Gap usually have the best bargains compared to most (if not all) of the stores in any outlet shopping centers. This one absolutely did not disappoint. They were having a mad sale on their women's jeans so I got a couple of those. They had a great selection off their clearance items as well, so I got a handful of things (for me and for gifting.) As I got rung up, I learned that everything I got was cheaper than I calculated and, "If you use your Gap card, it's an additional 20% off. It ends today." Finished one transaction and told my cashier, "I'll be right back." They were practically giving away their stuff for free! I was told it's to make room for more new things. Fine by me, there are some lucky peeps I thought of who are (unknowingly) about to score some Gap gear! Excellent service, excellent bargains. Highly recommending! NOTE: They charged me twice for an item, but nothing that wasn't resolved at The Gap Outlet - San Leandro. No biggie!!! read more

With everything pretty much an additional 30% off their already super low markdowns you can not help but walk out of here with more than you were planning on buying. And my 200th review goes to one of my favorite places, the Gap Outlet!!! This location has only been in Napa since opening in January. It is definitely a lot cleaner and more organized than its Vacaville counterpart. Another plus is they had a lot of cute pants here in my size!! When you're petite, with a big old booty, you need stuff that stretches, but yet not too long that you're swimming in your pants. I think I found about 6 pairs of pants that I loved and all of them were on sale, yay! I also love their kids clothes as my mom and I found an adorable outfit for my niece on sale too! I hope more people discover this gem of a store, but hopefully none of them wear my size, because usually some other short, big bootied person stole my size already! read more

I didn't find anything I liked, but my wife and grandmother walked out spending about $70, and they got a lot of stuff. The Friends and Family 30% coupon brought the total down a lot. Everything they had, I didn't need-- shirts, pants, jeans, etc. So I was walking around the men's department for a while, just trying to kill some time. I did like some of the newer selection of clothes, but nothing grabbed me. I walked over to woman's-- to find my wife-- and there she is holding her own rack of clothes. read more

I never find anything I like. It's a decent store, but I'm just not impressed with the offerings. The baby stuff is ridiculous. 10 to 20% off the regular price is not a bargain. And who decided that onesies that close with buttons are a good idea? No wonder they aren't selling in the outlet. I'm not a big Gap shopper, but all the times I've been to this Gap I've found some pretty good deals. The clearance section is pretty tiny, but it's pretty well organized and they have some decent clothing items there. I bought a bunch of tops for around $5, some tank tops for $2.50, and a nicer sweater top that's good for work around $7. They also had some skirts under $10 and some jeans that weren't too pricey, but I couldn't find anything for my short size. Lots of cheap basics, and if you're lucky, you might find some nicer tops for a pretty good deal. read more

The GAP is not my forte. Usually, I scream in agony when my mother drags me into this establishment. SO MUCH COTTON, SO MANY PLAIN SHIRTS. Alas, I rated this sucker 5 stars on purpose. I think the Gap outlet is a great store. You can get some really great deals here, especially when they're having a sale. One year, I got a wool peacoat here for $20. What a steal! The store is clean and well organized. I do wish that they had a bit larger selection, and that their workout wear was a bit cheaper. Other than that, this place is awesome. read more

I don't usually shop at Gap, but I decided to give it a try. I picked up a few items, went to try them on. Once I decided to buy them I made my way to the check out line, which was long! There was only one cashier open and a long line of very irritated customers. We waited a while and finally made it to a cashier. It was pretty busy this particular day, and for there to be only one cashier seemed bad customer service on their end. Hopefully on my next visit there will be more than one cashier open. read more

Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping. Need I say more? It was surprisingly quiet, considering the time of year. They had a ton of stuff on sale, mostly basics that you can wear with anything. If you don't see that they have additional percentages off, I would wait until another time to shop. read more

As great as the selection is at this location, I've had 2 of 2 experiences shopping there with bad customer service from one of the cashiers, which makes a huge difference in my desire to shop there again. He was rude to the other very friendly cashier and rude to me the next time I was in. Flippant, better- than-thou attitude for no particular reason, and really a killjoy to the ambiance there. Sorry, buddy, but your service earned you the lowest rating possible. read more

As a tall person most of their clothes don't fit me well.

I like this store and its staff. The clothes are reasonably priced and quality is unbeatable. Most of my kid's clothes are purchased here and when they grow out of them, we normally pass it on to someone in need, since the colors dont fade, they almost look like new. One star for policy only, normally love this store. Today came in with my itemized receipt from purchases made two days ago. After wrapping gifts realized I had a $20 Gap Cash for a purchase of more than $50, I had spent $97. I came in today fully expecting Gap would honor this especially since the manager I spoke to also helped me two days ago and knew I was there. I was told all the items would need to be brought in and returned then repurchased to take advantage of this offer. I am not going to go home and unwrap all the gifts I just wrapped to save $20. I was also offered the suggestion of treating myself to something nice over $50. If I could afford that maybe I would but single mom, just paid property taxes and mortgage looming, no I can't treat myself. I gave the coupon to a lovely lady in line, who seemed happy to receive it. And am now writing this angry one star review. If I didn't have the receipt I could totally understand but this seems totally unreasonable. I won't go so far to say Gap has lost a customer but this has left and incredibly bad taste in my mouth. read more

I am not a Gap shopper usually. But this particular Gap outlet has an amazing assortment of cardigans I grab twice a year at a very cool price. I have purchased similar cardigans at the Crew store nearby for much more money in the past - and the little Gap sweaters last just as long for half the price. Once in a while, I've also found fun prints for summer at the front of the store- who'd have thought. Very friendly staff also. The front of the store always seems to have the best stuff. I was offered 20% off if I applied for a Gap credit card. After filling out all my personal info I then had to talk with 2 different people on the phone and after waiting there for almost 30 minutes at the cash register with people backed up, I was declined for being on a fixed income! read more

This is a review for a visit from last week. My mom, sister and I decided to pop in as we were first timers at this outlet. We dont really shop Gap, but since it was a free day for us, why not? We might find something we might actually like. Upon walking in we were greeted w/ friendly staff and was handed a coupon for our next visit. Alright cool. The place was really neat, typical Gap store. Not even 10 min looking around, my mom encountered this really sour employee who stared her down and demanded what my mom wanted and where she needed to go after kindly telling said employee that she was just looking around the clearance section. My mom isnt the best at english and she has a pretty heavy accent, but shes not deaf nor is she incapable of finding her way around the store, especially a store not as huge. The employee was completely rude and made our experience really uncomfortable. Im not going to generalize Gap or their employees, bc im sure theyre all great at what they do, but man that particular woman...seriously, im sorry you had a bad day, but dont take it out on innocent people, not to mention your potential customers. So we left and the next visit coupon went into the trash. read more
