I couldn't be more unhappy with this situation…read more I asked for my water pump to be diagnosed and my tires to be rotated knowing that they weren't great and also knowing that I needed a new water pump. It cost em $90 to pressure test my water pump and then they didn't rotate my tires they just told me I need new ones... The diagnostics were done for an Audi which I already knew was going to need, and it was going to be roughly around $1,500 to 2000, But they still wanted to do diagnostics anyway. So they just 100% didn't listen to me at all. I was like you know what fine I don't want any of those extra services but I do want my water pump done and the other service, cleaning my valves. The lady I spoke with, she quoted me around $2,200. I set up the appointment and then when I got there the manager was like yeah that's going to be $2,500... I said sorry bud there's no way I'm spending an extra $300... Then went to another shop Was quoted $1,300!!! That's exactly half of what they were trying to charge me!!! They're trying to say that they can't warranty things for 4 years after being replaced... And that's why the cost is so astronomical because it has a 4-year warranty... I call bullshit. I will never ever bring any vehicle to any fine-tuned auto location. you scum are literally stealing people's hard-earned money!! And just to play devil's advocate I called the dealership cuz I assumed they'd be on par or maybe even more than this private company... Dealership quoted me $1,600 never go to fine tune auto!!!! The dealership quoted me $1,000 less than these thieves.. get that through your head folks The dealership was LESS money. It costs an additional $10 and has to be requested separately - something I was never told during my visits. All other shops I've used include tire rotation automatically with oil changes, so this came as a surprise, especially after another tire shop pointed out uneven wear on my tires. I will now have to pay $300 to replace 2 tires early as their wear was halved due to this. Better communication from the staff would have prevented that issue. This isn't the first time I've had a problem here, but it's the one that made me decide to take my business elsewhere. I'd recommend that anyone using this shop ask up front exactly what's included in their service.

After 10 min it became clear they needed to get into the doghouse I have a conversion van so this meant moving a lot of stuff around. I also have a musculoskeletal disability, and it took me about 20 min to move the vast majority of the stuff which needed to be moved, which was a lot for me, I'm still in pain from it, but I did it because that's what needed to be done, but then I always need help with the 70 lb RV refrigerator. 2 min to do for an able bodied guy. mechanic agreed to do it Then they came back and said they couldn't get to the diagnostic stuff that day. And that if I came back: 1) They'd charge me $100 extra for moving the 70 lb RV fridge in and out. 2) They'd charge me twice as much as they had quoted for 1 hr diagnostic. When asked why the front desk drone blathered something about extra time getting in and out of the doghouse. which takes 5 min. I've taken this van to 6-7 mechanics over the years. When the doghouse has needed to be accessed, this has always been the process. It's never been a problem before. I go out of my way, even injuring myself, to do what I can. And then they help with the RV fridge, which only takes a minute. The Americans with Disabilities Act explicitly states that "reasonable accommodations must be made for individuals with disabilities" To charge them more than twice as much is to punish them for having a disability. The fact that most people with disabilities are socio-economically impacted makes this doubly unethical. Whatever good qualities this shop has, Discrimination agains people with disabilities makes the difference and earns them a 1 star review.

After picking up the vehicle and paying under $4000 and the warranty company also paid their portion under $900. The truck drove worse and continued to leak. My husband contacted Troy and we were to bring the truck back and he would have it repaired. I have several emails with conversations to support this issue. The warranty company contacted Troy and requested more information and photos, a week later he provided it to them. After receiving the information from Troy, photos etc, the warranty company decided to send out their own inspectors to check this vehicle and found huge inconsistencies. I will add that the timeline from Troy was off by a week. I have the proof for that as well. I picked up the truck. It did not drive well at all. I'm lucky I got it home which I live very close. I sent several emails requesting a refund as well as my meeting with Troy so that I could get it repaired elsewhere. I never received a response until a phone call from the general manager Austin. He was extremely angry and the conversation didn't go well I felt very intimidated. I attempted to get help through other resources and had other mechanics and lawyers view the statements and they did find that the statements were ridiculous for labor, etc. I finally had enough and called Austin and told him I don't want to fight anymore and if you feel that this company did the right thing then they live with that, no legal action as I wanted to which would allow them to speak with Tom Martino but they declined, they had the opportunity to share their side. I most recently received a voicemail from Austin and returned his call, he told me they would be happy to see me in small claims court, granted this is after I told him I'm finished fighting with him. I emailed and requested their attorneys information and have not received it as of today. He had the nerve to ask if I had the truck repaired, I found that very sarcastic. It doesn't matter that my husband is in the Middle East deployed through next year or that there is a government shut down or that I'm not a mechanic. I was trying to get them to do the right thing and they did not. I am not looking for pity. I am looking for justice and I did not get it. I do not recommend Lake Arbor Automotive to anyone. I'm sure people may have had better experiences with this company however I did not. Be cautious with this company.
