Based on the previous statement made by that 1 star reviewer: Cement/Concrete Trucks weigh approximately 26,000 lbs and carry approximately 40,000 lbs of mixer (cement, water, sand, gravel, etc. = Concrete) when fully loaded at 10 cubic yards...Totaling to 66,000 lbs!!!
If you decide to drive next to 7 fully grown elephants, then you sir/miss, are either reckless or ignorant. No one should try to distract or cause problems for those drivers driving this massive death machine. The drivers who drive this truck have one purpose: to drive safely. If a piece of rock aka concrete came from the truck you, are mistaken. I order concrete from this manufacturer all the time, maybe 2-3 times per month, and have worked with them for many years. The staff I have witnessed at the delivery site do the job correctly to prevent any residue from the concrete to enter the storm drains. While they check their trucks for any signs of hardening of cement that turns into concrete, they clear it and dump it back inside the barrel of their truck.
At this time, on their way back, is the only time the "rock" could form and fall out of the truck, but they have a lid that seals the back hole in the truck to prevent that from happening. So, hitting your car with a "rock" is highly unlikely.
On a side note:
If you wish to order concrete from anywhere, not only Gary Bale, know your information before you call. Your Mix(sand/gravel ratio), Amount you need (yards), psi (pounds per square inch), location, and time.
They are very busy and therefore you should be thorough and precise when you call them. They don't have the time to educate every customer who calls. However, if you wish to know specific facts or details about their blends of concrete, they will direct you to their experts who can answer those questions.
That's it, and thank you for taking the time to read this review! read more
