Run as far and as fast as you can from here. About10 minutes into our over 20 minute wait, my husband and I noticed a sad, lonely sub sitting ignored on the front counter. 10 minutes later when our order was finally called, we realized that the supposed to be hot sub that had been sitting out for so long on the customer counter in a chilly room belonged to my husband. For some reason they made his item, let it sit 10 minutes and then made mine. During this time we were treated to the counter girl (short, with a light brown pony tail) loudly laughing and making fun of a customer who had called in a complaint about their order. Way to go on professionalism. We got home and I opened my sub which I had asked for no lettuce on. I didn't notice anything off at first due to the tzatziki having a lot of garlic. Took my first bite and IMMEDIATELY spit it out. I can deal with an order request being overlooked, but there was an easily identifiable and totally overwhelming taste of rot. I pulled the sub apart to figure out where it was coming from. When I found the lettuce (that I had told them not to put on), the overpowering rotten smell matched that of what I had just tasted. So basically, if you want to wait for a long time for hot food that is left out for long periods of time on a cold counter to cool (doesn't the health board have something to say on that topic?) only to finally receive food that smells and tastes rotten this is the perfect place for you to go. The rude staff floor show does help with passing the wait time though, I will say that for them. read more

3.5 star Stop by here for a quick bite before I head back to Toronto. Prices are pretty up there. Combo meals will cost you about $14-20 not including taxes. I ordered a small steak for $12 taxes in. The small sub was good they really put a lot of steak in there as they should since you're spending $12 for a small sub. Reminds me of the square one restaurant food court Charley's philly steak. The steak though was pretty bland. If I was in the neighborhood I would probably stop by again and try something else. Definitely worth a come back read more

A Niagara Falls staple . As a former resident of NF , I was looking forward to a blast from the past on a rare trip back. The decor and menu has not changed 1 smidge . Except for the prices . The same hole in the entrance floor has been there for years , the watch your step sign has become a family joke at this point. I remember Tuesday special of 2 tacos and being comatose afterwards. Not the case anymore . The massive large was severely lacking this time . More to the size of yesteryears small and clocking in at just under $9 ! The sub was better but not to the previous high standards . Previously made and recrisped handcut fries were an utter disappointment. I mean , recrisped , how the hell could they be cold ! After many years of enjoying Garrisons Subs, and recently giving them 3rd and 4 chances, I cannot recommend this place anymore. The subs seem to be just thrown together, even though it was 5:00 o'clock it didn't seem overly busy, we asked for oil dressing on the side, like we always do, and got something entirely different, not sure what it was. My meatball sub, was just thrown together. I am sorry that I have to write this, but we will have to look somewhere else. read more

Do you enjoy deep fried food? The food came quick enough but may have been a bit greasy for my insides to handle. I ordered the steak and pepperoni sub with onion rings and an ice tea. This came to 20$. I was given a generous amount of food but can't afford to eat like this on an average day out for lunch. Unhygienic! The person grilling did not use gloves and paid no attention to proper food hygiene, going back and forth between different meals without taking into consideration potential food allergies. I won't recommend to anyone! read more

Eat where the locals do. We were pleased to find that not only was Garrisons Sub in Niagara Falls as good as we remembered but it was better. I had a steak wrap that was heavenly. My husband had a sausage on a bun and fresh cut fries. He swears they are the best fries he's ever had. The service was fast, friendly and the food was delicious. It was nice feel like we weren't getting gauged by all the tourist add ons as well. This will be a regular stop again. read more

The store in the falls is terrible and ruining a long-standing rest reputation, The meat is now portioned so small that the steak subs are now onion subs, Bring Nick back as cook these new owners are ruining the reputation of a long-running Sub shop that has always had a reputation for great food great portions and friendly service all of these appear to be gone from the Niagara falls store next time I get the urge for a Garrison sub I will drive the extra miles to Fort Erie. read more

I don't get back to Niagara Falls often but when I do I always have to make sure I get to Garrisons. They may make what I would guess to be the best Philly cheese steak outside of Philly. They don't call it this but I am pretty sure that is exactly what they are serving. To be honest, last year was my first time in Philadelphia and the one Philly cheese steak I tried was not nearly as good as Garrisons. read more

I'm very happy that i decided to come in for something quick to eat. I got the chicken Parmesan sub which was on a bun and had grilled onions and not N excessive amount of sauce. The fries were perfect! They reminded me of a family style dinner. I will probably go here again if I'm in the area and hungry. read more

Can't think of a realistic way to make it better! They offer everything from gyros and cold subs to burgers and tacos. Great flavor and portions for the more than fair price. I had ordered a beef taco and it was stuffed with fantastically seasoned beef, fresh lettuce and tomato and onion and a nice mild hot sauce. Very filling!! I Ordered a cheese Quesadilla today and it was horrible! The cheese tasted like spoiled milk, so I knew it was definitely bad. Called to complain and the girl that answered the phone said that they had just changed companies for their cheese. Ok I said but it should not taste like rotten milk! She said she would check the cheese then. That was it and then said bye! She.did not offer to replace it or offer something else. This place is one of Niagara's best kept secrets. Luckily I lived nearby at the time and came for a chicken caesar or steak sub often. The wait is a little longer than other sandwich shops but it's because they are grilling everything up fresh in front of you. read more
