It's HoogieFest time at Wawa. Yesterday, I did an online sandwich order. It consisted of a hot meatball sub, 2 turkey subs, 2 roast beef subs, and an Italian sub. 6 sandwiches total, and I only paid about $26. During HoggieFest, the large subs are only $6 each, and using their new(ish) reward program, it was easy to save up enough points for 2 free large sandwiches. What a deal. Plus, it was waiting for me when I arrived a few minutes later to pick it up. They were all enjoyed by everyone. Always, a great quick meal. read more

I am writing a review for a store I've never been inside of. There is a reason I am giving them a good review and that is the gas pumps. I don't want to call out Gate gas stations, but their pump handles are so tough to squeeze that I always make a mess putting fuel in my motorcycle and any motorcyclist will tell you they don't like to get fuel on their tank, hands and clothes. Additionally, because of the tough handle squeeze I can't top off the tank the way I like. Wawa's pump handles are perfect. I prefer to fuel up at this location. I can control the flow of fuel and I can top off the tank the way I like. As simple as it is, I like this location because I can fill up my motorcycle the way I prefer. read more

Disappointed again i really want this Wawa to be good...sigh. The wawa app doesnt list all the condiments under sub toppings so your forced to go in and use one of their kiosks. Their webmaster needs to review the app. Also, got a bagel toasted with cream cheese ( just chose regular cc amount) and bagel was not toasted and barely any vream vheese. Wawa is spreading through jax like wild fire. I am not super familiar with them as i live off Racetrack and there wasn't one close until now. I got the spicy Italian hoagie not toasted and bread was pretty hard and flavorless. But it is a gas station and they had a spicy relish on it that i could've just eaten on a cracker or by itself it was sweet spicy and had the perfect amount of tang. They have a coffee shop section lots of ready made sandwiches/wraps and a ton of icee machines. I will have to come back and try another sandwich or burger to see if the bread was just not a good batch today. read more

Ordered curbside pickup and got to location 15 minutes later. No one came out for 20 minutes after we checked in to the app. Went inside and asked about my order, and was told they were slammed and that there was like 30 orders ahead of ours ..... So we waited another 20 minutes and asked the cashier to please cancel and give us a refund. They said you have to call corporate to get a refund, and there's nothing they can do. We said ok fine, and decided to wait. After standing there for AN HOUR we ask again about the order, and the "supervisor" says oh, we thought you got a refund, and didn't make our order. Meanwhile as people are standing around for hours waiting for orders, there are only 2 people making sandwiches the entire time. The customer service supervisor named "Michael" did not jump in to help his team get caught up on the backlog, or do anything whatsoever. They had another employee wiping windows while these 2 slaved away making order after order to no avail. Michael stood around picking his nose, nonchalantly walking around the store doing other low priority meaningless tasks, when his number one priority should have been helping his crew get the customer orders out and satisfied. Additionally, a woman was there to pick up a doordash delivery who lost her pay because them taking so long. Owner if you read this, you need to FIRE that lazy slob of a manager MICHAEL. read more

I watched this Wawa store (100 Bartram Market Dr, Saint Johns, FL 32259) being built during my periodic walks in this area. I was excited because my experience at Wawa gas stations was generally positive. My thoughts included having a local Wawa would be convenient for me especially since it is located in a mostly white neighborhood where services are much better than in non-white neighborhoods. Much to my surprise and utter disappointment, the services at this Wawa gas station quickly eroded very fast: - There in consistently no paper in the hand towel holders - I MEAN NONE! - The windshield washer stations are consistently totally dry - NOT A DROP OF WATER! - If these visible areas are deficient, what is the condition of hygiene in the food-serving areas of the store??? If this is the standard of a new facility in the predominantly white neighborhood, you can imagine conditions in non-white neighborhoods. Very disappointed in Wawa for whom I had such admiration and promise. read more

We stopped in a few days ago. My first impression as I stepped outside the car was "what a dump". The landscape areas were littered with garbage and cigarette butts. Not to mention, the music inside (if that's what you want to call it) was blaring and offensive. Not what should be greeting customers. For a BRAND NEW store in a brand new area, this is sad. If it was my store, you can bet I'd want to make it as appealing to my customers as possible. And I would start by cleaning out the nasty landscape. That IS the first impression as you drive up. There are other, even older stores that are so much more pleasant. My husband called your store "an expensive brand new piece of #*&@!! To whoever owns this store, you might want to hone in on your management team. After all, employees are only as good as their managers. Through respect and guidance, you could have a very nice store worthy of this area. read more
