However, I'd…read morealready been to Schomp and Auto Nation Subaru for previous routine services and didn't like them at all so this was the next closest place... I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised! I was greeted, treated very nice (not like I was an inconvenience, like the other places I'd been). The place to drive my car in was easy to locate with signs and plenty of room to maneuver. Everything was clean and everyone seemed well organized. I was provided all the information I asked for, verbally and in writing, AND they even washed my car for me, before giving it back! All things that were not provided at other Subaru's around the Denver area. This is the kind of treatment I am used to and have come to expect from Subaru; glad I finally found one in the area that provides it. (I was previously in Northern Virginia where all of this is pretty standard). The story: I had an appointment, which I scheduled online, arrived and drove myself in and checked in with Joshua. He was very nice, actually read my online notes on what I wanted, told me it'd be an hour to an hour and a half (I had requested oil change, all fluids checked, and all systems inspection because my service contract was coming to an end soon and I wanted to ensure that no work was needed). We left and went for a walk around the neighborhood, came back about an hour later and sat in the waiting area. The waiting area is nice because it provides snacks and drinks (although I do wish something more interesting was on the TV's). Without having said anything that we were in there, Joshua came in and found me to give me an update on things. He must have seen us come back, which is nice that he was paying attention to that while busy with other customers too. My car did need an alignment which unfortunately took an additional hour (not sure why an alignment takes that long). Afterwards, Joshua came back and brought me out to explain everything. He even gave me an entire analysis write up they did on my car, which I never received from the other places either. Then pointed me to my car, which was brought inside, so I didn't have to wonder around outside looking for it; and it was even washed up for me. Finally, a Subaru that takes care of their customers! I will mention that the only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is because it took over 2 hours to do this work, which in my experience is excessive for someone who made an appointment and didn't just drop it off in the morning to have done anytime during the day. Normally this would be a lot more irritating as a I value my time, but this inconvenience was easy to overlook, given how well I was treated.

Finding a reliable mechanic is a real pain. For every review saying a shop is fair, trustworthy,…read moreand high quality you'll have another that says it was the worst experience ever. So far, Autosport Werks has given me confidence in their team, but time will be the true test. I brought my 2016 VW Tiguan in for an oil leak which turned out to be many oil leaks and and a couple of knock-on issues. The repair job was very expensive, but my comparison shopping told me their price wasn't terribly far off from what I could expect elsewhere. In the few weeks since that work was done my windshield washer pump has gone out, which does make me a touch suspicious, but given how old the car is I guess I can't be too shocked about random parts giving up the ghost. Their team has been very nice and patient with me and my many questions. They've been transparent, breaking down the quote for me when asked and making sure I understood what they'd found and what they were proposing to do to fix it. The piece that gave me the most assurance was that they offer a four year warranty on their repairs, which I can't imagine any shop would do if they were fly-by-night. So far, so good.

I.E i called for a quote on a transmission oil change on my truck they told me it was gonna be 900+! Outrageous when my ford dealer was gonna charge half and then the local mechanic 300! Also the lying on parts used is crazy. Service advisor said " it takes two filters on the transmission and you need to drop the valve body" when you google search ford 10r80 transmission oil change and tell me if it has 2 filters with one behind the valve body I will gladly eat my own words and pay the 900+ if I'm wrong! Take aways great place to fix complicated things for sometimes cheaper than the dealer please be very weary and google what your problem is and don't always believe what the advisors have to say!!

My windshield wipers were super bad and so was my air filter and I was told it needed to be changed asap and I didn't at the time and when I came back a few months later my car review they send you after checking your car it showed everything was fine and in perfect condition when I havnt even done the reccomended things to do from the last visit. Are cars no longer being checked properly? I also got an oil change and didn't receive my updated sticker to see when to come back. Super dissapointed with the service now I never really know what my car needs done when the workers can't even correctly check the vehicle or care enough to. Just lazy work.

Have a Subaru? Mike Shaw Subaru is the place for Service…read more 163,000 miles dashboard flashes with more warning lights than I've ever seen. Called Subaru, talked to Dan Peeples -- he told me to take it to Autozone to have the codes read before resetting. I also took my car for evaluation to an independent not authorized Subaru Service Shop -- a mistake. They charged for the evaluation. Said I needed a rebuilt transmission and never called back. Dan and I were in communication for a week on my car -- stating I could drive it as long as the hot oil light did not come on. When it did, he said: "stop driving and have it towed in". Within 24 hrs of having my car at Mike Shaw's, Dan called me back with a diagnosis and cost. I picked my car up that afternoon -- transmission repaired. Test drove it to Winter Park -- not only did the car perform outstanding but I got 30.5 mpg driving to the mountains with a 2011 Subaru. My worst fear was that the car was not repairable at a reasonable price and NEW CAR. Now I'm confident for another 100K miles. Dan and his team are incredible. And I have confidence that Subaru and Mike Shaw will stand behind the repair work. I am more than satisfied and glad to know that there is a friendly, quality-minded, excellent Subaru-dealership/service for my car. Recently moved to Denver. I'm all set to explore CO with my Subaru, cycle, paddle board and skis! Thanks to Mike Shaw Subaru and their service managers and technicians. rkkjr
