It's the sort of local, hometown hardware store that used to exist everywhere, and is rapidly disappearing. My one frustration is the hours they keep. They are open from only 9-12 on Saturday and not at all on Sunday. This often makes it difficult to go to them as much as I would like, especially when working on a weekend. project.

This is particularly true at the back desk, where the two women I have encountered there seemed like I was asking them a huge favor to leave their chair and help me locate something. They are surprisingly unfriendly for a local business in a small town. The cashiers are also unfriendly. They are all milling around the desk, but no one chats with you or shows any interest. I can't tell what the problem is, as it seems like a perfectly nice place to work, but everyone acts like they hate their job.

After talking with Angel about our specific project, he carefully listened, looked at our windows and wrote up a quote to replace 57 windows. We were very impressed with Angel & his team and his professionalism. We chose Angel to replace our windows. We were so grateful and pleased with his work and quality that we got a quote from him to replace seven interior doors! What an awesome well done professional job! The nice thing about Angel and Piedmont Glass & Mirror is they are licensed to take on other work besides just glass! As a building contractor Angel has been able to repair and build other areas I am interested in doing. I highly recommend Angel for any and all of your glass, window, & contractor needs! He is the most talented, professional, and kindest person I've met in a very, very long time! Angel is worth contacting! Highly recommend Angel!

We had Brad visit for a quote to replace shades. It would require some electrical work. They gave me a quote. There was some confusion about who was in charge of getting electrical work done. I thought this company was managing the vendor they recommended. They thought I was handling it even though I only had a general idea what needed to be done. Well 3 months later they called me to ask if I wanted to do the work. I said I would think about it. I would have preferred that they call me a few weeks later to see what I wanted to do. We'll probably work with an authorized dealer instead.

We rented a UHaul and planned to have friends help us move on Saturday 1/7, but due to the forecast…read moreof snow, we didn't want to risk waiting. So, we picked up the UHaul on 1/6 and started packing, but since it was just my husband, son and myself, we couldn't lift the "heavy" items, especially since my husband broke his hand, which was in cast. I called several different companies to see if they had a couple of guys that could help (last minute). We were unsuccessful, in fact, one company price gouged so much that we could have moved cross country! Then, I came across Redi-Care Movers. The receptionist said that she would need to call me back and was going to work on getting help for us. After a couple of calls back and forth, we were able to get 2 guys to come at 1:30pm (this was all confirmed at about 12:15). Then, Desi and Mike showed up. They were professional, friendly and got the job done efficiently. They moved the items so quickly, we couldn't keep up! On one of the worst days of my life, they were able to make me laugh! I cannot tell you how thankful I am for them, they saved us! In addition, while talking to the receptionist and another young lady - everyone, was so kind and friendly and wanted to help us. Honestly, I had low expectations since this was last minute and we were desperate. Our experience was just the opposite! I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We will certainly use them in the future!

This company arrived in a U-HAUL truck not a company truck. We contracted 3 men but only 2 men showed up to work. They have been paid the contracted amount but we are complete unsatisfied and we will report them to the BBB. BEWARE! Horrible customer service and completely unprofessional. DO NOT USE! I beg the differ about a great reputation. People please read their reviews. I'm glad you can sleep at night believing that reimbursing my parents $218.69, the same amount it cost them to rent a U-Haul and move all of the remaining items themselves because your company failed to do the job correct. Sir be honest charging $900 to move from Oxford to Burlington is absurd especially using a UHaul truck not a company truck. You know that your company took advantage of their naiveness. I just hope people are reading your reviews before they ever decide to book with your company. People beware!

As far as the actual moving goes, yes, they can lift and move your belongings just fine. My issue was with furniture assembly. Before the move, I specifically spoke with them over the phone and explained that some furniture had been disassembled by my movers in Tucson and would need to be assembled at the destination. They said that was fine. Then, during the move, they suddenly threw in the possibility that they wouldn't assemble some of it because they didn't want to take on the liability. That was frustrating. If you've discussed the requirement beforehand and the company has agreed to it, bringing up a new limitation once the move is already underway puts the customer in a difficult position. The whole reason for discussing these things upfront is to avoid exactly that kind of surprise. To their credit, they did ultimately assemble the furniture, so it worked out. But I'd strongly recommend getting confirmation about assembly beforehand--and preferably in writing. And keep your own tab on the time.
