This might be one of the most beautifully curated bakeries I've ever been to. I was completely…read moreobsessed the second we walked in, especially with all of the desserts designed to look like actual fruit! Mango, blueberry, avocado, lemon - you name it, they somehow turned it into the cutest, most beautifully crafted pastry. Everything looked almost too pretty to eat... almost. We definitely tried more things than we probably needed to, but it was 100% worth it. The pastries weren't just beautiful either--they were genuinely delicious. We also tried a couple of their specialty lattes, which were really tasty and paired perfectly with all of the desserts. It was VERY busy when we visited, so definitely expect a crowd, but I completely understand the hype. The space is beautiful, the pastry cases are basically works of art, and there are so many things you'll want to try that it's almost impossible to choose. Honestly, this place would be dangerous if I lived nearby because I would be here WAY too often. Absolutely worth a visit, especially if you love pastries and desserts!

While walking around Flatiron, I decided to try this new bakery because it looked really cute and…read morehad some interesting desserts. Little did I know I was about to be OD disappointed. We kept things pretty basic and got a plain croissant, along with their holiday special hot dog croissant, which was shaped like a little dachshund. Honestly, it was pretty cute! The two items came out to around $13, so not the cheapest snack, but not the worst either. Food: 2/5 I'm not gonna lie to you, I didn't even think a croissant could be THIS plain. The outside looked perfect, and the texture seemed like it was going to deliver that flaky, buttery goodness you expect from a good croissant. But then I bit into it, and the inside was just... bread. Plain bread. Like, how is this even possible?! How did you manage to get the flaky texture and everything looking right, but somehow have so little buttery flavor? It was giving me more of a basic dinner roll than a croissant. I was genuinely confused. Then we tried the hot dog croissant special. Unfortunately, the pastry itself had a slightly burnt taste around the tip, which wasn't ideal. Luckily, the hot dog saved it a little because it added some savory flavor and made the whole thing more enjoyable than the plain croissant. Would I intentionally come back just for these two items? Honestly, no. Maybe I ordered the wrong things. Maybe the fruit desserts or cakes are what people actually come here for, and I just completely missed the point. But based on what I tried, I was pretty disappointed. Vibes: 4/5 I will say, the bakery itself was super cute and had that very trendy Flatiron vibe. It was also PACKED, so clearly people are coming here for something! The place definitely looked the part, and I can see why it catches your attention when you're walking by. All in all, I'm a little torn because the bakery was cute, the pastries looked promising, and I really wanted to love it. But when your plain croissant somehow tastes like plain bread, it's hard to get excited about coming back. Maybe I picked the wrong items, and I'd be willing to believe their cakes and fruit desserts are better. But am I going to make a special trip back to find out? Probably not. For now, it's a 2/5 from me. Cute bakery, trendy vibes, but the croissants just weren't doing it for me!

Stopped by Daily Provisions to order breakfast on a Wednesday morning. There's seating indoors…read more(with low back stools) and seating out front (about four tables). I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

I'm not gonna say anything about the wait time because it was really crowded and I'm sure it's not like this on the daily basis. The drinks were good, so that's really all you have to know. The interior was very cute. They decorated it for the event, but even without it it was a small New York style coffee shop. Definitely good vibes. Also, it was very large and had a lot of seating so if you wanted to go and have a little seat and enjoy yourself, you'll have more than enough room plus there was tons of outdoor seating and if the weather is nice, it's beautiful to sit outside.

The Almond Croissant (7/10) had an amazing flaky crust, dense interior, and crispy almonds on top. Honestly, probably the best almond croissant I've had texture-wise, but I'm not a huge fan of almond paste in the middle, which is probably just because I'm not really an almond croissant person. The Cardamom Bun (8.5/10) was the best cardamom bun I've ever had!! The bread was super soft and pillowy, almost like a dinner roll, but the outside was caramelized and had so much cardamom flavor. It was perfectly sweet and I could genuinely eat so many of these. This one made me love cardamom buns, and I'm not sure if any others will top it. Vibes were a 9.5/10. The space felt like I was in a cafe in Japan. Service was fine.

You'll feel badass just waiting in line tbh. 2. It's busy...most of the time. Went at 5pm on a Sat and yeah, packed house. BUT! The line moved quickly. 3. The pain au chocolat was the freshest I've ever had. Flaky, airy deliciousness. 4. The espresso ganache cookie is insanely good. The contrast of the chewy base with the lush center was such a fun combo! 5. Wasn't impressed by their cardomom bun but that's okay - the other pastries were delish.
