lottery tickets, etc. They also sell gasoline; the price is in line with the other stores around. So if you looking at being intoxicated, fueling up your car, or just need a can of gas for other reasons then Gate is for you. Seriously the store has been remodeled in recent years and it stays pretty clean and the crew is always friendly.

Because of the pumps being out- it makes it a little more interesting to get gas here- for the time being. I was able to pull right into a pump, but others were waiting for spots to free up to pull in. Prices here are a little higher than other stations around Jax- but I swear where, if it's near the interstate- it's hiked a few pennies! And this location is off 295. As far as grabbing gas- pumps are fast, it's painless to pump here! When they wrap up the construction it will be back to 4 star gas!!!

Very cool! It's also open 24/7! There's everything you'd expect from a convenience store and more. There hot food such as different kinds of hot dogs/sausages to choose from, tamales (beef and chicken - highly recommend both), and what they call "Tornados" which are basically like taquitos (they even have breakfast types in the morning). They have many types of cold sandwiches to choose from and fruit selections. Different types of slushies, and they even have a milkshake machine. The milkshake machine is really cool and they are actually really good. Here's a tip, if you get a milkshake, choose "thick thick." I got one for my husband and chose "thick think" to mess with him, but it was actually the perfect consistency. If I would have chosen either of the two "lower" selections, the milkshake would have been way too runny. Also, they have a Yobe Yogurt inside here. There's 8 different flavour machine and they have a toppings bar. Having a froyo craving at 3am? Well, now you have a place to get it! Amazaballs!! And before I forget, the various types of coffees they have here are just mind-boggling. You're certain to be able to find your perfect flavour. There's also the frap machine! Yay frap! This is definitely the future of the convenience store!

I guess it might just be the area in St Johns County. The parking lot is always clean and definitely not a lock of pumps. The inside of the store is well maintained with lottery. They do have a air pump station for those unfortunate flats and cold weather days when your TPM is reading low. There is a cost though to operate the machine, .50 cents I believe. They offer a very good selection of drinks, snacks, quick to go meals and bathrooms for the public. Anytime I have had interaction with employees, it has been a positive experience.

The store had over 40 people in it and only a few with masks. The employees should speak up. Whoever the cashier was wasn't friendly nor helpful with ny ex asked about one of their griller items. It went well for me and Gate. We finished the job on time and gave them a good product. Now that was about 18 years ago. I walked in as I always do my years after and look around to see how the place has held up. While I wondered around I ran into the manager. She is still her the original manager of the place. Holy cow that's a long time. The place still looks good and everything even on the shelves were in place and clean front to back. The bathroom (men's) was still clean and well stocked. The place sure looked good for it's age. When we built this store there was;t nothing around here. We had to drive back into OP to eat lunch. Now I'm back to build another Maple Street just down the road.

One of the employees (maybe manager?), Art, is usually there in the early morning and is always super friendly and chipper...even at 6:15AM. The other store employees are also quite friendly and I have yet to encounter one that isn't. This gas station is usually the cheapest one in FI along US 17 btwn the bridge and CR 220 (usually just by a penny or two though.) The friendly faces and yummy coffee are what brings me in on a regular basis.
