I've been to many BBQ places, but this one is by far the best. The meat is incredibly delicious -- very flavorful, juicy, and you get generous portions. Prices are fair and absolutely match the quality. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend. Easily one of the best BBQ spots I've tried.

Gan-hoo BBQ did NOT disappoint. The Meat Lover's Stair Combo was stacked with beef, pork, seafood -- and yes, Wagyu Add in great cocktails and apps and we were officially rolling out the door. Worth it every time. I need to come back for lunch - they have an AYCE lunch for just $39.99 - literally can't beat this!!

All the food was we came as a group and loved it. It's a really good price and we were so full. Really appreciated them having a good amount of vegetables to choose from like oyster mushrooms, other types of mushrooms, cucumber salad, kimchi, lettuce wraps, white rice, mixed flavored rice, and soup. The cucumber salad was a bit too spicy for us though. It would be nice if they had a very mild version. All of the meat selections were great. It's very filling, straightforward and easy. The service was excellent. They're so kind and attentive. Really appreciate the water refills and having lemon in the water. Definitely coming back!

We came by on a Friday night with a reservation and were seated in a few minutes. The restaurant is on the second floor and is fairly large. We had the staircase meat platter and the seafood pancake. The meat platter had a variety of beefs, pork belly and pork jowl and shrimp. My favorite was marinated kalbi. The pancake was nice and actually tasted even better crisped up on the grill. The staircase itself is probably good for 2-3 ppl. Overall food was good and service was fine. My only complaint is that the place gets really smoky and needs a little bit better ventilation.

We came here as a group of 4 for the $40 AYCE lunch special on a Sunday, and I think it was good value and quality for the price. The flatiron was surprisingly good and probably my favorite. I also enjoyed the various briskets they had. I'm normally not a pork belly person, but their pork belly was not super fatty, which was nice. They provide lard for you to oil the grill, and everything is to be cooked yourself, which makes sense for AYCE. They also have a different grill plate for some of the fattier meats like the beef toro, so if you find that your grill is smoking up too much, you can ask them to change the grill plate. Some of the sides were also very good - the radish was delicious and the chicken nuggets were a surprising standout. I didn't like how they slowly they brought out our orders, and there is no iPad to order, so you have to tell the waiters what you want. Definitely better to come when it's less busy - we came right at 12pm and there were only like 3 tables, so the service was quite good. By the time we finished eating, the place was definitely busier. I also wish they had galbi!

Ambiance (5/5): The interior is larger than it looks but not too much space. For lunch, a small corner of about 8 parties were seated. The 2-person table felt a little cramped but otherwise the area was well-lit, clean, open, comfortable. Service (5/5): Our servers were wonderful in providing suggestions, floating the floor for additional requests, helping to change out our cooking grates, and even helping us to cook at various points. They even went out of our way to give us another soda before we asked for it and packed up our leftover soup! Service here is through the roofff Food (5/5): AYCE $40 for lunch is expensive but it does include tons of great cuts of meat. Spicy beef was our favorite (marinated with a cumin seasoning). Skip the pork belly. All other beef cuts tasted great. Included are several appetizers (wings, stews, salads, corn etc.) and sides (examples: kimchi, white rice, pickled radish, fries, etc.), unlimited soft drinks! Seafood Tofu Stew (5/5): Portion size was big enough for 2 people. It had tons of flavor and stocked with enoki mushrooms, tofu, small chucks of calamari and baby shrimp.

Great KBBQ at a great price! The quality of the meat is great and the staff is attentive and friendly. Would recommend for those looking for an AYCE option in the city.

Love this place so much - absolutely great establishment. We got pretty much one of everything and we did not leave hungry. Amazing time with friends.

We live very nearby so we got to see how the place was coming together. And today we got a chance to try it out and it lived up to the hype. Really good Korean BBQ, quality meat, yummy sides and super friendly stuff. Their prices are very reasonable and much lower than any other KBBQ in the area. Highly recommend to come by.

    spicy cucumber smash

Unfortunately the food was just ok. Friendly staff and quick service. The meat from the Kindom steak combo was not as flavorful as meats I tried from nearby kbbq restaurants. The creamy based cheese corn and spicy cucumber smash were fine

The lobster is a little chewy, but the spicy claws were very flavorful. All of the crab had so much meat and the seasonings were all amazing. Surprisingly, the iron steak was one of our favorites despite this being a seafood spot. The waiter did say to just check mark the paper instead of quantities, but they end up bringing you 2 of everything you order. The sweet & spicy fish is also very solid, garlic noodles were buttery, and even their iced tea was super refreshing. Could not recommend this place more!! Bonus: they play a great 2000s throwback playlist that got us singing along and dancing while we were peeling all our seafood to pass the time. Shoutout to whichever employee put that playlist together!

This is exactly the kind of place that works well when you need something fast but still high quality. Service stood out. Jeanine was excellent; she quickly understood our time constraint, guided us to the right dishes, and kept everything moving without making it feel rushed. At one point we accidentally put a plastic menu over a lit candle, and she handled it immediately and made the moment feel light rather than awkward. The atmosphere was lively and full; the place was packed, but it still felt organized rather than chaotic. The bar looked well stocked, and the overall ambience worked well for a pre-train, Times Square-adjacent stop. Food was solid, with a few standouts. The salmon tartare with sesame crackers was excellent; clean, fresh, and well balanced. Jeanine recommended the shrimp avocado sliders, and that was the right call; they were outstanding. Happy hour oysters were fresh and well balanced. Littleneck clams were good, though slightly less compelling than the oysters. The fish tacos were good but not particularly memorable. Fried calamari was well executed, though the accompanying sauce could have used a little more flavor. The hot sauce, assuming it is made in house, was excellent and added a much better punch to the seafood. Drinks from the happy hour menu, including the Pink Flamingo and margarita, were good and consistent. I would come back to try more from the main menu. If you like seafood, this is a strong option for the price point and location, especially during happy hour.

I find it oftentimes to be overpriced, coming with a lot of bells and whistles and lacking in flavor compared to Little Thailand in Queens where I grew up. This place is an exception! From beginning to end everything was excellent. The pork belly was the perfect temperature of warm, tender, a bit acidic/sour (YUM), and so delightful. I can see why many reviews recommend it. The crab curry was so nice and clean and fresh. The crab was so tender, and the curry strong, and went beautifully with the rice. It's actually such a sleeper hit, and we added it onto our order last minute. The steamed branzino was delicious, too - tender, limey, sour, sweet, a little heat - it's got everything!! And it tasted so so clean. Beware! There are tiny fish bones, so be careful as you're eating it. The dessert was good too, and very authentic.

From the moment I entered the restaurant, I knew the experience was going to be next level. Thank you Jay for seating me and my friend at the best table in the house. Complimentary delicious bread, water, and warm hand towels are provided to clean your hands. The seafood buffet is $168 and you can order everything, as many times as you like. The buffet is contactless. The food is served to you at your table. Because the food is served in a manner that is based on a shared dining experience. All guests at the table have to order either buffet or Prix Fix menu. My order of Rockefeller oysters, and clams were simply the best I ever tasted. The way they were prepared is the only way I want to taste them. The next dishes they brought out were fried shrimp, sizzling shrimp scampi. Soft shell crab was cooked to perfection. My garlic butter Nova Scotia Lobster was divine. Cooked, and served to perfection! Next the sizzling sea bass was brought to the table! O-M-G! Within a second after arriving to our table still sizzling. Jose came to personally debone the fish (never had that done before) and he added the Thai chili sauce. At this point, my body was in a foodie coma! After a brief clean up of our table. I left our dining room, and went to the ladies room. When you walk in the ladies room, between the floral scent, and decor you are in awe of the details, the bathroom was dreamy. Special thanks to the Manager Sam for stopping by every table to see if everything was to our satisfaction. It was beyond our satisfaction. Tip: Make reservations even if your a party of two. Be sure all guests arrive at the same time. Tip#2: The upstairs level is perfect for large gatherings, corporate events, holiday events, bridal, baby showers, bar/bat mitvah's, and industry events.
