Very poor customer service!!! I scheduled my appointment online but upon arrival was told that I did not have an appointment. The receptionist told me that I was wrong; that the last appointment for the day had occurred and that they were done for the day. She went to her computer and asked my name. She then indicated that I was not listed. When I confirmed that I had made my appointment online, she indicated that the online scheduling does not always work. Well, why in the hell are they offering it as an option! No apologize was offered. I plan to return to my former doctor. read more

Trying to make this as short as possible. Went for an eye exam. I was wearing my glasses. I brought with me frames and I just wanted lenses put in to match the glasses I have on.. waited two weeks did not hear anything, finally I called and they have been sitting there, nobody called to tell me my new glasses were in.. Could not see out of them.. just returned there today, they are telling me it is almost the same prescription?? I did not want almost, I wanted them to match.. then Doctor Stephanie comes to say hello. Told her I just wanted the same lenses in my black glasses put in these. She tried to tell me that I did not wear the black glasses to the appointment?? I was a little taken back and I told don't tell me what I wore, she right away said I was being argumentative after basically telling me I did not wear what I said I did... so after all this time I still do not have my glasses, who knows how much longer I will have to wait. Due to changes in vision plan, we had to look for a new eye doctor. We decided on Vision Source. I appreciate their screening adjustments due to COVID-19 precautions eg. wearing masks and limited capacity. Dr. Stephanie was fantastic and helped me to get the correct prescription for my eyes. Still waiting for my glasses and recently got fitted for a trial of new contact lenses too. Staff is friendly and we will be back. read more

I am 64 and have worn glasses for 55 years. This is the most thorough and comprehensive exam ever. Unfortunately, or probably fortunately for me Doctor Stephanie found early macular degeneration and an issue with my corneas. How this has never been found is beyond me. So I'm confident that I will be referred to the proper places if necessary and I will follow up with the regimen she recommended. Just had the best experience with Dr. Stephanie DiGiorgio! Dr. Stephanie is thorough and detailed. I've never had eye exam where the doctor showed such personal interest and listened that intently to my concerns. As she showed the test results, she made sure I understood everything she was describing. She also took the time to explain any suggestions she had for me. There was no rushing of the visit. Joe DiGiorgio was just as kind and detailed in helping with the selection of frames. He was generous with his reasons why certain frames were better for my prescription needs. He was patient and thorough when getting all the measurements for the prescription - double checking all his info. The front staff is very hospitable and professional. I has been 2 years since I posted my review. I just had my annual check up and met Dr. Stephanie. She performed my eye exam. She was very thorough and answered all my questions. I never feel rushed during my appointment. Dana helped me select my glasses. She is very helpful. Since I have been coming here for over 20 years I have quite a bit of history with Dana and feel she knows my personality quite well, which is such a help when you really want an honest opinion. In the end we selected the first pair of glasses I was drawn to. That was her first choice for me too! Now I am excited to receive them! read more

Service is good, but... I'm sitting in the exam room after sitting in the waiting area over 1 1/2 hours. Needless to say I'm pretty aggravated. The exam is for contacts & glasses for my daughter who I only see every other weekend. This presents a problem as I booked the appointment scheduled a month ago. We were told there was a staff scheduling issue and apologies were made for the wait. Essentially, after all was done we spent over 3 hours in the office. Considering this is only the 2nd visit here in 18 months the wait was still excessive the first time as well. The folks are extremely nice, helpful and work well together. They REALLY need to work on scheduling. If I knew if be spending most of my morning here I would have planned my day differently. Overall, good professional place but it's so important to be ON TIME! read more

The worst experience with doctor's office ever. On November 30 I went to Vision Source in Orland Park with eye infection. They charged me $125.00 and they also charged my insurance. They informed me I would get a refund if my insurance would pay for my visit. The insurance paid Vision Source $100.00 in December. They didn't make any refund . I went there on January 13 to ask what happened with my refund. I was informed that the check was issued on January 2 but they were very busy and they didn't have time to mail the check to me. They promised to mail the check the next day. I received email from Vision Source that they mailed the check to me and I should receive it soon.After a few days my insurance agent called Vision Source and asked what happened they didn't mail my refund to me. They said they mailed my refund to a wrong address by mistake . They promised to mail another check . It is January 23 and I haven't received my refund yet. I will never visit this medical office again. I am going to file a complaint on Vision Source in Orland Park to Medicare and CMS. I am very disappointed . read more

What a relief to be able to turn to the trusted eye care professionals at Vision Source. This time, I had a minor medical procedure that required attention. I've had what felt like a granule or scratch of some kind in in my eye for 3+ weeks. The issue was improving or healing. I called Vision Source and the staff squeezed me in the same day, thanks to Dr. Steph. Dr. Brauer tended to my issue and got to the bottom of the problem, a small strand of something that was hard to see with the naked eye. Dr. Brauer used a dye and found the source. The small object could not be removed without applying local anesthetic and then gently swabbing it out of my eye. What a difference! No pain, no more frustrating eye irritation. What a great outcome - I can't thank Dr. Brauer enough. I also want to give a special shout out to all the Vision Source team - they are top to bottom, second to none (especially Dr. Steph and now Dr. Brauer covering for her in her absence). read more

They will keep an eye on your eyes. Great place to go for your eye exam, and check-up. Very friendly staff, they explain everything from the time your appointment starts till you finish and check over your insurance.
