I would implore you not to make any assumptions about your customers. According to your response your assuming my family member has memory issues. They may be elderly with certain health conditions but they do not have any memory issues nor been diagnosed with any. They remember fully what transpired doing business with you and would like you to rerun the $5000 you received in payment for hearing aids they never consented to, never tried or received.

Today I went to the Niles office and told the receptionist that the left ear is defective. She told me that it would me $400 to send it out for repair and$65 for the office visit. That's ridiculous, what happens then if the right ear hearing aid also malfunctions? Another $465 ? Repairs possibly totaling $925 for both ears? No sir! I'm done with these people! If I'm gonna pay nearly a thousand dollars, out of pocket then I might as well buy new hearing aids with a three year warranty. I went to Costco and ordered a brand new set of hearing aids for $1399, with a 3 year warranty and NO charge for office visits.

After receiving my hearing aids, I couldn't believe the difference. They are so easy to wear, the pre-set setting was perfect for me and I could not be more pleased. Love everything about them. My husband previously had very expensive hearing aids that were getting older and the cost to repair them was more than a new pair from Sound World. He too is just thrilled with his new hearing aids. And they are expensive and should be covered by Medicare! So that makes people crabby and truthfully, sometimes unreasonable. I was fortunate to have a minuscule amount of the total cost covered by my insurance company, IF I went to this provider. I figured I'd get mediocre service and a less than great product. But that didn't happen. Diane Leahy is a caring, knowledgeable and, professional audiologist. She provided me solutions for problems I was having regarding communication. Explained the science behind it and gave me tools to help myself. I love my hearing aids (Starkey brand, in the canal) and are so happy--they brought me back into the world!! I am delighted how they integrate with the app on my phone! I hear my phone calls and podcasts directly in my HAs! The staff at both locations are superior. I've had great interactions with Natalie at the Arlington Heights office and the very warm and caring young lady at the Glenview location. Sorry I can't remember her name right now! I knew I needed hearing aids because I was tested at two other places and I knew their cost was not covered by my insurance. What really impressed me was Justin's service and congeniality. I felt he only cared about making me hear better - not the bottom line. What I loved about my experience there and sealed the deal were two things: First their 30 day trial period. No other company that I contacted offered that. There were no gimmicks and for whatever reason, if I decided not to purchase them, I could return them within 30 days and nothing would be charged to me. That was an amazing offer that was hard to refuse. But it was the second thing that rocked my world. I asked for the phone number of the company's owner because I wanted to talk with him. I had a question and wanted to hear directly from him. I was given the number and called on a Saturday afternoon, not really expecting to hear from anyone until sometime the following week if I was lucky. But surprisingly, within 15 minutes of my call, Mike Marino called me from his son's barbecue to answer my question. I was so impressed with the customer service, that when I hung up, I said to myself if after the 30 day period I'm happy with my hearing aids, there would be no hesitation to purchase them. And so I did. It has been 15 months since I've owned my hearing aids. Every three months, I go for the recommended service calls, and it's always a pleasant experience. On my last visit, I thought something was wrong with my hearing aids, but it turned out that I had wax built up in both ears. They recommended that I have my doctor clean my ears out and then come in again. I did that and all is good. You just can't ask for better care and service than that! We were there for a few hours, but I'd say you really need a whole day if you want to attempt to see everything.

A visit to The Art Institute was a perfect way to spend a rainy Chicago morning. While I love to roam around museums aimlessly and without much a plan, I knew I only really wanted to spend about 2 hours here. I grabbed a pamphlet, downloaded the museums free app and strolled with a bit of intention. This is a really incredible museum and I got to see so many famous works for the very first time: American Gothic, Nighthawks, and A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte just to name a few! It was not too crowded or busy at all and the security and staff were all so friendly and helpful. In just under two hours, I saw all of the pieces I was hoping too, while also spending lots of time just wandering around. I absolutely recommend a visit!
