I thought that was rude, but continued to check out. Then after I was done, she did not say "thank you", or "enjoy your day" or anything like that, she said "you are free to go"... I don't know what prison she worked at before, but this is not customer service! Please train or hire better employees.

Plus, the staff is always super friendly and understanding. We like to come here for grocery type items in addition to getting gas. But what we really like is the car wash. However, the dang thing likes to act up a lot and/or not give you what you paid for. That is not a reason to mark down any stars...why? Well, if you just let the staff know they'll give you your money back or another car wash. I love it when you find a place with no hassles and has everything you need. Woot! On an ending note, the location is awesome on US 1 and near the Nocatee turn off.

The store is spotless, well-organized, and surprisingly easy to navigate despite its size. The real stars, though, are the food. The brisket sandwich is absolutely worth the hype--fresh, tender, smoky, and piled high. Don't leave without grabbing some of their fresh jerky, either. With so many flavors to choose from, it's easy to find a favorite. And then there are the bathrooms. I know it sounds strange to rave about a restroom, but Buc-ee's truly deserves the recognition. They are, without question, the cleanest public bathrooms I've ever used while traveling. That alone makes Buc-ee's a must-stop on any road trip. Even with the crowds, the employees are friendly, the checkout lines move incredibly fast, and the whole operation runs like a well-oiled machine. I guess it might just be the area in St Johns County. The parking lot is always clean and definitely not a lock of pumps. The inside of the store is well maintained with lottery. They do have a air pump station for those unfortunate flats and cold weather days when your TPM is reading low. There is a cost though to operate the machine, .50 cents I believe. They offer a very good selection of drinks, snacks, quick to go meals and bathrooms for the public. Anytime I have had interaction with employees, it has been a positive experience.

No toilet paper in either stall holders, thank goodness for the lesson from Germany to always carry napkins! Went to the counter no one comes to assist me, look out the window and the cashier is standing outside talking. She comes in and I tell her about the need for toilet paper in the restrooms, she must have been speaking to her supervisor because she asked where it was located. Went to pump my gas and there was a problem with the pump, so I went back inside and this young lady BACK outside taking a smoke break! Another employee was coming on shift and didn't even acknowledge me, because she wasn't on the clock yet I suppose, but she didn't say anything to the girl outside either. When she comes back inside she has to count her register! I got fed up and went to pay at the pump, which I don't like to do! Need a new team or re-training!

Scan your membership card and enter payment and fill up your tank! We had seen the signs that the gas station was getting renovations and were pleasantly surprised to see they kept gas pumps open during the work. Beware- weekends can yield crazy lines. It's supposed to be one way in, one way out- but there is always someone who has to go the wrong way. The pumps have extra long hoses to reach the other side of your car- but for my SUV, it's tight to pull in on the wrong side. I would rather wait. Cars probably have an easier time with that. Gas pumps are kept clean and it relatively easy to get in and out.
