I always visit this store! Artists are either local or all made in America. I'm a crazy fanatic…read morefor Art one of a kind jewelry or clothing made by someone's own hands. ( or limited edition anything designed by famous artists ) Can you believe society has come to the point once again where perhaps the carpenter, local baker, and metal worker might become valued once again? Call me a radical. We will only hang on to what is human for so much longer with the " Great AI" nigh. Hold on to what is human as long and hard as you can. Support people who use their hands to make things. Support industries that only humans can do if you can ! Trade services. Support your neighbor. Buy locally if you can. If not nationally! If not then try. I love their makers brand clothing, the jewelry cases full of hand done trinkets or fine gems ! Art by people. Appreciate the value of human creativity and human hands if you can today. If you cannot afford to buy it then make something yourself today snd give it to yourself! Oh and the salespeople here are THE BEST Humans. Go in just to say hello ... that's a gift to yourself in and of itself. Tell them you appreciate them. Pay it forward people! Keep it rolling on the kindness train ! Plus who isn't kind of giddy in Napa ! Wine ? Come on !!!

I was a huge fan of the Walnut Creek store, but this location of Makers Market is not as good…read more The quality of the selection has definitely fallen and the service was more suspicious than friendly. They still have some of the fantastic brands the other location did, such as the leather coasters, candles in a milk bottle, and bar items for drink mixing but many of the other pieces felt cheap and out of place. All in all, the vibes and selection at this location weren't for us so I don't see us returning.

They'll…read moreannounce all sorts of special events, but the big one that I like is the 50% off everything in the store event. They do this periodically. With a sale like this, prices plummet so precipitously that I end up buying oddball items like mason jars just because I want the lid for my much bigger and more useful mason jar at home. I thought I knew the store pretty well, but I was wrong. There were all sorts of little sections that I had overlooked in my previous visits. I found a little set of bins, loaded with useful supplies for some of my favorite but more obscure hobbies. I was really really impressed by the coffee table that was priced at $.85. That is correct cents. This was so unbelievable that I checked the price tags three times. Unfortunately, it didn't fit my car, it doesn't match any of my decor and it doesn't fit my spaces. Oh well There are some sections, such as the stationary area that are so reliably overstocked that I don't even bother to visit office supply stores or check out Amazon before I shop here. In fact when I wanted to measure an item, I wished I had bought a tape measure. But then it occurred to me that the overstocked stationary area would probably have lots of rulers. Problem solved. For once, I arrived early enough that I could donate. I've been diligently collecting my donations and missing the donation times for almost a year. It pays to sign up for the mailing list because they will unexpectedly shut down donations because they no longer have any storage. This has happened to me multiple times until I wised up and got the emails. I rummaged over enough stuff, lost track of time, and finally snapped out of it when my stomach told me to go home. In spite of the attractive sale,, it was not overcrowded. It was still comfortable and gave you plenty of space to look at items and try to figure out what some of the more obscure objects were. I didn't actually end up buying very much. But clearly the fun was in the treasure hunt.

My wife found two flannel shirts that are of great quality and will be warm during our chilly weather. Pricing was fair, my guess is 50% off of retail. It's a not a big shop like a Goodwill or Salvation, but it's larger the a boutique Thrift Shop. 1st room is mostly clothing, second room is books, dvds, CDs , houseware and electronics. (Very limited electronics). I did find a nice Cheese Knife Set for my Charcuterie collection Staff was super friendly. % Recommend
