Expensive. Impossible to make appointment. Gave me a bad prescription for glasses/contacts.

Dr. Chander is wonderful. It's great to have an independent eye doctor whose office is easy to…read morereach. The frame selection here is basic which made it hard to choose a suitable frame. I wish that the optician had informed me truthfully of the composition of my frames when I asked but ultimately she did an excellent job taking measurements and breaking out my options and their costs. I sorely regret that I was unable to go in within 30 days of receiving my complete glasses. My prescription was incorrect and now I often rely on my old glasses for many activities. Still, I'd return here in a heartbeat for my annual visit since it wasn't their fault that I couldn't make it in. I trust wholeheartedly that Dr. Chander would help make any corrections and refinements necessary. Their staff is knowledgeable of their own policies and they heavily discount exams for Medicaid patients (or at least they did when I last went in 2024). I only thought to review because they sent me a reminder text to return for an annual visit. Please consider coming here before heading over to a big chain retailer.

I always found his staff friendly and helpful, especially when I had a couple urgent issues over the years - they always fit me in very quickly. I had a proof of how Dr Igoe treats his customers when my husband had an emergency: even though he is NOT a patient, just a spouse of one, Dr came to the office just to see him ON HIS DAY OFF! What more could one ask for? I also appreciate his very dry sense of humor!

He told my…read morehusband he didn't need glasses and now has to see a another doctor to see if he needs glasses. He still is having a hard time seeing. Now myself. I went to him the first time and he gave me a script. I took my script to Costco because they have a great price. I waited for the script and I wore them for a week to get adjusted but was still having a hard time seeing. I went back to Costco and they said that was the script given. I almost got in a car accident. So I went back to Dr. Igoe and he said he accidentally gave me the wrong script. He jokingly said " I think you were just lying" He wrote a note to Costco and said he gave me the wrong script. I was patiently waiting for another pair of glasses. I got them and I was so upset I couldn't see out of them. I was upset while at Costco and the girl asked to see my old glasses. She said I must have gotten the wrong script again. My old glasses and the new script are way off. They said that eyes don't change that much. I sent Dr. Igoe's office all the paper work and tried to talk to the staff. All they said was they were going to give me my records as requested. She was rude on the phone when I tried to ask questions. Dr. Igoe has yet to call me to help. I no longer would want to go to them. Very rude. I foster Veterans in my home. Each time I have running around to do I have to pay for a caregiver to come to the home. The gas I have to use running back and forth. The money out of pocket for the glasses my insurance doesn't cover. The money for the co-pays for his office. The aggravation Myself and Costco has to deal with and he doesn't even have the nerve to call me or talk to me when I called the office. I have all the paper work. Now I have to start all over again. It's very frustrating because I trusted going here. Now my mom is scared to go there and now we have to find another doctor for her. She's 80 years old and is upset also. I highly recommend doing your homework before going here. This was a horrible experience and I'm still having to deal with this. Given the amount of time and energy that I put forth, I'm not looking for compensation; I just hope this doesn't happen to other patients.
