I have been cleaning up outside this store each day for two years because of how mad it was getting. I finally called the manager, Medai Gomez (sp?) to discuss how to make the situation better and she was super defensive. I told her that as just a community service, I had been been picking up the trash outside this store for two years. She said they have employees picking up but I told her it is just not enough as I clean up at least a huge bag of trash there every single day. She proceeded to then say, "If you don't like it, then don't come here." I won't be buying gas there again. She then said she was going to hang up on me. So much for being a good business in the community.

Plus, the staff is always super friendly and understanding. We like to come here for grocery type items in addition to getting gas. But what we really like is the car wash. However, the dang thing likes to act up a lot and/or not give you what you paid for. That is not a reason to mark down any stars...why? Well, if you just let the staff know they'll give you your money back or another car wash. I love it when you find a place with no hassles and has everything you need. Woot! On an ending note, the location is awesome on US 1 and near the Nocatee turn off.

I guess it might just be the area in St Johns County. The parking lot is always clean and definitely not a lock of pumps. The inside of the store is well maintained with lottery. They do have a air pump station for those unfortunate flats and cold weather days when your TPM is reading low. There is a cost though to operate the machine, .50 cents I believe. They offer a very good selection of drinks, snacks, quick to go meals and bathrooms for the public. Anytime I have had interaction with employees, it has been a positive experience.

I will say my windows didn't look that clean after my car wash, which was a bit of a bummer. I took my time vacuuming out my car and let me tell you these vacuums were powerful. Seriously, it sucked up even the tiniest crumbs and sand. They also had complimentary car mat cleaners. I didn't try these, because I was assuming that this machine was for upholstered floor mats and not rubber ones. He acknowledged me almost immediately, however after I explained what I found and gave it to him in case someone comes back, he and the other man started laughing about how whoever forgot it will realize when they go to get out of the car and can't! I was honestly shocked and just walked out. The lack of empathy and sympathy, or at least holding their tongues astonished me.
