Take this as you might. I care for my elderly and sick mother and my opinion is based on what she…read moretells me and what I see when I take her to the Berwyn clinic. They keep strictly week day hours which is common amongst specialists. However this seems to result in their over booking patients for 15 min slots that result in longer and longer visits as the day progresses. Visits typically last 30-45 minutes but people check in stating they have appointments 15 minutes apart. So if you make an appointment early in the day you will be out in 30-45 minutes. If your appointment is later, good luck getting out by the 2 hour mark. My mother has stated that two of the doctors are kind and nice but a third is rather rude and ignores her complaints of pain. They do make payment arrangements for her care relatively simple but after the last visit and 2 hour stay. I believe it is time to find my mother a different clinic. They show little care for the comfort of elderly patients or the fact that their endurance levels are much less than their own.

Dr. Rubin always seems to remember me and ask me about my life, which is above and beyond his job. Also, the woman assistant (can't think of her name) who does a lot his work is just great- friendly and helpful! The downfall is that their prices for glasses and contacts are very expensive- I would never order from them. Also, he seems to be a doctor only to senior citizens. Sitting in the waiting room is like lounging at a Bingo hall. And you will wait a long time- it's standard to wait 15-30 minutes at this place. But other than that, I'm a fan.

Explanations were provided throughout my visit as needed. The young lady helped me determine the best shape and fit for me unlike my previous eye specialist no opinions or suggestions were ever given. I believe the exam was in-depth and more detailed than my previous place. Please look into a quality eye center prior to looking for places with deals or great specials only. I found my experience to be better. It's on a main street and parking is available on the side street and across the street next to the liquor store.

I was attempting to order new contacts and was rushed off the phone by quick, short answers..not willing to explore or look into options or explaining the significant change in price from my last order. felt brushed off. if you don't have time to sit with the person on the other end then please don't answer the phone in the first place. pretty rude in my opinion. looks like I'll try calling on another day when the other friendly staff is in.
