I called Rooter & Plumbing Masters for an emergency situation in which we were not able to…read moresuccessfully change the hot and cold water valves for connecting our new washing machine, but we were also not able to turn the water back on without causing leaks. Within an hour of calling, Marvin came to take care of the problem. He was very professional and called me within 25 minutes of arrival time so I could be ready. He worked efficiently, and when the problem was fixed, I felt relieved. Something that I especially appreciated about Marvin was that he was able to explain the pros and cons to a metal part that came with the replacement valves, recommending us an alternative plastic version of the part so that it wouldn't cause electrolysis over time and damage the copper pipes. I felt like he was watching out for us by explaining possible scenarios or deterioration and sharing his specialist knowledge. I thought that the cost was very reasonable, considering that this had been a last-minute call, so I would recommend them to anyone in the Montebello area who is dealing with a plumbing emergency.

Some nice things about this place is that they have someone answering phones and seems like they have multiple technicians so if you need someone in a hurry, maybe they are worth a shot. I believe my technicians name was Mark. He spent about an hour and seemingly fixed the problem. We then used the bathtub and then it was leaking once again. Some scheduling conflicts happened and they weren't able to get anyone out to my place as quickly but mark did eventually return, just much later same day. He then indicated he had to go get a part and wouldn't be able to do that until the next morning at least. Next morning he came and spent some more time and was able to maybe fix it so the leak was less but still present. Told me that was the best he could do. My usual plumber was available the following day. He came, fixed it in about 45 mins and for a fraction of the price. In the end my usual plumber said that this guy used a wrong size part and left a screw loose (potentially why it was still leaking). So overall not really happy with this company and the technician they sent out.

Plumbers are like good mechanics: when you find a good one, you hold on to them. Greg was incredibly responsive, providing clear guidance and several options for the upgrade we needed. His brother, Christian, performed the vast majority of the work, which involved opening the wall and redoing the pipes. Christian was fantastic--extremely conscientious and professional throughout the several days he was here. I especially appreciated that they always wore protective booties to keep the house clean while moving in and out. The pricing was very reasonable, and Greg even connected us with a skilled tile professional to repair the wall afterward. This was a huge relief and saved me days of DIY frustration. The tile specialist was equally trustworthy and even returned the same day I called to touch up the grout. It is a rare find to have a team that does the job right for a fair price. I highly recommend Greg and Christian!

Worst experience I've ever had with a plumbing company. I called today to have someone come out and…read moreassess an issue with my bathroom. When the plumber arrived, I walked him through the problem. He didn't seem to do much troubleshooting and appeared to be guessing what the issue might be rather than thoroughly checking. He quickly told me he was going to call his boss, Albert Diaz, for further guidance. After the call, he came back and began checking other faucets, but still only inspected one bathroom, even though the two bathrooms back up to each other. He gave me estimates for a couple of options he recommended. Because of how long the work would take, and because he had arrived late, I told him I would reschedule. Shortly afterward, I received a call from Albert Diaz asking what had happened. I explained my interaction with his plumber and told him that I felt the plumber was guessing and that I didn't feel confident or reassured by his diagnosis. Albert apologized and explained that the plumber was new and that he would work on additional training with him. I genuinely appreciated his response because I was simply providing honest feedback about my experience. The conversation changed when I began clarifying the estimates I had been given. It turned out that the plumber had mixed up the quotes, so I was trying to make sure I correctly understood the pricing. I asked, "Just to clarify, it's $500 just to run the camera through the toilet?" My intention was simply to confirm what the $500 charge covered--not to minimize the work or suggest that it wasn't worth the price. Albert appeared to take offense specifically to my use of the word "just," as though I was downplaying the service. That was not my intention at all, and I attempted to explain that I was only confirming the pricing, especially since I had already been given incorrect information. After that, Albert asked who had referred me to him and then told me that he would not be providing any services to me. I found the way the situation was handled extremely unprofessional. As a customer, I should be able to ask questions and clarify an estimate--especially after receiving conflicting pricing--without the owner becoming offended or refusing service. I was initially appreciative of Albert's willingness to listen to my feedback and address the training issue, but unfortunately, the way the conversation ended completely changed my impression of the company. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this company based on the customer service I received.
