Not too many places to be able to escape the crowded terminal gate areas or restaurants and stores... gameway is a great place to go! If you have Priority Pass you can get 1 hour of free gaming, a snack and a drink (energy drinks excluded). The lighting is just right to keep you calm but also the equipment and chairs are great if you are a gamer. Also ok to sit and do some work while you're waiting for your flight. Staff is super friendly and helpful as well!

11/25/25 Tuesday Location: LAX Terminal 6 Came around 8 PM. The Chase Sapphire Reserve card gets you in with 2 guests for free. Each guest gets 1 snack and 1 drink, with the exception of the energy drinks. They had a variety of snacks from chips and candy to healthier options like trail mix and protein bars. It wasn't too crowded. The staff person was friendly and eager to help. Not the biggest lounge, but it did the job. You get 1 hour of complimentary gaming time.

Stopped by Gameway in LAX Terminal 3 (near gate 30) to take advantage of Priority Pass, which allows the cardholder and two guests to benefit from the perks. These include one hour of game time and either 1) one snack and one non-alcoholic beverage or 2) one alcoholic beverage. The snack selection is wide (chips, trail mix, Chex mix, candies, gum, etc.), and the drink options are also varied (sodas, teas, sparkling waters, canned coffee). We did not use the individual gaming areas, but the seats looked comfortable, and the place was not too crowded on a Saturday morning. The people working at Gameway were pleasant and helpful. There are Gameways at several airports throughout the U.S. that participate in Priority Pass, and it's a great way to pass time or to pick up a snack and drink before your flight. Will definitely take advantage of this perk again when traveling through LAX!

Founded in 2016, Gameway Video Game Lounge now has 6 locations in 4 airports (one in Houston Hobby, one in Charlotte, two in LAX, and two in DFW). Recently upgrading to a Chase Sapphire Reserve allowed us to use the included Priority Pass membership to enjoy. Unlike some other lounges, a passenger can access at the destination location along with the origin. A priority pass member is allowed to include two guests, each person given 1 hour of video console play time and snacks (EITHER 1) choice of one bag of chips/candy and soda/water OR 2) one alcoholic drink). So when we landed into LAX with checked bags, we were both able to pick up snacks and a drink before heading to baggage claim. This seems to be common, as the associate didn't think twice of letting us do that. The second time, we arrived at LAX too early to go to the Centurion lounge so spent one hour playing video games while bunching on the snacks. They have a huge inventory of both X-Box and Playstation games, with the associates helping whenever needed. I also saw folks just stopping in to buy snacks or drinks....pretty sure they were on a business trip and the selection of snacks is quite good, especially if you don't have to directly pay for them.

They let us roam around inside even though we didn't play, but my kid clicked through a bit on one of the screens to see what they had. Such a cool place and seeing more of these open up out here. Next time we have a layover and more time to kill, you know we'll spend it here!

Gateway gate is locked and closed before the time posted on Yelp.

My husband and I are here at 935pm on Sunday (3/29/2026). Unfortunately, the see through gate is locked and closed. We saw several patrons came by, everyone was surprised. This is really bad service for Priority Pass holders.

Good place to let time go by as you are waiting for your flight or in my case an overly delayed flight. Plenty of game consoles were open and clean. Staff was available if you needed help. There's also snacks and beverage go purchase as well. This location is in Terminal 3 near Gate 30 Delta. Priority pass members get one hour complimentary play.

first time going to the gameway here located in terminal 3 next to gate 30! Priority Pass offers free drink and snack of your choice with an hour of free gaming with PC or consoles available. Was able to get a PC quickly to play some quick games. The guy working this morning was super nice and helpful. He was even helping this young kiddo with learning how to play Fortnite since it was his first time and always wanted to play the game. It's a chill area to relax before your flight or if you have extra time during a layover!

Ok so 1st timer here, but awesome experience, for sure. Got the kiddos setup with a couple stations. They get to choose their console type/system and had a boat load of games to choose from. The staff are super friendly and helpful, guiding the kids and helping them out as they got set up. Honestly, the main reason we tried them out was due to the priority pass benefit, and US parents are so happy we did. Not only did it make a long layover enjoyable to the kids, it gave us adults an hour to decompress, chill and grab a drink only footsteps away as they were playing. The added perk of a free snack and drink to go with their game time was a nice touch too. In the day and age where everything at an airport costs an arm and a leg, this was money well spent. Oh and we did it again on our return trip as well... 2nd visit was just as good as the 1st. Killer staff, good time fo all!

I love Gameway! Located across gate 33 in Terminal 3 of LAX, it's the only place (that I know of) that accepts Priority Pass in this terminal. I have PP through Chase Sapphire Reserve and with it, you and your guest have a choice of either... 1.) 1 Hour of Gaming + Snack + Non-Alcoholic Drink 2.) 1 Hour of Gaming + Alcoholic Drink On this particular day, I chose the latter and grabbed a canned beer, Elysian Space Dust IPA. I was also able to play one of my favorite games on the XBOX, Unpacking, for an hour. The person that was helping me was super friendly and accommodating. The headphones and controllers are cleaned regularly, so I'm not at all worried about spreading germs. The chairs are also really comfortable! Your choice of consoles are XBOX, PlayStation, and PC. They have a variety of snacks available, as well as non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. If you're not up to playing games, you can also stream movies or just hang out and use their Wi-Fi for your own personal devices.

The check-in process is seamless, and you bypass the usual airport crowds and long TSA security lines. In fact, you barely even feel like you're at the airport until it's time to head to your gate. The lounge itself is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The food is outstanding, and wherever you choose to sit, attentive staff come to you to take your order and provide exceptional service. Every detail feels elevated and thoughtfully designed. The staff were friendly, and the food and drinks were basic, but the overall experience was not worth it. In hindsight, I would have been better off spending my $35 eating at a restaurant in the terminal or taking the shuttle to the Centurion Lounge, where I could have entered for free. What really ruined the experience was another guest who was visibly intoxicated and repeatedly yelling at the television during the England vs. Mexico match. He mistakenly assumed I was Mexican (I'm Pacific Islander) and directed comments toward me throughout the game. I thought the staff had removed him, but when I went to the quiet seating area to relax, he was there again continuing to be disruptive. The purpose of an airport lounge is to provide a peaceful, comfortable place to unwind before a flight. Unfortunately, this lounge failed to deliver that experience, and I would not pay for access again.

Positives: They have hot food vs Terminal 4 that had no hot food when I flew AA in May, 2025; The lounge is more spacious vs Terminal 4; The food was pretty good, but should have included more hot food like scrambled eggs, bacon, et al; Showers; Negatives: $79 daily fee. United charges $59, but their LAX lounge is much larger and has more hot food; The fee in relation to the offerings is misaligned. For the price, they should have more offerings; I plan on flying AA more bc of service and price. I also plan on getting AA's top card that includes an Admirals Club membership. Located just north of the TSA security point, the Sky Club is located between Terminals 2 & 3. Once you check in, you will ride the elevator or escalator to the main club floor. At the main floor, the first half of the lounge has a lot of seats, a good proportion with outlets. Then there is the bar, outdoor patio, drink station, & finally buffet area. Other amenities include showers, hot chocolate, and even a slushy station. The buffet rotates between an an assortment of breakfast items and lunch/dinner. At this Sky Club, there is always a featured dish to order. Most times its tacos, this time for 4th of July it was hotdogs/smoked sausages. The flagship lounge at LAX is the top tier set up for American Airlines. Access here is free, provided you are going ultra long haul, overseas. If not, you pay $150, or sacrifice 15k AAdvantage miles, even though you're in the upper class cabin, traveling to another country. Another cheap shot, from American. Still, they cannot get the food service right. Let's not forget the bar, self service, is really high-end and unmatched. let's get back to the food. A lot of the stuff looks un appetizing, dried out. You can confirm, after picking up a selection or two, that most of it is tasteless. Even though, their food presentations have fancy names. Lol. But once in a way, there are a few gems in the display. This time it was that chocolate ganache tart, yes really spectacular. Surely catered (later displays were soggy). They also have a so called "live station" from 6 to 8 pm. This time, I was able to make it. This month's selection was seafood (shrimp and real crab meat) crêpes, mixed in with a mushroom concoction. It is topped with a white wine sauce. Note, the crepe shells (no browning), like everything else, was pre prepared. Only assembly on a hot plate. They need to rename this "assembly station". It was just a show and tell, just okay. It would have been something, if they prepared the crêpes fresh from a batter, in front of you, don't you think? Just that aroma and the real thing, would have been intoxicating, and something to write home about. But American Airlines does not care about that. They dominate certain routes from LAX. They know that. They also know, people will still visit and stay, in their lounges. So how was the on demand Bulgogi burger, ordered by scanning the qr code at your specific seat in a different part of the lounge? I was able to get it at my table away from the specialized area. It arrived fast. The beef was marinated and tender. The fried egg that was part of the burger, had the look consistency and taste, that you would get on a egg and sausage McMuffin. No complaints here. It was the best presentation. Everything was superb in this selection. This was the best item of the evening.
