We were unable to pick it up until Monday morning, which was not a problem. My son and I popped in and I was walked through all that was repaired. While in Denver a "check engine light" appeared on the dash board. I suggest she take it to any Auto-Zone in the metro area so they can read the code on what may be a problem. The code was saying that there was a knocking in the motor. We never heard it but the manager said he could hear it when he was taking it for a test drive after they put the part in. My granddaughter took her car in with no knocking, she gets it back $700 later after 3 days to a knocking noise. The manager suggested she take it to the dealer. So the reason for the one star is because her car was dropped off with NO knocking, and given back to her knocking even after the sensor was replaced. I should've read their bad reviews ahead of time. This place was referred to us by a family member. I won't be referring other family members and our church to utilize their services.

After picking up the vehicle and paying under $4000 and the warranty company also paid their portion under $900. The truck drove worse and continued to leak. My husband contacted Troy and we were to bring the truck back and he would have it repaired. I have several emails with conversations to support this issue. The warranty company contacted Troy and requested more information and photos, a week later he provided it to them. After receiving the information from Troy, photos etc, the warranty company decided to send out their own inspectors to check this vehicle and found huge inconsistencies. I will add that the timeline from Troy was off by a week. I have the proof for that as well. I picked up the truck. It did not drive well at all. I'm lucky I got it home which I live very close. I sent several emails requesting a refund as well as my meeting with Troy so that I could get it repaired elsewhere. I never received a response until a phone call from the general manager Austin. He was extremely angry and the conversation didn't go well I felt very intimidated. I attempted to get help through other resources and had other mechanics and lawyers view the statements and they did find that the statements were ridiculous for labor, etc. I finally had enough and called Austin and told him I don't want to fight anymore and if you feel that this company did the right thing then they live with that, no legal action as I wanted to which would allow them to speak with Tom Martino but they declined, they had the opportunity to share their side. I most recently received a voicemail from Austin and returned his call, he told me they would be happy to see me in small claims court, granted this is after I told him I'm finished fighting with him. I emailed and requested their attorneys information and have not received it as of today. He had the nerve to ask if I had the truck repaired, I found that very sarcastic. It doesn't matter that my husband is in the Middle East deployed through next year or that there is a government shut down or that I'm not a mechanic. I was trying to get them to do the right thing and they did not. I am not looking for pity. I am looking for justice and I did not get it. I do not recommend Lake Arbor Automotive to anyone. I'm sure people may have had better experiences with this company however I did not. Be cautious with this company.

Another update :( I've been going to Bending Wrenches for oil changes for the past couple of years…read moreand recently found out that tire rotation isn't included as part of their standard service. It costs an additional $10 and has to be requested separately - something I was never told during my visits. All other shops I've used include tire rotation automatically with oil changes, so this came as a surprise, especially after another tire shop pointed out uneven wear on my tires. I will now have to pay $300 to replace 2 tires early as their wear was halved due to this. Better communication from the staff would have prevented that issue. This isn't the first time I've had a problem here, but it's the one that made me decide to take my business elsewhere. I'd recommend that anyone using this shop ask up front exactly what's included in their service.

He came out, took his time, and really worked through it instead of rushing. You can tell he actually cares about doing things the right way. He got everything apart, helped swap out the solenoids, filter, and put everything back together clean. Even though we ended up confirming it's likely a deeper internal issue (3-4 clutch pack), I really appreciated his honesty and thoroughness instead of just throwing parts at it. His pricing was more than fair, especially considering how much time he spent on it. Hard to find someone that detailed and patient these days. Definitely recommend if you need a solid, knowledgeable mechanic who won't cut corners. I will be using him for ANY future needs.

Requested a complete diagnosis on a 2015 Subaru ( check engine lights and I wanted the CV axles all…read morechecked . Well in less the 10 mins they were done charged me $181.00 Gave me an estimate to change a MAF valve ( maximum air flow ) of $641:46 to change a two screws and a clip valve right on top of the engine. What really disgusted with this place was they said they looked at all 4 CV axles but never told me that both front tires were so worn down on the inner part of the tires that metal band was sticking out. Fact is they never looked at the CV axles otherwise they'd of seen how bad these tires were. Tried to talk to the shop owner about it and get a refund , got nothing but bullshit from him . How many others have folks have they screwed over
